Het is een lief, aanhankelijk hondje, dat zich op een week snel aan ons heeft aangepast. Ze is heel vinnig en nieuwsgierig, een heel ander hondje dan Noleke.
This is our new dog Kira, a cross between a water dog and a Podenko. She has been with us since February 7, 2024 and is busy winning our hearts. She is a sweet, affectionate dog who quickly adapted to us within a week. She is very quick and curious, a very different dog than Noleke.

The KGB files were sold in their entirety to Yale University, and two U.S. film companies bought the rights to the KGB UFO files. Soviet scientists and cosmonauts also came forward with what they knew. In 1990 Colonel Marina Popovich held a press conference in San Francisco at the Russian Consulate. During the conference she showed amazing photographs of cigar-shaped alien craft in space that were each, fifteen miles long. Near Colonia Año De Juarez, Mexico – May 30, 1986 – 8:30pm
Carlos was bicycling back home after visiting family and was using a side road in order to avoid the heavy traffic. Soon about 500 meters ahead he noticed what appeared to be two large luminous eyes staring at him. As he approached the eyes the bicycle light turned off and Carlos movements seemed to become lethargic.
A short figure with large luminous eyes approached the witness and ordered Carlos to follow him. The figure remained 4 meters ahead of Carlos, who seemed unable to resist and followed the creature to a field were a large lighted object rested on the ground. A ramp descended to the ground and Carlos entered the craft, followed by two more short humanoids.
Inside he found himself in a lighted circular area with what appeared to be a square table in the middle of the room. In a corner stood a taller more heavyset figure with large luminous eyes. For some unknown reason, Carlos knew that this creature was the “leader.” He described the figure as having a huge oval shaped hairless head, with large black eyes lacking any pupils. It had two holes for ears, two holes for a nose and a slit like lipless mouth. The head was directly set on its shoulders, lacking a neck and appeared to have a hump on its back. It had dark gray skin, resembling that of an elephant, with long thin arms and legs. A bizarre feature was its hands, which ended in numerous thin filaments resembling roots. No apparent clothing was seen.
At this point the witness was very afraid but heard a mental message imploring to be calm, that they did not harm humans. A telepathic conversation ensued in which the humanoid invited the witness to come with them to their place of origin. The witness declined the invitation and was told that they understood his decision. He was then shown on a diffused screen on a wall a dry arid world apparently the humanoid’s point of origin. He was also informed that they could transform their bodies and appearance at will, and was given a brief demonstration.
Suddenly the witness was overcome by “darkness” and then passed out. When he woke up he found himself lying on the road next to his bicycle at about 2200. He suffered from severe insomnia for the next two weeks and from terrible nightmares. He found several round red marks around the belly button area and circular marks around his under arms. Later under hypnosis he was able to remember that at one point onboard the craft he was taken into a room where he saw numerous objects resembling telephone booths. He was asked to enter one of them, once inside a bright blue light covered his body. Once outside he looked inside another one of the booths and saw a figure identical in appearance to him. Before leaving he was told by the leader to keep an eye for the sign of their return by being aware of “the sounds of distant thunder.”
In 1975 or 1976 there was some commotion in Kuantan, Malaysia, when a strange encounter with a 3-inch-tall man-like creature was reported. The incident occurred about 9 miles from the town of Kuantan. The small UFO which ferried the tiny entity is said to have landed at the Royal Malaysian Air Force Base.
There were three young witnesses to the encounter. The third witness, not mentioned in the newspaper account below, is known to be still schooling in Kuantan. Attempts have been made to locate this witness. The whereabouts of the other two witnesses is not known and it is conceivable that they have moved to other Air Force installations in the country with their parents.
Below is a short account of the incident as it appeared in the local newspaper:
“Kuantan, Thursday – A 3-inch-tall creature said to resemble a human being, has become the talk of the RMAF base here since its reported sighting, by a schoolboy two days ago. The story has also spread to the town.
“Paul Lazario, 9, a pupil of the RMAF Primary School said he saw the creature two days ago near a drain at the RMAF field. It was stopping to drink water, he added. ‘I caught it but it escaped from my grip and ran into some undergrowth near the drain,’ he said.
“It had two feelers on the head and held a steel-like rod in its hand. A pistol was hanging from its waist. It was brown in colour and looked like a man,’ he added.
“Paul said he related the incident to his friends and in the evening three of them went to the spot near the field. And according to schoolboy, Neo Lee Ann, 12, all three saw the creature moving about on the area. ‘When it saw us, it ran into the undergrowth and disappeared’ he said.
“A teacher of the school, Mr. Yew Kim Guan, said when he heard the story he went to investigate. ‘There was no sign of the creature in the area, but I saw a Red Indian-like wigwam beautifully weaved out of grass. It was partly crushed,’ he said.
“He added he didn’t know whether to believe the story,”
Uniontown, Pennsylvania – August 3, 2000 – 10:00pm
Five witnesses observed what they described as an alien “glide” across a field. The witnesses described the being as about 5 feet tall with long slender extremities. It carried a brown “staff” about 5 feet long. It was observed for about a minute from a distance of about 250 feet. No apparent disturbances to the area around the being were reported. The creature appeared to glide about 6 inches above the ground, according to the witnesses. Weather conditions were cool and clear with no wind. No sounds were reported and witnesses commented on it seeming abnormally quiet at the time. Crickets and other normal background noises were absent. The witnesses lost sight of the being when they drove a short distance up the road to an area which they thought would offer a better view, only about 75 to 100 ft from where the being was seen. A small knoll obstructed their view as they drove. When they got to the closer location, the being was gone. The witnesses returned home after the encounter. They reported no serious effects from their sighting, although three of them did claim to be very tired the next day.

Lancaster County, Pennsylvania – August 1973 – various
An ungodly looking creature created havoc among the local god-fearing Amish community. Witnesses described the creature as following: The size of a good heifer, gray in color with a white mane. It had tiger like fangs and curved horns like a Billy goat. It ran upright on long legs, and had long grizzly claws. In one incident, the creature sent a team of horses and two brothers flying when it approached their hay wagon. The following day, a man was cutting weeds on his farm about five miles from the previous incident when he heard a fierce roar and turned to see a monster with three horns and a tail charging in his direction. He raised his scythe to defend himself, only to have the implement ripped from his hands. At that point, the man wisely decided to turn both cheeks to the monster and escaped as fast as he could run. A day later a woman was feeding poultry on a farm midway between the two earlier incidents when she heard a commotion and turned to see the creature in the act of snatching a goose in each of its hands. She bravely ran toward the thing, waving her apron. The woman managed to recover one of her geese when the creature threw it at her, knocking her to the ground in the process. The interloper then escaped with the remaining bird in hand.

The main witness and his wife had bought a ranch in an isolated area in 1975 and for more than a year they had been experiencing strange sounds, UFO manifestations and Bigfoot sightings on the property. There were some cattle mutilations as well.
One night the man and the eldest son went up to the top of a hill to examine a burned spot from the previous year. As they sat in the car, a beam of yellow light shone on them from nearby woods. Walking towards the trees, they discovered a buzzing black box, clearly seen in the light of the full moon. As they approached, it changed tone, now sounding like a swarm of angry bees. The two retreated to the safety of the car. The witness told the young man to stay by the car and went back to the spot where the black box had been; it was now gone. He saw a light in the trees and, walking toward the light, came upon two individuals standing near the light source. As he approached, they spoke to him, saying “How nice of you to come.” Some distance away, down a slope, was a disk, illuminated, about 50 or 60 feet away. The two beings apologized for the trouble they had caused, promising a more equitable arrangement. They told him several things he was not to repeat, but which had no special meaning for him at the time. They regretted damage done to several of the cars, but they did not acknowledge responsibility for any of the local cattle mutilations. They told him he was wise to have backed off from the black box, which was nearby. They pointed in a particular direction and the tone on the box changed; as it did, a Bigfoot type creature got up off the ground and walked toward the box. The tone changed and the creature dropped. The meeting lasted five minutes.
In appearance the beings were similar, human looking about 5’6″ in height, and wearing a tight fitting outfit like a flight uniform. The suits changed colors from brown to silver. Their complexions were fair and they had blond hair, not long. The most notable features were the eyes, which were very large but otherwise normal looking. They were different in subtle ways but could pass as humans in ordinary situations. Before the witness walked away from the scene he was told by the beings that he would see them again.

University scientists explore ethical, social implications of encountering alien life
Members of the University of Arizona’s faculty and staff recently published a book in which they speculate about extraterrestrial life and the potential moral and ethical implications of encountering such life.
University of Arizona (UA) scientists compiled and edited a collection of works by astronomers, philosophers, and biologists, which makes up the new book Encountering Life in the Universe: Ethical Foundations and Social Implications of Astrobiology. Its description on Amazon.com explains that the book
examines the intersection of scientific research and society to further explore the ethics of how to behave in a universe where much is unknown. Taking contributions from notable experts in several fields, the editors skillfully introduce and develop a broad look at the moral questions facing humans on Earth and beyond.
According to UANews, the idea for the book stemmed from a UAconference held in 2008 on the ethical implications of astrobiology. Revealing the impetus for the book, one of its editors, Chris Impey, UA distinguished professor and deputy head of the UA Department of Astronomy and Steward Observatory, explains, “We wanted to recognize that if we find life elsewhere it’s not just going to be a second version of biology, it’s going to raise a whole set of other issues . . . For example, do we have the right to mine or alter other worlds? Do we have the right to mess up our own planet?”
UANews describes that, in the book, Contributing authors discuss questions of how to behave in the universe, how we should treat inhabitants of other planets if or when we reach them, whether or not we have a right to make use of their resources, and perhaps most importantly, how will we relate to other life forms, intelligent or otherwise, if we encounter them?
So when do these researchers believe life will be discovered elsewhere in the universe? Impey explains, “I’ve asked as many researchers in this field as I can, what do they really think . . . And most of them say within five to 10 years we’ll probably find life elsewhere.”

UFOlogy and young people
I’ve often spoken at UFO conferences – particularly in America – where you could count on one hand the number of people in the audience under the age of 20. So where are all the young people and how can they be attracted to ufology?
To be fair, some people in the UFO community have done some hard thinking about this problem and have come up with some good theories about why comparatively few young people are getting actively involved. These theories include a lack of attractive role models (NBthe point in the final paragraph), the failure of the UFO community to adequately ‘police’ its ranks to weed out charlatans and crazies, and the comparative slowness of UFO organizations and authors to engage with new media, social networking sites, etc.
Debunkers love to say that the lack of young people in ufology reflects a wider truth about the subject: “ufology is dead” is a neat and provocative line that has been regularly trotted out in attempts to generate interest in skeptical magazines or conferences. But it’s a lazy soundbite, and worse than that, it’s a lie. Ufology isn’t dead and the easiest proof of this is the steady stream of new UFO stories in the media and new UFO-related shows on TV. News editors and TV network executives know what people find interesting and entertaining (from getting feedback on media stories, studying ratings, conducting market research, etc.), and only continue to push this subject because they know it’s popular – across all age demographics.
There are other indicators that young people are interested in UFOs and extraterrestrials. The popularity of sci-fi moviesand video games incorporating these themes is a case in point, and while there’s a debate to be had about the exact nature of the relationship between these subjects, it’s clear that there’s some degree of crossover. So why don’t many of the young people interested in sci-fi and video games get involved in ufology? Perhaps the answer here is to turn the question around, and ask what ufology does to attract them. The answer to this question, I believe, is “not much”. Indeed, there’s a certain aloofness about the UFO community’s stance towards sci-fi and video games. I’ve witnessed this first hand.
Aside from the work I do as an author, journalist and broadcaster who covers UFOs, the unexplained and conspiracy theories, I’m a sci-fi writer and someone who contributes to various TV shows about the sci-fi genre. I’ve also worked with various film companies to promote Hollywood sci-fi movies such as The X-Files: I Want to Believe, and the modern remakes of War of the Worlds and The Day the Earth Stood Still. While many ufologists like sci-fi, the aloofness that I mentioned comes into play too. It’s as if ufologists are saying “science fiction is fine, but it’s just make-believe. This stuff is real”. A fair enough point of view, but it’s the slightly patronizing way that it comes across that’s the problem. It’s a two-way street, of course, and plenty of sci-fi enthusiasts regard ufology with disdain and say things like “we know this is fiction and have fun with it, but you people are crazy to think it’s real, and take yourselves far too seriously”. These ‘quotes’ are made up, but are a fair distillation of things I’ve heard from both ‘sides’.
Few things illustrate the problem more than the UFO community’s reaction to the gaming community. Again, I speak from experience here, having worked on the promotion of some alien invasion-themed video games such as Resistance: Burning Skies, XCOM: Enemy Unknown and – most recently – The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. As part of this, I’ve appeared on cult shows such as IGN’s Up at Noon, hosted by Greg Miller, and have been interviewed by Adam Sessler at Rev3. Those people in the UFO community who aren’t ‘gamers’ have probably never heard of these games, shows and personalities. And that’s the problem. Because there’s a whole bunch of young people out there who love these games and might just take a look at ufology, if the UFO community reached out to them. But again, the aloofness I mentioned kicked in, and when I went on these shows and had genuine opportunities to interest the gaming community in ufology, some people in the UFO community reacted with horror and accused me of trivializing the subject. When I checked what comments these sorts of interviews were generating (from gamers) on YouTube, it was clear that many were fascinated by the UFO phenomenon and wanted to find out more. But instead of regarding what I was doing as an opportunity, some ufologists seemed to take the view that I was ‘sleeping with the enemy’.
Few would disagree that ufology needs to make itself more relevant and attractive to young people, and get more young people actively involved. In the sci-fi and gaming communities, there are many young people who might relatively easily be attracted to the subject. Yet at the moment, it seems to be a case of “East is East, and West is West, and never the twain shall meet”.
On a related issue, a disproportionate number of speakers at UFO conferences are white males (usually middle-aged, or older) wearing suits. Ufology is hardly the only field where this is the case, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t an issue that should be looked at. But this, perhaps, is a topic for another day.

Voor energiewetenschappers moet kernfusie zo’n beetje de heilige graal zijn, zeker de koude kernfusie.
Kernfusie levert namelijk een ongekend rendement zonder vervelende rest- of bijproducten als radioactief afval, CO2 of zwaveldioxide. Daarbij komt dat de brandstof voor kernfusie zo goed als onuitputtelijk en zeer goedkoop is.
Voor kernfusie zijn echter omstandigheden nodig als in de kern van een ster: extreem hoge temperaturen en een enorme druk.
Laserstralen
Wetenschappers van het Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory nabij San Francisco hebben een technologische doorbraak bereikt die cruciaal is voor het succes van kernfusiereactoren.
De zon en andere sterren wekken hun energie op door kernfusie. In dit geval wordt waterstof omgezet in helium. Kernfusie wordt gezien als een schonere en goedkopere energiebron dan bijvoorbeeld kernenergie of fossiele brandstof. Uranium is niet onbeperkt voorradig en radioactief afval moet worden opgeslagen. Bij kernfusie komen ook geen schadelijke stoffen vrij.
De onderzoekers vuurden 192 laserstralen af op een gouden cilinder met een klein balletje gevuld met brandstof: deuterium en tritium, twee isotopen van waterstof. Als gevolg van de energie van de lasers werd het balletje ineengedrukt waardoor een extreem hoge druk ontstond en de atomen samensmolten.
Verbetering
Kernfusie is alleen de moeite waard als er meer energie vrijkomt dan er wordt verbruikt. Dat is nu voor het eerst gelukt. Het mengsel produceerde tijdens het experiment meer energie dan het absorbeerde van de lasers, maar de brandstof verbruikte slechts één procent van alle energie die werd geproduceerd door de lasers. Er is dus nog veel ruimte voor verbetering.
Elders werken groepen wetenschappers aan een andere benadering, één waarbij gebruikt wordt gemaakt van magnetische velden en superheet waterstof. Sinds 2006 werken Europa, Rusland, de Verenigde Staten, Japan, China, India en Zuid-Korea aan een grote experimentele reactor in Zuid-Frankrijk, die in 2018 operationeel moet zijn.

In de Amerikaanse staat Arizona wordt op dit moment een grote conventie over UFO’s gehouden. Naar verwachting zullen zo’n 2500 mensen aanwezig zijn. Nog nooit waren er zoveel bezoekers.
Onder de bezoekers zijn mensen die naar eigen zeggen buitenaards zijn. Er zijn ook wetenschappers die zeggen bewijs te hebben gevonden voor buitenaards leven.
“Sommige buitenaardsen zijn roze, maar je hebt ook wezens van goud,” zei één van de aanwezigen. “Je hebt buitenaardsen die eruitzien als kleine grijze wezens met grote zwarte ogen, maar veel soorten zien eruit als mensen. Ik ben een hybride. Deels mens, deels buitenaards.”
Art Campbell schreef een boek over zijn beleving van een crash in Santa Gusta. Hij zegt een buitenaards orgaan in zijn bezit te hebben. “Voor zover wij weten bestaat het uit polyetheen. We denken dat het een orgaan is.

Witnesses in Missouri and California reporting separate events on February 11, 2014, both describe helicopters chasing UFOs, according to testimony today in cases 54029 and 54034 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
A Missouri witness in Lone Jack was watching television at 6:01 p.m. Central Time, February 11, 2014, when the sound of a “loud helicopter thundering” overhead was heard. He immediately moved to a window facing south and looked outside.
“I saw a black military attack helicopter hauling ass just over my house at or below 300 feet from my roof top,” the witness stated.
But then the witness noticed a second object in the sky.
“It was going east to west and then immediately turned south towards a thin, dark gray, disk object that had a white light modulating from it. The disk appeared less than a mile away heading north when it was as if the helicopter spooked it and it simply made an abrupt left turn heading northwest at an amazing speed towards Kansas City, Missouri.”
The witness observed that the military helicopter was not able to catch up to the disc-shaped object.
“With the black military attack helicopter turning very hard 'almost vertical' around heading northwest in pursuit of it – whatever the object was – it definitely had the ability to out run the military helicopter and disappeared from sight.”
Then two hours and 24 minutes later – in Anaheim, California – a witness was inside at a computer at 6:25 p.m. Pacific Time on February 11, 2014, when the sound of a loud helicopter was heard. The witness ran outside to a backyard facing west.
“I saw that the ground in the backyard was lit up pretty good,” the witness stated. “I say 'lit up' because it was dark out and we have a patio cover so the sky is somewhat blocked.”
But the witness was surprised to see two objects moving overhead.
“As I went out the sliding back door to my right I immediately saw an orb-like, star-shining object that was being chased by a helicopter.”
The witness watched the scene.
“The helicopter did have its search light on so I'm guessing that's what the light was. So when I looked up I didn't even see the helicopter at first – all I saw was a bright white orb and then the helicopter. That's how low the two were. I viewed the helicopter chasing the orb (orb made no noise) from the west going toward the east.”
The witness was fascinated with the objects.
“I was in awe on just how low these two were in the sky and on how the orb was just so bold and solid and brilliant. It was like a star passing by right in front of me. The helicopter had its blinking red and white lights on with the search light, but when the helicopter shined the light on the orb, it kept going out, or so it seemed.”
The witness watched both objects move off into the distance.
“I viewed these two flying toward the east, way off into the distance, and kept viewing for as long as I could when the orb suddenly disappeared for 2 to 4 seconds and then reappeared for another 20 seconds and then disappeared again.”
MUFON receives reports every year from around the country where a military jet or helicopter appears to be following or chasing a UFO.
“These types of incidents are certainly something we watch for,” said MUFON Executive Director Jan C. Harzan, reached today at his Newport Beach, CA, headquarters office. “Some of the more important historical UFO events include a military presence. And in a small number of cases nationally, we do have reports where a witness will encounter a UFO and then see what appears to be a military jet or helicopter coming into the same airspace. Witnesses in these cases typically report that the military vehicle appears to be chasing the UFO. It is definitely something we watch for because it supports the reality that we believe the U.S. government still investigates UFOs.”
Lone Jack is a city in Jackson County, MO, population 1,050. The Missouri incident was Case 54029. Missouri has a UFO Alert Rating of 4 with a higher than average number of recent reports. Missouri was the 10th highest reporting state with 19 reports in January 2014 - while California had 102 reports - the highest reporting state in the nation. Anaheim is a city in Orange County, CA, population 336,265. The California incident was Case 54034. No images or videos were included with either case.

This week's dose of the paranormal takes us into the unknown in the skies above us as HPI international investigates UFO sightings and oddities in the heavens above us. For those that believe we are alone in the universe; open your eyes and minds.
The story can’t be verified for authenticity, but it is still a story that should be told. Take a seat and let me tell you this bizarre tale of strangeness.
I receive a call from a young man named Johnny. Johnny does not want his full name in this article, nor does he want to let you know where the incident occurred. He will let you know that the incident happened somewhere in the Midwest. Four years ago, Johnny and his friend Tyler were in a secluded area camping. The area is lush meadows and surrounding trees in the distance. On the night they were camping, there were mid-level Cumulus clouds, perhaps 6,500 feet high from the ground.
ufo sightings 2Johnny and Tyler heard a rumbling noise in the sky. Tyler’s eyes started flickering and he completely passed out. Johnny tried to revive his friend, but he was out cold and then he noticed what appeared to be a large white panel truck in the sky! The large white panel truck was huge. If you were to place 2 large Hummers together, it was the size of two large Hummers in width and in length. The white panel truck seemed to have a huge panel door on the side, large windows in front and 4 wheels and it was driving on top of the mid-level Cumulus clouds! There was a large bright light that seemed to chase it.
Johnny was affixed to this object and finally to his surprise the object descended from the clouds and landed in the meadow. Right behind it came the bright light and the bright light turned into what looked like a Space Shuttle!
At this time, I was ready to hang up on Johnny, because I thought this story was absolutely bizarre and it was hard for me to fathom that this story had any credibility to it. But, I decided to hang on, because the story was fascinating to say the least.
Johnny was compelled to go towards the large white panel truck. He could not resist walking towards this strange flying machine that has a Space Shuttle parked at its rear. Johnny remembers looking into the window of the large white panel truck and he could make out the driver/pilot. The driver/pilot had a US space suit on and as he peered through the window into the driver/pilot’s head gear he saw what he describes as a Grey with large black oval eyes. The driver/pilot of this vehicle started waving his arms frantically and Johnny stepped back from the large white panel truck and it ascended into the sky with the space shuttle following. As it reached the clouds both objects blinked into nothingness.
Johnny went to the campfire and discovered that the campfire was out. The wood was completely burned and now smoldering. Johnny was confused, because the fire should have kept burning, it was only perhaps 40 minutes that passed during the sighting. Tyler awakened and asked what happened. Johnny and Tyler were also shocked that the sun was now rising. Johnny claims that the area has a lot of UFO activity, black helicopters and some cattle mutilations. Johnny also claims that at the age of 10 that he may have been abducted. He has flashbacks of buzzing sounds, bright lights and being stared at by big black eyes.
The only reason why I take some credence to Johnny’s story is that UFOs have been known to morph into other objects. Here are some possible cases and stories:
UFOS TRANSFORM INTO AIRSHIPS:
From 1896 to 1897, thousands of people witnessed ‘airships’, when there were no airships in existence. The first airship was spotted over Sacramento, California on November 17, 1896. The airship looked like a Goodyear blimp and there were no Goodyear blimps in 1896. Could UFOs have disguised their ships to look like airships, so that citizens would not be alarmed?
UFOS TRANSFORM INTO BLACK HELICOPTERS:
Some Ufologists make claim that UFOs can project images to deceive witnesses. Case example where witnesses watch a typical saucer shaped UFO morph into a black helicopter. Could UFOs use projected holograms to disguise their craft to conceal themselves from potential witnesses? A famous projected hologram by a UFO could have happened at the Miracle of Fatima where gatherers closest to the 3 children saw a projected image of a ‘lady’, while gatherers furthest from the children saw a dancing sun (possible UFO).
Since there are cases in which UFOs play ‘Transformers’ to the witnesses, I was compelled to tell Johnny’s story and let you the reader be the judge.
I was driving along highway 39 out of Klamath falls, As I was entering the town of Merrill when I noticed a pure bright white pointy edged kind of rectangular light emanating from an object (to me seemed to perfect of a light to be a kitchen window light) silhouetted by the houses behind it in a field about 50-60 feet away from me off the main road.
Although it was dark out still I could make out a pie plate shaped object about 20 feet in diameter with a sort of dip missing from one side. It was on that side I noticed more than two but no more than four smaller persons around it. I got the impression they were working, I did not pay too much attention to them as I slowed to make out what I was looking at. Suddenly I got a stabbing feeling in me the people around the object were alarmed I had noticed them and now I was staring. I could not make them out because of the dark but I thought maybe they were a mix of children and teens or possibly women because of the height and frame, they stopped what ever it was they were doing and stood still. I entered town and lost sight temporarily.
I was driving a u-haul truck and towing a car trailer, It was difficult but I made a u-turn to take a longer look at this weird object. when I returned after a time lapse of maybe 3 min. tops most likely less, It was no longer there only a kind of haze or fog remained. I scanned the sky hanging my head out the window. I noticed a blinking red beacon for aircraft like the kind all over the area on mountains and towers. This beacon was about maybe 50 feet above a closed sore or business, I stared at it realizing nothing was holding this “Beacon” up, Like it was trying to mock the other beacons all over the area. The flashing stopped then red and white lights came on all around the outside of the craft then began to go around the circumference of it in sequence, white then red then white… I knew it was definitely a disk at that point.
The front (or what i assume was the front) tilted downward about 20 degrees and began to slowly fly off at a casual helicopter speed. I assume in order to throw me off by mocking a helicopter now. This made me laugh because it was nothing like a helicopter. I listened intently for any noise as it made no noticeable sound at all. First it flew south east, Then about a mile away from me it changed direction toward where I estimate MT. Shasta is from my spot along the road where I had parked, Then continuing at the same speed flew out of sight from me. At that point I drove around a bit investigating the edge of town where the craft was landed, I noticed a couple of things I considered strange that may or may not have relevance to the sighting.
Like a man in the house closest to the landing site sitting in front of a large pain window with no blinds being completely oblivious to my accidentally getting a giant truck stuck on his front lawn when I attempted another u-turn, Almost as if he were some kind of hypnotized or something. I continued on my way. Once I got to the wooded area of the drive by the Lava flows monument my truck lost power and slowed almost to a stop for no apparent reason at all. Most of my attempts to make calls or texts were stopped short by no signal in areas signal has never been a problem for me. I felt both watched and not alone the rest of my drive to Reno and occasionally still feel watched and not alone even as recently as this morning.
Since I have felt weary to be alone outside in the early morning dark, I don’t understand why when I wasn’t frightened by the event. My new camera that unfortunately didn’t have battery’s at the time this happened does not work anymore even after I replaced the battery’s a couple times. It makes me think this thing somehow broke it.
This section explores the myth of the MIB(Men In Black). It is mainly based on my MIB research regarding incidents after 1976 in England.
Part 1: The making of the myth
Many seem to feel it was divisions of the USAF that created the MIB myth, but this could not be further from the truth. There is strong evidence to suggest that MIB have been co-existing with us, since we care to remember and this leads one to ask why there was ever such a need. The actual basis of their origin lies deep within the recesses of the UFO witness, as research suggests that MIB normally make an appearance after somebody has witnessed a UFO. This has often led me to believe whether the ability to see a UFO, brings out the MIB from their hiding, forced to contemplate the inevitable that their hidden origin will be revealed one day. However this is even harder to believe when faced with the MIB themselves; a shocking confrontation whereby the witness is unsure of how to act, due to the weirdness being exhibited by the strange guests. The actual name Men in black is misleading, as there have been sightings reported to me of Females in black; this may lead one to think that maybe they do possess some Alien origin, capable of taking on any form they like.
I tend to back away from the alien hypothesis mainly due to my consistent analysis of English cases pre 1976, which tend to emphasis a more direct link with military, normally RAF or MoD. Looking at American reports seem to emphasise a more alien account, and it is here when the issue becomes confusing. It would surely be a lot easier for the government to make use of the MIB, instead of spending copious amounts of time and money necessary for carrying out such widespread operations against people seeing lights in the sky. However there is clear evidence, which will be discussed later on, in which witnesses to UFO’s or even top secret government projects have been severely harassed. Much has been born out of this myth, and I feel that around the 1960′s, the US government was able to use some of the personnel from the Air Force Special Activities Centre(AFSAC), and ‘disguise’ them as MIB. Even Mothman(see The Mothman Prophecies by John A. Keel) was part of the MIB myth, and thus their identity becomes ever more tightly kept due to the natural progression that we do nothing to halt proceedings; MIB are natural to human folklore.
Part 2: Common characteristics of the modern day MIB
While most MIB reports tend to highlight the fact that MIB may be of some oriental origin, the detraction is made through the association that MIB always come in threes. Is this irrelevant? Why? Maybe due to the fact that transmogrification takes place, and size/quantity/appearance is irrelevant, in that what you see is what you get, but not necessarily what you want! The classic conception of an MIB is a man of indefinite age, medium height and dressed completely in black. He always has a black hat and often a black turtleneck sweater. They present an appearance often described as “strange” or “odd”. They speak in a dull monotone voice, “like a computer”, and are dark; complete with high cheekbones, thin lips, pointed chin, and eyes that tend to look oriental like. Often when quizzed as to who they are, they say they are salesman, telephone repairman(even though your phone is not broken) or representatives from official(ie RAF) groups or an unofficial UFO group. Their mode of transport differs whether you are in America or England. In America they are often seen driving Buicks or Lincolns(black); it seems to be only the films that portray the MIB using black cadillacs. In England, the cars are normally Jaguars. It is also important to state that not all reports of MIB are that describing a meeting with men of oriental features; some have included men with very Aryan features, with distinguishing blond hair.
A classic MIB case could be highlighted by the 1978 West Kirby case in Liverpool, England. Here the witness JW has described the classic features of the MIB, and seems to suggest some ulterior motive as to why they came in the first place. It seems usual; JW had seen a UFO, and was shortly visited by two men in black (more men were seen sitting in the car), one of which confronted JW, a teenager at the time. “You’d better run on home” said one of the men. The other man who was with our witness said “It’s alright he is with me”, and they both then walked away from the men in vehicles. Our witness described the man who got out of the car as dressed in dark blue or black, and stranger still, he appeared to be wearing makeup in the form of lip foundation. This has occurred before(lipstick on MIB), but mainly in American reports(e.g. 1976 Maine). If this was not strange enough JW has no memory of the man’s lips moving as he was talking. The descriptions that he gives is remarkably similar to other accounts since the 1950′s of the men in black. The MIB’s are renowned for visiting UFO witnesses and are often keen in trying to encourage the witness to say nothing of their account. Also many MIB reports state that the men were wearing large hats(often too big for them), however the 1978 West Kirby MIB, had no such headgear.
A case that has come of light fairly recently, is that of William Shearer, whose case is being thoroughly investigated by Ufology and Supernatural Studies(01206 286543-Paul Joslin), led by Barbara Fennell and Paul Southcott. On Monday 19th January 1997(4 days after his UFO incident in Essex) Shearer had returned from work and gone to bed as usual. His wife and daughter had popped out, so he had the house to himself. Unable to settle, he came downstairs for a drink, and thought he heard a faint knock at the door. Sure enough, as Shearer approached the door he could see the outline of a tall man through the glass. Shearer opened the door and was faced with a strange sight. The man was around 6’4″, and dressed in a dark grey suit and full length coat. He wore a brilliant white shirt(many other reports have suggested that MIB wear a ‘new’ type of fabric) and a red tie, and was holding a brimmed hat. Another similarly dressed man was standing behind Shearers’ wife’s car, and appeared to be looking up and down the road, as if to see if anyone was coming. The first man said “Can I speak to you please?” His voice was very deep, and seemed to Shearer to be coming from his chest rather than his mouth. At this stage, the man’s gaze was lowered to the floor so Shearer could not see his face. Shearer assumed the men were Jehovah’s Witnesses and replied “No, I’m not dressed”. The man persisted, and asked again to speak to Shearer, who again declined and asked him to come back later. When the man lifted his head and looked straight at Shearer his first impression was that the man was very ill, as he looked deathly pale. In contrast, the stranger’s lips seemed to be tinged red, as if he were wearing lipstick (how can they get it so wrong for so long??). Again the man spoke, this time asking to come in. Shearer stood his ground. After to looking at the second man, the first finally relented and said okay, they would be back later. On reflection, Shearer states that it was “almost as if the two men were talking to each other, but I couldn’t hear them” as the second man kept looking at the first and either nodding or gesturing in some way. The men walked towards their car – which was black and according to Shearer “like something straight out of a gangster movie, yet it looked brand new”.
Throughout many of the MIB reports I have studied many MIB car number plates are never traceable, and many never existed in the first place – what are the chances of making up a number plate and it being the only one in existence? Shearer also noticed that the men walked awkwardly, as if they were suffering from arthiritis. Shearer was only convinced that these men were the infamous MIB when told by Paul Southcott of USS, until which time he was adamant that they were religious types. On 12th February, Shearer received another visit, this time while he was at work. He got to meet with the MIB at 1:15 am when he heard a knock on the door. The MIB were slightly smaller than the one he had spoken to before, and Shearer immediately knew it was the one standing by his wife’s car on their previous visit. Again he was dressed in the dark suit and coat and wore a hat. This time the MIB asked to speak to Shearer by name, and specified that they wanted to talk to him about his UFO sighting, giving exact date and times. Shearer was baffled as to where he had got this information, but refused to let him in. Shearer asked for the mans name and ID, but the MIB ignored him and repeatedly asked to come in. Shearer states that it was almost as if the MIB could only utter a selection of set phrases, since he kept repeating the same questions over and over again, ignoring Shearer’s own questions. On this occasion, Shearer was able to get a closer look at the MIB’s face, and realised he had no facial hair at all – no eyebrows, eyelashes, or signs of stubble. The visit lasted for about two minutes, and then the office phone rang. Shearer turned to pick up the phone to hold, and turned back, the MIB was gone
Since the night of Shearer’s sighting, all the video equipment in his office building has been malfunctioning for no apparent reason. Since the MIB visits, Shearer has had problems with his phone lines(very very common in reports both in America and England). Clicking sounds can be heard on calls he receives after 4pm, and on many occasions he will pick up the phone only to find out there is no-one at the other end. British Telecom are at a loss, so they say. On the 26th March 1997, Shearer’s phone, was completely out of order. No other lines in the area were affected. At the time of writing, he is still waiting for an explanation from BT.
Part 3: MIB & Black helicopters
Occasion permits oneself to see some sort of connection between the Men In Black and these mysterious black helicopters that seem to be plaguing our skies, but it is far more complex than the colour match! If we are to presume an existence that is ‘alien’ to us but having a connection with earth far greater than we could imagine, we start to understand a little of the origin of what I like to refer to as the “original MIB”. The same sort of theories are being attached to reasons behind the appearance of unmarked dull grey/green/black helicopters, mysteriously hovering over people’s back gardens. A number of reports state that witnesses who have caught a glimpse of the pilots of these strange craft are that of oriental origin, and thus a familiar pattern starts to build up. But this shows now direct correlation, until we look at the behaviour and timing of the black helicopter sightings.
We know that MIB are notorious for making an appearance after someone believes they have seen a UFO, and it is from this we can understand a little behind this timing of events and the occurrence of the black helicopters – the majority of mysterious helicopter sightings suggest that the primary witness has seen a UFO, but what must be determined is how ‘knowledge’ of these facts are ‘leaked’ out. The co-existence theory explains a little as to how the MIB can be so knowledgeable about a primary witness(for example, MIB have been known to recall memories that only the witness would have known), but this is where a sharp dividing line is drawn when looking for similarities between the MIB and black helicopter sightings. What has been seen is some form of remote viewing being associated with the helicopters gaining ‘special’ information; more precisely this can be broken down when hearing witnesses explaining seeing one of these helicopters while at the same time having files downloaded from her computer. Is there a connection, and if so how can this be determined? What is more pleasing to the researcher is the fact that we see some need being built up between the two ‘organisations’ if you like, to gain this special information and it is this that ties the two phenomena together. It is receipt of this knowledge that enables the MIB to gain such a superior advantage over their human counterparts. Without the ability to ‘co-exist’ and being able to listen but be seen only when it suits them, the MIB would not be associated with UFO phenomena to such a large extent. It is in essence the very basis of their unknown quantity that allows them to stay as outsiders, but involved in everything we do. One must stop short of trying to empathise with something that will never be fully understood and perhaps try to concentrate on the knowledge we do have about the MIB.

Farmer William Bosak, 68, had what he termed as a hair-raising experience December 2, 1974. As he was driving home, he spotted an object on the left side of the road ahead of him. “It had a curved front of glass and inside I could see a figure with its arms raised above its head.”
Farmer William Bosak, 68, of rural Frederic, Wisconsin (Polk County, Northwest Section), had what he termed as a hair-raising experience at 10:30 p.m. on December 2, 1974. Mr. Bosak had attended a Fanner’s Co-op meeting in Frederic and was driving to his rural home southeast of Frederic when, about one mile from his farm, he spotted an object on the left side of the road ahead of him. He had been driving slowly because of patches of fog and his headlights reflected off the object so he slowed as he approached it.
“It had a curved front of glass and inside I could see a figure with its arms raised above its head,” Bosak told reporters. When later interviewed by Field Investigator Everett E. Lightner, Bosak said that the newspaper account which appeared in the St. Paul Pioneer-Press was basically accurate except that the ears on the “human” he saw inside were placed higher on the head. (See drawing accompanying this article.)
The object was standing still and appeared to be between 8 and 10 feet in height. The transparent ‘glass’ area through which Bosak could view the occupant was bullet-shaped at the top, or tapered to a peak. He had slowed nearly to a stop when he came up to the object, but then fear took over and he stepped on the accelerator and left the object behind. He said that when he did so, the inside of his car became dark and he heard a swishing sound like branches of a tree brushing against the car.
The “human,” as Bosak referred to it, had hair sticking out from the sides of its head with ears protruding out about three inches and they were shaped like a calf’s ear. It had no collar or shirt with seam in front but appeared to be clothed in something tannish-brown in color and fitted (skin-tight) like a diver’s suit. Both arms were extended above its head and hair stuck out from the outside of the arms. There was no beard, but there was hair or fur on the upper part of the body. The rest of it, from the waist down, was not visible because of the fog. The object itself was not lighted, but reflected light from the headlights of Mr. Bosak’s car.
Mr. Bosak returned to the location, the next morning, to search for any landing marks or evidence of its presence but found nothing. He said he was very frightened at the time, but the look on the face of the occupant of the craft indicated that it was frightened too. Its eyes were very large and protruding.
Bosak kept the experience to himself for nearly a month, not even telling his wife and son but finally decided to divulge the incident. A later (that night) attempt to view the area where the incident had occurred from the vantage point of his house was unsuccessful due to the fog. “I was so goldarned scared I was afraid to go out at night for a few days,” he told reporters later, and said he wished that he had had somebody with him in the car, at the time. After reflecting on the experience for a few weeks, Bosak said that he felt he did the wrong thing by speeding away from the object and “should have stopped and tried to show it I was friendly. I wish I could meet up with it again.”
Bosak, who has operated a 450-acre dairy farm east of Frederic for the past 40 years, said that prior to his frightening experience in December, he had been skeptical of stories about UFOs. “And I’m sure a lot of people are going to be skeptical after hearing what happened to me. But if people don’t believe me, I’ll take a lie detector test to prove this isn’t just something I made up.”
Mr. Lightner, who investigated the case, found Bosak to be sincere and a man with a good reputation in his community.
Crash and abduction? The Penrose “encounter” England, 1954
Location. Between Derby & Burton, Derbyshire England Date: May 13 1954 Time: 2230 On May 12 1954 at approximately 2000 Chief Petty Officer H. R. Penrose visited a public house in Derbyshire where he met a man with whom he got into conversation about his motorcar, a black Vauxhall Wyvern saloon which was about a year old. The man said he would like to buy it and made a very reasonable offer. Cdr. Penrose was undecided, however, and said he would think the thing over before meeting him in the same public house the following evening. Meeting as arranged the next evening, he told his acquaintance that he was still undecided, whereupon he was invited to the man’s house for tea. When they got there they found a sit-down meal prepared for them by the man’s wife. Cdr. Penrose remembers thinking they were an ordinary English couple, although a little smaller than average. After chatting awhile he told his hosts that he had decided against selling the car, and he then took his leave at about 2230. His journey home took him along the main Derby-Burton Road, in the direction of Birmingham. Suddenly, he said, a bright light appeared, heading towards him. He describes what followed: “As it reached my position I experienced what seemed to be a crash and I was thrown forward against the windscreen. Then the car seemed to be lifted from the ground and I was moving through the air with a bright light above me. The next thing I remember was when I recovered consciousness in the Derbyshire Royal Infirmary where I had had stitches in a cut in my forehead.” The commander went on: “I remembered a strange occurrence which must have taken place immediately after my crash. At that moment the car was perched on some iron railings, and I recollect being lifted from it by a man in a one-piece suit. He seemed to lift me effortlessly into an entrance on the underside of a large round vehicle which was hovering above us and giving out a bright light.” Cdr. Penrose says he was taken into a room which had controls in it and other, similarly dressed “men” were operating these. These were male and female beings—distinguishable by their shapes—who had similar short hair styles, and whose facial expressions “did not appear unusual.” The witness says he was asked questions about his naval experiences and his work with radar, while he countered with questions about their vehicle and its associated engineering. He also suggests that the method of communication between them was of a “telepathic nature,” and adds that when he attempted some hypnotic regression, to which they seemed to ‘become very confused’ a woman injected some green fluid into his arm after which he remembered no more. When questioned by police officers after the accident Cdr. Penrose says he was aware that a passing RAC driver had found him concussed, sitting in the driving seat of his car, perched on railings by the entrance of the Hilton Gravel Works. After his discharge from the hospital, and puzzled by the event, he returned to the scene of the accident hoping to trace witnesses. His only success in this respect was to find a railway signalman who said he’d seen the car, with an extremely bright light above it, go past his signal box, and at about the same level. It was also learned that he was kept in hospital for “some months” following the incident, his injuries being cuts on the top of his head and about the face. He also suffered some loss of memory. After leaving the hospital he took one of the nurses out socially as a gesture of thanks for looking after him. He discovered from her that a senior police officer had attempted to interview him while he was in hospital, but was refused permission to do so by the doctors. He learned too that the police interest arose from the abnormally large amount of blood in the vehicle. This, it seems, was far more than could have been expected from the type of injuries sustained by Commander Penrose, and it was thought that another person may have been in the car. However Penrose was adamant that he was alone in the car.
C'est vrai qu'il y a peu de nouvelles importantes actuellement, à part les déclarations sensationnelles du Canadien Paul Hellyer, cent fois répétées, et probable désinfo amplifiante, mais on continue à enregistrer pas mal d'observations à travers le monde. Récemment, l'Américain Peter Davenport, qui continue à recueillir ces observations tous les jours, a signalé une forte augmentation en janvier, de l'ordre de 600 cas au lieu de 2 à 300 habituellement. On peut s'en faire une idée, par exemple, en lisant le bulletion du Major Filer "Filer's File" , publié tous les huit à dix jours. On peut le recevoir gratuitement sur internet.
Une nouvelle quand même, pour la francophonie : le livre de Leslie Kean "OVNIS. Des généraux, des pilotes et des officiels parlent" est enfin paru en librairie. Cela va-t-il susciter un petit buzz médiatique ? J'ai bien peur que non, vu l'ambiance actuelle de scepticisme et de ricanements tous azimuths.Bof ! Rigolons plutôt en écoutant grand journal de Canal Plus. Mais c'est pourtant cette chaîne qui a fait un bon reportage (qui repassait encore samedi dernier sur la petite chaîne Numéro 23 : "Ovnis Quand l'armée enquête"). Donc ce n'est pas "joué" dans les médias.

Witnesses in Missouri and California reporting separate events on February 11, 2014, both describe helicopters chasing UFOs, according to testimony today in cases 54029 and 54034 from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
A Missouri witness in Lone Jack was watching television at 6:01 p.m. Central Time, February 11, 2014, when the sound of a “loud helicopter thundering” overhead was heard. He immediately moved to a window facing south and looked outside.
“I saw a black military attack helicopter hauling ass just over my house at or below 300 feet from my roof top,” the witness stated.
But then the witness noticed a second object in the sky.
“It was going east to west and then immediately turned south towards a thin, dark gray, disk object that had a white light modulating from it. The disk appeared less than a mile away heading north when it was as if the helicopter spooked it and it simply made an abrupt left turn heading northwest at an amazing speed towards Kansas City, Missouri.”
The witness observed that the military helicopter was not able to catch up to the disc-shaped object.
"With the black military attack helicopter turning very hard 'almost vertical' around heading northwest in pursuit of it - whatever the object was - it definitely had the ability to out run the military helicopter and disappeared from sight."
Then two hours and 24 minutes later - in Anaheim, California - a witness was inside at a computer at 6:25 p.m. Pacific Time on February 11, 2014, when the sound of a loud helicopter was heard. The witness ran outside to a backyard facing west.
"I saw that the ground in the backyard was lit up pretty good," the witness stated. "I say 'lit up' because it was dark out and we have a patio cover so the sky is somewhat blocked."
But the witness was surprised to see two objects moving overhead.
"As I went out the sliding back door to my right I immediately saw an orb-like, star-shining object that was being chased by a helicopter."
The witness watched the scene.
"The helicopter did have its search light on so I'm guessing that's what the light was. So when I looked up I didn't even see the helicopter at first - all I saw was a bright white orb and then the helicopter. That's how low the two were. I viewed the helicopter chasing the orb (orb made no noise) from the west going toward the east."
The witness was fascinated with the objects.
"I was in awe on just how low these two were in the sky and on how the orb was just so bold and solid and brilliant. It was like a star passing by right in front of me. The helicopter had its blinking red and white lights on with the search light, but when the helicopter shined the light on the orb, it kept going out, or so it seemed."
The witness watched both objects move off into the distance.
"I viewed these two flying toward the east, way off into the distance, and kept viewing for as long as I could when the orb suddenly disappeared for 2 to 4 seconds and then reappeared for another 20 seconds and then disappeared again."
MUFON receives reports every year from around the country where a military jet or helicopter appears to be following or chasing a UFO.
"These types of incidents are certainly something we watch for," said MUFON Executive Director Jan C. Harzan, reached today at his Newport Beach, CA, headquarters office. "Some of the more important historical UFO events include a military presence. And in a small number of cases nationally, we do have reports where a witness will encounter a UFO and then see what appears to be a military jet or helicopter coming into the same airspace. Witnesses in these cases typically report that the military vehicle appears to be chasing the UFO. It is definitely something we watch for because it supports the reality that we believe the U.S. government still investigates UFOs."
Lone Jack is a city in Jackson County, MO, population 1,050. The Missouri incident was Case 54029. Missouri has a UFO Alert Rating of 4 with a higher than average number of recent reports. Missouri was the 10th highest reporting state with 19 reports in January 2014 - while California had 102 reports - the highest reporting state in the nation. Anaheim is a city in Orange County, CA, population 336,265. The California incident was Case 54034. No images or videos were included with either case.
