Men In Black: Bizarre Engagements

The following narratives are a collection of bizarre MIB encounter reports. A few weeks ago, I posted a strange incident involving a postal worker in Washington, DC…which resulted in several inquiries from readers. So I decided to go back and look for a few other notable ‘Men In Black’ accounts, as well include some historical information of the phenomenon:

I was born, raised and continue to live in the mountains of eastern Kentucky. I have experienced various paranormal activity all through my life. This includes UFOs, alien abduction and other activity I attribute to alien beings.

The incident that was the most overwhelming was on the night when Grey aliens came to take me while I was pregnant. I simply wanted no part of this. When they approached me from across the bedroom I jumped up and grabbed one of the two beings by its lean neck. I squeezed as hard as I could until I heard a ‘crack’. It dropped to the floor as its head fell back across the spine.

The other Grey seemed shocked though it was hard to read an expression. It gathered the injured companion and quickly disappeared in bright light that had originally flooded the master bathroom. I felt very bad about that incident but I had been out of sorts all day and I didn’t want to be bothered.

When I was a girl we used to live beside an old cemetery. On some nights I would get the urge to look out my bedroom window. When I did I would notice a tall dark figure that seemed to be watching our house. One evening at dusk while in our yard I was approached by a tall black-cloaked being with a glow coming from its face. It stood and watched me for a few seconds then turned and disappeared.

I have noticed over the years that large dark-colored cars would follow me on occasion. This would happen on highways and mountain roads. My husband and I have also noticed black helicopters flying above us while driving and over our residence.

I saw the video and picture you posted about MIB a few days ago. When I saw the video it shocked me. In July 2006, a strange incident occurred while my daughter and I were sitting on our front porch. I never heard or saw a car, but two of these MIB appeared from around the side of the house and approached us. The pale faced ‘men’ were dressed in black silk suits, white shirts, black ties, and fedora dress hats. They each carried a thin brief case and walked stiffly as they approached. When they reached the steps they stood still and looked at me. My daughter quickly ran into the house. I then looked into the eyes of the MIB nearest me. The color was a vivid lavender and I felt compelled to continue looking. After a few seconds the nearest MIB spoke in a very clear low pitched voice. It asked if we had ‘experienced any unusual activity that I thought that I should report.’ It was an odd question but I quickly said ‘no’. The being then briefly smiled, thanked me for my time. Both MIB turned and walked toward the road and were soon out of sight.

I can’t say that I was scared but I have not had any type of paranormal or alien activity since the MIB visited. I was wondering if people who have had paranormal incidents throughout their life realize the activity ceases after they are visited by MIB? Do these MIB usually appear out of nowhere? MUFON witness report (edited for spelling): “I am an old lady that was startled by someone trying to open my side house door yesterday night. before this happened I have had multiple ufo sightings near my son’s house in Death Valley, California. One incident was when we were driving in the interstate and saw two triangles hovering in the sky and presumed to follow us for about an hour. My son is an avid astronomer and now believes in ufos. I personally don’t but yesterday night around 10:30 p.m I was startled by a door being slammed, my door being shook. I grabbed my camera and took pictures of a man near my curb. I am frighten for my life. I have called my son and he is coming to pick me up tomorrow. I did not call the police because I am afraid of something happening to me. I hear stories of men in black appearing out of nowhere but I always never believed them, as of yesterday, I do now.”

Chapter 14 of Dr. Berthold E. Schwarz’s book UfO-Dynamics: Psychiatric and Psychic Dimensions of the Ufo Syndrome Book 1 contains the story he was told of a very strange Man In Black (MIB) encounter described to him by a Maine physician, Dr. Herbert Hopkins. Shirley Fickett of Portland, Maine, was actually the first researcher to interview Dr. Hopkins about this mysterious and frightening sounding event. Here is her initial report:

“Call From Mrs. Hopkins”

September 12, 1976:

I received a call from Mrs. Hopkins approximately 1:00 p.m. stating that the previous evening her husband Dr. Hopkins had received a visit from an MIB. She was quite shaken and said the Doctor had been told to dispose of all his UFO material.

I visited the home of the Doctor on the above date and stated here is what he related to me.

His wife Madeline had gone to the outdoor movie with an elder son and his wife. Also, without knowing it the Doctor’s younger son and his girlfriend were also at the same outdoor movie. This left the Doctor alone in the house, an occurrence that hadn’t happened for some time.

The Doctor, a spiritualist minister, had just called Etna, Me (spiritual convention is held there). It was about 8:00 p.m. After his call the phone rang. Answering it, a man at the other end stated that he was the Vice President of “N.J. UFO Research Foundation.” He gave no name but said he was a personal friend of Betty and Barney Hill. He had read about the Stephens case in “Official UFO” and wanted to talk to the Doctor about the case. The Doctor invited the man over, giving directions on how to get there to which the man replied he already knew where the Doctor was.

The Doctor put the phone on the hook and went to put the porch light on and the visitor was there immediately. He had asked if he was phoning from the area and he had said yes. (There is no public phone that could deliver him there that fast!)

The Doctor’s thought was “He looks like an undertaker” observing his attire. The derby, black suit, black tie, black shoes, but white shirt. The suit fit the MIB like a dummy in a store. The Doctor noticed particularly the crease in the pants, not a wrinkle!

After greeting the MIB, the Doctor invited him in and the “Man” removed his hat with the Doctor observing that he had no hair, no eye lashes, no eyebrows! His skin was a pure white, his mouth was bright red in contrast. The Doctor asked him to sit down, which he did. “The crease in his trousers intrigued me,” the Doctor stated. “The crease in the knee stood up and looked most artificial.” The MIB spoke in monotone voice. Very articulate, as if he had learned our language but not mastered it! His face was without any wrinkles, nose was small and ears were small and set low.

The MIB asked the Doctor to tell him about the Stephens case and the Doctor complied stating that he had done some hypnosis and learned things that David had no knowledge of. “You made tape recordings,” the MIB said. The Doctor affirmed that this was true.

The MIB then said, “You have two coins in your pocket!” This was correct, the Doctor pulled out a dime and a penny. The MIB (said) “Take one of those and place it in your outstretched palm.” The Doctor complied and looked at the MIB, who told him to “Look at the coin and not me and don’t take your eyes off it!” It was the penny the Doctor held. As he watched, it turned from copper to silver, then to a metallic blue. The Doctor then had difficulty at focusing his eyes upon the coin for there was a fuzzyness about it. The next thing the coin disappeared by fading away. The Doctor says he felt no sensation as this was happening, no vibrations, no tingling, nothing, but his arm did drop down and mustering up strength, he managed to bring it back up and placed it in his lap. Panic then began to build up within him.

While they were talking, the Doctor made an observation. The MIB at one point put his hand to his mouth and when he took it down there was a red stain on his fingertips (as though he were wearing lipstick or something painted on).

After the coin disappeared the Doctor said, “That’s a neat trick, now make it come back!” to which the MIB replied, “Neither you or anyone else on this plane will ever see that coin again.”

The visitor then asked if the Doctor knew why Barney Hill died and the Doctor answered that he understood that he was ill, he was then told it was because Barney knew too much! The Doctor said he understood that Barney died of a heart attack. The MIB speaks, “That is not correct. He did not die of a heart attack. He died because he lost his heart. “just like you lost your coin!” He continued, “If you don’t do as I say, you will die like Barney Hill!”

The Doctor was then told to destroy tape recordings and all correspondence relating to UFOs, to put them out of his mind and not think of them again and the MIB stated that he would know when he did these things.

The visitor asked if the Doctor had recently had problems with the phone and the answer was “yes.” To this he was told, “Well, just think about it.”

The Doctor says that his son recently tried to call four times and it was like the line was dead. Also a patient had said the same after trying 3 times. This sort of thing had been going on.

The MIB said, “You received a letter from Shirley Fickett….destroy it!” The Doctor did this. Also told not to answer it!

Towards the last part of the conversation, the Doctor noticed the MIB’s speech was slowing down, and he terminated the whole thing by saying, “My energy is getting low, must go now, Good bye!” With this, he got up and went to the door with the Doctor observing him going down the stairs with caution, slowly as if he might fall.

As the MIB walked towards the driveway, the Doctor noticed a bright light (as if a car was waiting for him) but he heard no sound, motor, no cars going by, etc. The Doctor then rushed to the kitchen to observe but saw no light except the porch light. The man was no longer visible. Upon this the Doctor then rushed to the front porch and knew the man would have to pass this window to get out of the yard. Still nothing! Upon going immediately outside and observing up and down the street there still was no one to be seen. Nor were there any cars anywhere at that time.

This statement was made to me by a person who was very much in control of himself, very definite on just what occurred and he wanted to relate it in the exact order of its happening. He said he did not have any fear of telling me this, but there was a fright within him about the threat itself.

The Doctor did not notice anything peculiar about the eyes of the MIB. It was the voice. It did not sound mechanical for all of its monotone quality, yet the Doctor stated, “What visited me here was not of this earth!”

He did not call police about threat for he knew what their response would be. He couldn’t understand why he should receive the visit from the MIB for he was skeptical of their existence in the first place and even skeptical about UFOs.

After the man left the Doctor was very shaken and began to pace the floor. That was when he observed the light in the parking lot out in the yard. It was a light that kept shifting around and going off and on. About 4-5 feet off the ground and as large as 10 inches in diameter. It flashed in different places upon coming on, then would go off, etc. In all it must have appeared 6-7-8 times. He did not count it.

While at the movies in one car, the Doctor’s wife (with the elder son and wife) looked out the window to the heavens and observed what she felt might be a UFO hovering. She at the same time felt an anxiety for her husband back home with the desire to return. They stayed for the entire movie although she expressed this desire to her son.

In the other car, at the outside movie, sat the younger son and his girlfriend. For some unknown reason, [son’s girlfriend] was also picking up anxious feelings about the Doctor during their time at the movies.

Upon returning home they found a badly shaken man who had encountered the MIB. The young men suggested they go out to observe the yard for any marks that might have been left. They observed both cars tire marks there. Also there was a strange mark for about 4-5 feet in the middle of the driveway. They didn’t feel this was done by a car since the other wheel would have had to have been too far to one side.

MUFON witness report – Idaho 1952 (unedited): One winter night as I was fast asleep in the west bedroom near the stairs, I was awaken by a strange pulsating hum. Sitting straight up, I turned to the left to see three ghostly figures materialize in the next room as they were approaching my bedside. Please remember that we had no electric and I had never been to a movie or heard a radio show to that point. Two of the creatures looked just like the gray aliens you see in the movies and the one in the center was much taller and looked different. As they got closer they told me to relax and go back to sleep telepathically. The floating sensation I felt helped stop my nervous shaking as I blacked out. The next morning my grandmother met me half way to the kitchen and asks if I was all right. She said that I had sunburn on the left side of my face and looked very tired. in the back seat of the new Buick on our way to the farm I felt compelled to lay down on the floor with my back to the front seat. The telepathic message was like the one I received from the three ghosts. Moments after laying down we t-boned another car on route 13 near Blackbird. Everyone except I was seriously injured and taken to the hospital. The year I believe was 1959 while at the park I noticed about 12 flying saucers to the west of the park. To my great surprise I had a visit the next day while at my friends home that lived around the corner from my grandparents home at 806 Brown St. John’s father answered the door to find two Air Force people in uniform asking to speak with me in private. My mother stood with the Air Force officer to my left and the sergeant stood in front as another man entered the room dressed in black wearing a hat and dark sunglasses. I was asked to tell what I saw as follows: I saw bright round objects mostly in triangular groups of three flying in a manner not like any aircraft known.

They were able to stop and turn on a dime and when they departed to an altitude near space they took off so fast that they appeared To vanish at about a 30 degree angle into space. For the next hour the Air Force guys tried to get me to change my story and I was growing tired of repeating myself. I then parroted back one of the officer’s stories as a way to make them leave. I noticed the officer look up at the guy in black for approval, as I could see the guy in black shake his head left and right. Now I knew I had to convince the guy in black and realized that the officer was taking his orders from him. So I came up with a better idea that got the approval from the big boss in black. The man in black never said a word to me even after asking him direct questions. He then folded his notebook and left followed by my mother and the officer. There are many other strange stories about hard to believe events, but either you believe or not will make no difference.

This is my recorded statement so others like me will take some comfort in knowing that they are not alone?

The Men in Black (MIB) are humans or humanoids who supposedly appear anywhere major UFO sightings or other strange phenomena take place. They have been known to threaten people who have claimed to have seen UFOs and alien beings into not asking about what they witnessed. They wear sunglasses and black suits…usually they have olive complexions. They drive black mint-condition vintage luxury cars or fly in black helicopters. Some say that they are government agents…others claim that they are alien agents.

The first reported occurrence of MIB was traced to Albert K. Bender, the editor of a flying saucer publication called the “Space Review”. In the October 1953 issue he placed an announcement stating that he had come across information that would solve the flying saucer mystery but could not print it because he was ordered not to. He ended the announcement warning others in saucer work to be very cautious. He then stopped publication. Later in an interview Bender stated that three men wearing dark suits had ordered him to stop publishing flying saucer material, and that he had complied with the order because he had been “scared to death” of them. He later published a book called Flying Saucers and the Three Men

In his book, Mystery of the Men in Black: The UFO Silencers, Timothy Beckley has attempted to provide an overview of important and representative MIB encounters. According to Beckley, MIB have been with us for many hundreds of years, speculating that such diverse characters from the history of witchcraft and folklore as the Elizabethan “Black Men”, the Native American “Black Man” and late nineteenth century reports of malevolent traveling salesmen, might have been manifestations of what we now know as Men in Black.

An odd incident in the history of the Men in Black is the strange case of Mr. O. H. Krill.

Mr. Krill’s writings first gained publicity some time in the late 1980′s when a text file called The Krill Paperswas placed on the ParaNet B.B.S. The file told the story of shadow governments in cooperation with gray aliens, secret underground bases, exchanges of human organs for alien technologies, and the like. He offers the following information on the Men in Black:

“All things considered, UFO research has become pretty much of a circus today, and the most intriguing and controversial sideshow skirting the edges is the question of the “silencers,” or the mysterious “Men in Black.” There is a strong subliminal appeal in these accounts of visits by mysterious dark-suited figures (I have been visited myself, as have others I’ve known) attempting to silence UFO witnesses. A typical situation would be that a witness has a UFO sighting or UFO-related experience. Shortly thereafter he is visited by one or more “odd”-looking men who relate to him the minutest details of his experience, even though he has as yet told no one for fear of ridicule or other reasons.

The men warn him about spreading the story of his experience around and sometimes even threaten him personally, sometimes obliquely, sometimes directly. Any evidence, if it exists, is confiscated in one way or another. Sometimes the visit is for some totally meaningless reason and the subject of UFOs is hardly mentioned, if at all. But again, the men all seem to look alike.

We actually seem to find ourselves in close proximity to beings who obviously must be directly connected in some way with the objects themselves or the source behind them, yet they seem to be functioning unobtrusively within the framework of our own everyday existence.

The classic conception of an MIB is a man of indefinite age, medium height and dressed completely in black. He always has a black hat and often a black turtleneck sweater. They present an appearance often described as “strange” or “odd.” They speak in a dull monotone voice, “like a computer,” and are dark-complected with high cheekbones, thin lips, pointed chin, and eyes that are mildly slanted.

The visitors themselves are often on absurd missions. They have reportedly posed as salesmen, telephone repairmen or representatives from official or unofficial organizations. Their mode of transportation is usually large and expensive cars — Buicks or Lincolns, sometimes Cadillacs, all black, of course.

I might note at this point that their physical appearance also has included beings that have pale-grayish skin, and that some of them have been seen to have blond hair, yet they wear the clothing and drive the cars previously described.

Their cars often operate with the headlights off, but ghostly purple or greenish glows illuminate the interior. Unusual insignia have been seen emblazoned on the doors and the license plates are always unidentifiable or untraceable.

The fabric of their clothes has been described as strangely “shiny” or thin, but not silky — almost as if they have been cut from a new type of fabric.

Their often mechanical behavior has caused them to be described by some as being like robots or androids.

A lot of descriptions of some of these “folks” are pretty bizarre. A businessman’s family in Wildwood, New Jersey, was visited by an unusually large man whose pants legs hiked up when he sat down, revealing a green wire grafted onto his skin and running up his leg.

There are other cases of MIB appearing on the other side of a wet, muddy field after a heavy rain, but having no mud whatever on their brightly shined shoes and in the bitter cold, out of nowhere, wearing only a thin coat. Their shoes and wallets all seem new and hardly broken in.”

O.H. Krill’s career was ended by John Lear when he made a television appearance with William Cooper.

Lear was the son of the famous aviation engineer, heir to the Learjet company. He claimed that his business connections with the military had given him access to secret Air-force documents related to U.F.O.s. He had posted to ParaNet his own U.F.O. files, which were also full of secret alien-government conspiracies.

Cooper claimed to be a high-ranking naval-intelligence officer, though records show that he was never anything more than an audio/visual technician for a Pacific fleet briefing team.

Lear heard William Cooper use the O.H Krill name, while John Lear wanted to use the show to announce that he made the “O.H. Krill” paper as a joke together with John Grace (head of the Nevada Aerial Research Organization). William Cooper went on to claim that he had first seen the Krill Papers in the early 1970′s while working for the Office of Naval Intelligence.

John Lear immediately pulled William Cooper aside and quietly told him, “Bill, O.H. Krill is a joke!” Lear says that he and John Grace had used the name “Krill” from Bob Emenegger’s special UFOs – It Has Begun In the T.V. special a woman claims to have channeled an entity named CRYLLL. They had posted the file on ParaNet as a prank.

William Cooper replied that Lear was mistaken. He said that Lear was a liar and continued to do so until the day he died. Cooper was known to accuse all who disagree with him of being agents working for the ‘Conspiracy’ (NOTE: On November 5, 2001 Cooper was fatally shot by a law enforcement officer at his Eagar, Arizona home after confronting deputies trying to arrest him and shooting one of them in the head. Authorities said the handgun-toting Cooper fled when Apache County deputies identified themselves and tried to arrest Cooper on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and endangerment stemming from earlier disputes with local residents. Federal authorities reported that Cooper spent years trying to avoid capture on a 1998 arrest warrant for tax evasion and according to a spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Service, vowed “he would not be taken alive”.)

Lear and Grace did not pull the Krill files entirely out of thin air; it was really a satire of the most extreme and bizarre UFO stories that circulated among the circles of UFO enthusiasts. If the descriptions of MIB are not directly from “real” stories from alleged witnesses, they at least bear a resemblance to some of the weirdest accounts.

And many people did believe in the Krill files for a long time. Copies of the files are still to be found on the internet. These files have had an influence on the public perception of the Men in Black legend, and have almost certainly affected popular culture.

John A. Keel’s 1975 book The Mothman Prophecies, is a great book regardless of your beliefs. Much of it focusses on the MIBs. They are definitely not simply agents of the government in this one. These excerpts from the Christiansen family’s meeting with one will attest to that. They had just moved into a new home, and had not yet been published in the phone book. A visitor came to the door, asked for Edward Christiansen by name. The huge man, at least six foot six (two meters) tall, and very broad-shouldered, said he was from “…the Missing Heirs Bureau” – (NOTE: The Christiansen Encounter: In 1967 the Christiansen family from New Jersey, USA, had a bewildering encounter with a hovering UFO. Shortly afterwards they were visited by a strange man in black wearing a badge engraved with unusual insignia. Inviting himself inside the man proceeded to question the family for nearly an hour. They described him as massively tall wearing a long black coat, and a Russian style fur hat complete with dark visor. Most frightening of all were his ominously bulging eyes and tinny computer like voice. The family also noticed what appeared to be wires running down the inside of the mans leg. Wires that actually appeared to penetrate the skin, and were held in place by a large round spot. When the man left the house he walked to the edge of the pavement where he was picked up by a black Cadillac with dimmed headlights and tinted glass windows.):

“…an unusual head, large and round while his face seemed angular, pointed…his eyes were large, protruding, like `thyroid eyes,’ and set wide apart. One eye appeared to have a cast, like a glass eye, and did not move in unison with its companion…When he sat down they could see a long thick green wire attached to the inside of his leg. It came up out of his socks and disappeared under his trousers. At one point it seemed to be indented into his leg and was covered by a large brown spot…The Christiansens said their visitor had an unusual pallor. They assumed he was sick. His voice was also strange, with a high `tinny’ voice…he spoke in clipped words and phrases, `like a computer.’ Connie said he sounded as if he were reciting everything from memory.” – ufoevidence.org / BUFO / APRO

Then there is the case of of Robert Richardson, of Toledo, Ohio, who in July 1967 informed the Aerial Phenomena Research Organisation (APRO) that he had collided with a UFO while driving at night. Coming round a bend, he had been confronted by a strange object blocking the road. Unable to halt in time, he had hit it, though not very hard. Immediately on impact, the UFO vanished. Police who accompanied Richardson to the scene could find only his own skid marks as evidence; but on a later visit, Richardson himself found a small lump of metal which might have come from the UFO.

Three days later, at 11 pm, two men in their twenties appeared at Richardson’s home and questioned him for about 10 minutes. They did not identify themselves, and Richardson – to his own subsequent surprise – did not ask who they were. They were not unfriendly, gave no warnings, and just asked questions. He noted that they left in a black 1953 Cadillac. The number, when checked, was found not yet to have been issued.

A week later, Richardson received a second visit, from two different men, who arrived in a current model Dodge. They wore black suits and were dark-complectioned. Although one spoke perfect English, the second had an accent, and Richardson felt there was something vaguely foreign about them. At first, they seemed to be trying to persuade him that he had not hit anything at all; but then they asked for the piece of metal. When he told them it had gone for analysis, they threatened him: “If you want your wife to stay as pretty as she is, then you’d better get the metal back”. The existence of the metal was known only to Richardson and his wife, and to two senior members of APRO. Seemingly, the only way the strangers could have learned of its existence would be by tapping either his or APRO’s telephone. There was no clear connection between the two pairs of visitors; but what both had in common was access to information that was not freely and publicly available.

Then there is a case where a man had supposedly taken a shot at a humanoid. One inclement evening in November 1961, Paul Miller and three companions were returning home to Minot, North Dakota, after a hunting trip when what they could only describe as ‘a luminous silo’ landed in a nearby field. At first they thought it was a plane crashing, but had to revise their opinion when the ‘plane’ abruptly vanished. As the hunters drove off, the object reappeared and two humanoids emerged from it. Miller panicked and fired at one of the creatures, apparently wounding it. The other hunters immediately fled.

On their way back to Minot, all of them experienced a blackout and ‘lost’ three hours. Terrified, they decided not to report the incident to anyone. Yet the next morning, when Miller reported to work (in an Air Force office), three men in black arrived. They said they were government officials – but showed no credentials – and remarked unpleasantly that they hoped Miller was ‘telling the truth’ about the UFO. How did they know about it? ‘We have a report,’ they said vaguely.

‘They seemed to know everything about me; where I worked, my name, everything else,’ Miller said. They also asked questions about his experiences as if they already knew the answers. Miller did not dare tell his story for several years.

Chinese UFO investigator Shi Bo has uncovered a story that, while far from dramatic, raises some interesting questions concerning the exact nature of the MIB phenomenon, for while UFOs (and, to a lesser extent, MIB) have long been a part of American folklore, they have until only recently been a taboo subject in mainland China. When this set of circumstances is taken into consideration with the fact that the witness in this case was a six year old boy, we may justifiably find ourselves wondering how such an event could occur in the complete absence of a cultural point of reference (assuming, of course, that the existence of MIB is not an objective reality).

In Shi’s 1983 book, China and Extraterrestrials, he relates the story of Li Jing-yang who, as a six-year-old boy in Yangguan, Shansi province in May, 1963, had an encounter with a UFO. The day after Li had seen ” a shining, silvery disc” hanging in the sky while at play with his friends, he was stopped in the street by “a very tall man dressed entirely in black.” The man, while pointing to the exact spot where Li had seen the disc, inquired as to whether the boy had seen anything unusual in the sky recently. Li responded that indeed he had, which elicited from the strange man a warning “never to tell anyone else” what he had seen. The MIB then went around a corner and seemingly disappeared. Li claims that this encounter was witnessed by several others who all noted and discussed the stranger’s odd, mechanical movements, his automated-sounding voice, and the fact that his lips did not move when he spoke. Thus, in its effort to keep the disc-sighting of Li Jing-yang a secret, this MIB succeeded only in making a spectacle of itself.

MIB AND THE MOTHMAN

The first encounter of the Mothman took place on November 15, 1966, by David and Linda Scarberry and Steve and Mary Mallette. The two couples were traveling late at night in the Scarberry car. They passed the West Virginia Ordnance Works, an old abandoned World War II TNT factory. They noticed two red lights in the shadows by an old generator plant. After stopping the car, they realized the lights were the glowing eyes of a large creature, “shaped like a man, but bigger, maybe six and a half or seven feet tall, with big wings folded against its back,” according to Roger Scarberry. The couples were terrified. They fled and reported what they saw to the police.

They were not the only ones who encountered this creature. On the 16th Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Wamsley and Mrs. Marcella Bennett were going to see some friends who lived near the TNT plant. When Mrs. Bennett got out of the car she realized there was a figure lurking behind them. “It seemed like it had been lying down, slowly rising up from the ground, large and gray, with glowing red eyes.” Mrs. Wamsley ran inside and phoned the police as the creature walked onto the porch and peered in at the couples through the window. The entity fled before the police arrived.

During these strange encounters, something terrible happened to the town of Point Pleasant. On December 15, 1967, the Silver Bridge, which connected Point Pleasant to Ohio, collapsed. It plummeted to the depths of the river, killing 46 people. The event was heavily investigated, and the only consensus of the collapse was a small manufacturing flaw in the single eye-bar suspension chain. The believers in the Mothman sightings would say that the two events are connected. Witnesses and believers even claim that the Mothman appears before upcoming disasters.

Between 1966 and 1977 there were over a hundred eyewitness encounters with the creature. Jeff Wamsley was among the few people willing to discuss his personal knowledge of the events. Mr. Wamsley has lived in Point Pleasant his entire life. “I actually live in nearby Gallipolis, Ohio, now…I was born and raised in Point Pleasant West Virginia…right down the street from where those original witnesses lived back in 1966,” said Wamsley. “I grew up hearing about the Mothman sightings…I was always interested in the story because it took place literally in my hometown…I was lucky enough to launch two book projects that contained exclusive interviews with many of those original witnesses. I have collected archives for years and run the worlds only Mothman museum…I ran my own chain of record stores for about fifteen years.” Mr. Wamsley now teaches graphic design in Point Pleasant at the career center and high school.

But the Mothman was only one of the mysterious things that occurred in Point Pleasant during this time. UFO’s were often reported, including eerie encounters with the MIB (Men in Black). The Grinning Man, as many refer to him, was supposedly in Point Pleasant as well. The best known Grinning Man was Indrid Cold, who appeared during the Mothman sightings. The first encounter was on November 2nd of 1966. A man by the name of Woodrow Derenberger was driving home after work when he heard a sudden crash behind him. A strange vehicle shaped like an old furnace firing soot and embers at both ends sped by him and stopped, blocking off the road ahead. A tall thin man stepped out of the car and approached Mr. Derenberger. He approached with a broad grin on his face and said his name was Indrid Cold. The two men had a brief conversation about the Mothman sightings, and then Mr. Cold left.

There were a number of other encounters with a Mr. Indrid Cold after this night all descriptions matched, but no explanations. Jeff Wamsley briefly mentioned such strange things that he remembered during his childhood. “The UFO’s were here before the Mothman stuff started occurring…the MIB were here asking witnesses and others a lot of questions…some witnesses were too scared to talk to anyone about what they saw.” So there have been other strange occurrences in Point Pleasant? “Actually the Mothman sightings are just a small part of all that was going on here.” It seems that while Point Pleasant is known only for the story of the Mothman, there is obviously much more to uncover in this small town. – appindie.org / unexplained-mysteries.com / The Mothman Prophecies

Gila Bend, AZ – 3/20/14 – unedited: On our way home from San Diego, California to Tucson, Arizona, my boyfriend and I were driving on Interstate 8. First I witnessed what I thought was a plane, then I realized the lights were much bigger and there was no aircraft, there were 3 round orb-like and orange lights in the shape of a triangle that were moving/flying rapidly upward then suddenly disappeared. At first I was very confused at what it was that I saw and why/how it disappeared, and if it was a plane how this was possible? I was totally perplexed and almost wanted to disacknowledge what just took place. What made me notice this was the size and triangular shape of the object and how quickly it was flying upward.  After 30 minutes later my boyfriend and I were having a conversation when I noticed in my peripheral vision one giant orange circular/orb like light to the right of my vision (South of Gila Bend – seemed to have been outside of Ajo, Arizona). This light was not moving in any direction it was staying still in one spot but it was almost the size of a penny, and was about 20-35 degrees above a mountain. We continued to watch it for 2 & 1/2 minutes until we watched it dissolve into nothing, dissolving from bottom first then top. It almost appeared to look like a mini sun, in the middle of the night, I compare it to this because of how bright it was and the intense aura of light it was emitting, the light was a very bright orange hue and it was sparkling almost like a fireball or star in the sky but much more intensely than anything I’ve ever seen. It appeared out of thin air, there was no trail or streak of light before it appeared, nor was there anything left behind when it disappeared. It just slowly faded away and was gone. While watching this I just had no idea what I was seeing, I knew it wasn’t a plane or a flare because it would have left a streak or trail, I felt in shock at this point and awe at how bright this object was. I almost felt afraid because I had no way to explain what my eyes were witnessing. Then about ten minutes later after we had driven away from the place we had stopped to watch it, we noticed that 4 more of these orbs appeared in a line. At this point we were further away from them, but they were the same color and shape ( bright orange orbs floating in same spot radiating intense light) then a minute later a 5th one appeared, and for the next 2-5 minutes these orbs continued to appear and disappear across different positions in the sky. Out of nowhere once again, it was as if someone flicked a light switch when they just disappeared. However, when they were still in the sky it did look like they changed shape at one point into a diamond like shape, but then they returned back into orb/circular shapes flickering immensely almost like extremely bright stars/suns.

 At this point I felt extremely happy/excited that I had seen something out of this world and unexplainable I was just happy and calling everyone I knew sharing that I was witnessing some crazy lights radiating this intense orange light. Then as I drove away I felt afraid and in shock for the unknown. At this point today I would just like to know what I had seen.  NOTE: The above image is a rendering.

UFO / Entity Observing Deer?

JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) – They were caught on camera the night of February 16. Mysterious lights that appeared in the sky over the 150 acres that Rainer and Edith Shattles call home in the Cumbest Bluff area of Jackson County. Were they a phenomenon that’s simple to explain, or something else?

The Shattles never tire of looking at the strange images caught by their trail cameras on that clear winter night.

“We have unusual things happen around here that happen, but it’s usually associated with our grandchildren. But this case, we didn’t know what it was,” Edith recalled. “I was looking for a nice buck to be showing up on the trail camera actually.”

The timeline of the pictures is clear. At 7:24pm, deer appear and all is normal. At 7:29, a dim light appears. At 7:35, it gets brighter. Then at 7:53, a weird shape appears on the camera.  The deer are lit up brightly, but how? The cameras are infrared and don’t emit light. At 7:56, another sharper light appears, then it gets much closer, seemingly focused on the deer. It looks like headlights, but well off the ground and there is no road. It then flies away.

Rainer takes me to the site deep in the woods.  I see the trees where the object appeared. Rainer tells me what he’s thinking.

“Well at first, I was trying to see if it was something or a reason for what we were seeing. But the more we looked at it, the more we realized that it was something that was in the air, it was something that I had never seen before.”

Edith said reaction from friends is what you would expect.

“Well, actually they are all just like we were. What? What is that? And, let me look at that again.”

Another picture shows another deer looking at a light that comes from nowhere. Rainer has a theory.

“Well, if it’s alien, I’m not sure about that. But it’s definitely a UFO. Now whether it’s a government drone or what, I wish if nothing else, one of them would step up and say, ‘Yes, that’s ours,’” Rainer said.

While Rainer and Edith admit they are wondering what this object was and are enlisting the help of friends to try and solve the mystery, they also say it’s been quite a bit of fun.

“It’s a puzzle that may never be solved and it’s one that’s kind of fun, adds a little flavor to life, I guess you could say,” Rainer explained.

Flavor and another ingredient tossed in as well for the Shattles.

Psychics used to help find body, inquest told

New Zealand: Two psychics helped to direct family and friends to the body of a Taranaki man who had drowned after falling into a river in Stratford.

Stephen Murphy, 37, had been missing for 10 days and was found dead in Patea River near a walking track in King Edward Park, Stratford on September 10 last year.

Friends and family reached out to two psychic mediums after they realised Mr Murphy had not been seen for a number of days and the psychics directed them to the area of King Edward Park where Mr Murphy’s body was found the next day, Coroner Tim Scott said in his finding in the death.

Coroner Scott said Mr Murphy suffered from seizures and had been drinking at the time of his death. He could not conclude whether he fell in to the river as a result of a seizure or from intoxication.

The coroner found there was no reason to believe Mr Murphy committed suicide or that there was anybody else involved in his death.

Coroner Scott said he hoped his finding would end speculation in the Stratford community about the circumstances around Mr Murphy’s death.

Meanwhile, a coroner has found a 48-year-old Northland man drowned when he fell from his dinghy while rowing out to his yacht.

The body of Ronald Raison was found at Tangitu Bay, Kerikeri on August 27, 2010. He was last seen a fortnight earlier on August 13, 2010.

Mr Raison lived on a yacht moored in Matauwhi Bay, Russell, and used a small dinghy to get to and from the yacht.

He had been drinking with a woman the night he disappeared and had intended to return to his yacht to sleep that night, the coroner said.

His dinghy and some of his belongings were found washed up in the sand near Te Wahapu Road, Russell on August 14.

Coroner Marshall said the weather was not good when Mr Raison attempted to return to his yacht.

Coroner Marshall said the most logical explanation for Mr Raison’s death was that while attempting to reach his yacht he had fallen out of his dinghy and drowned. – NZHerald

Landlord loses lawsuit in haunted house case

TAIPEI, Taiwan — A landlord, surnamed Chen, lost a lawsuit yesterday in a case in which he pursued reparations from the parents of his late tenant, surnamed Hsu, believing Hsu’s suicide to have depreciated the value of the apartment.

Hsu committed suicide via charcoal asphyxiation in June, 2012. Chen believes that Hsu haunts the property, which forced Chen to sell the unit at a 40-percent discount.

The plaintiff believes that the house was depreciated as a direct result of the suicide, and that his claims were proven true based on the lack of both purchasing and leasing interest in the unit. This forced Chen to sell the house for NT$6 million, when he could have received NT$10 million instead, he argued.

Holding Hsu accountable for the loss, the plaintiff pursued a lawsuit against Hsu’s parents, requesting NT$3 million in compensation for damages suffered during the ordeal.

After hearing the case, the Taipei District Court dismissed the suit, finding the defendants free of responsibility after deeming that there was no legal ground for Chen’s claim.

The court stated that the suicide itself did not cause any damage to the property, nor did the action violate any of the ownership rights of the landlord. Furthermore, the selling price of the property in question was set at Chen’s own accord, which was reduced possibly as a result of personal psychological factors and beliefs, which means that the loss can be only deemed as an economic loss.

The lawsuit was dismissed as it had no grounds under the first part of Article 184 under the Civil Code, which states: “A person who, intentionally or negligently, has wrongfully damaged the rights of another is bound to compensate him for any injury arising therefrom. The same rule shall be applied when the injury is done intentionally in a manner against the rules of morals.” – China Post

Something spooky’s going on in British homes…

Whenever you move to a new house, it can take a little while to get used to the strange sounds that emanate from buildings – particularly older ones. Rumbling pipes, creaky floorboards and tapping in the walls are all things we might have to get used to. However, research* conducted on our behalf shows that for some homeowners, these are more than just property quirks: they’re signs of ghostly goings-on.

According to the poll of more than 1,800 UK adults, one in eight (15.3%) Brits think their home is haunted. That’s more than 7.7 million people who believe they have a supernatural house guest.

The most common ‘haunting’ that these Brits experience is the feeling of having a ‘presence’ in their home, with nearly half of those who think their home is haunted claiming they sense another ‘being’ living there. Added to this, almost a third of haunted house residents claim to have experienced strange chills.

If you find yourself reading this with a sceptical hat on, then things are about to get even more interesting. One in five people sharing their home with a supernatural entity said they have had things in their house move on their own, and 15.7% say they have actually seen something they consider to be ‘ghostly’ with their own eyes.

Are we all this troubled by the things that go bump in the night? It would appear there are some differences based on the age and location of our survey participants. In London, for example, 39.4% report ghostly goings-on at home, but in the North West they’re generally a bit more sceptical, with only 11% saying the same. Younger people are more likely to believe in ghosts too, it seems. One in three aged 18 to 24 believe they live in a haunted house, but this falls to just 5.4% among those over the age of 55.

Respondents identified a death in the house, or the property being built in an already-haunted place, as a potential cause of having a live-in spectre. US Space Craft

Gary McKinnon a Scottish systems administrator and hacker who was accused in 2002 of perpetrating the “biggest military computer hack of all time. He claimed he was attempting to expose the UFO cover-up and other technologies potentially useful to the public. Gary breached Department of Defense files and downloaded lists of “Non-Terrestrial Officers” being transferred from one space vessel to another.

On 16 October 2012, after a series of legal proceedings in Britain, Home Secretary Theresa May withdrew her extradition order to the United States. On 14 December, the DPP, Keir Starmer, announced that McKinnon would not be prosecuted in the United Kingdom, because of the difficulties involved in bringing a case against him when the evidence was in the United States.

Apparently, if his findings are true, there is a secret military astronaut corps, and the U.S. does operate a fleet of antigravity, space-capable aerospace ships. Pictures similar to these have been released and obviously China, Russia and India know these craft exist. The money and research probably came from Reagan’s SDI Star Wars program. It likely had a dual purpose of defeating enemy missile launches as well fighting off certain alien civilizations. Remember President Reagan offered the US technology to the Soviet Union who basically told us they had a better system. The alien capability for conducting abductions seems to be greatly diminished in recent years and the secret military space program may be at least partially successful with a new weapons system.

Mr. McKinnon, says, “I knew that governments suppressed antigravity, UFO-related technologies, free energy or what they call zero-point energy. This should not be kept hidden from the public when pensioners can’t pay their fuel bills.”

McKinnon told “The Guardian” he was eventually able to access the US’ Space Command network, where he found evidence of an extra terrestrial mission. “I found a list of officers’ names,” he claims, “under the heading ‘Non-Terrestrial Officers.’ What I think it means is not earth-based. I found a list of ‘fleet-to-fleet transfers’ and a list of ship names. I looked them up. They weren’t U.S. Navy ships. What I saw made me believe they have some kind of spaceship, off-planet.” The single craft capable of achieving orbit without the use of a booster rocket. NASA is no more than a cover for what our government has been working on for over 60 years.

The late Ben R. Rich, a UCLA School of Engineering alumnus (MS ’50) who is known as the “Father of Stealth,” is recognized as one of the best aircraft engineers in the world and led development of the heralded F-117 stealth fighter. Jan Harzan MUFON’s Director attended an event with Ben Rich as the speaker in 1993. Ben showed the last slide of a black disk headed for space saying, “We now have the technology to take ET home”. There was a Q&A after the lecture.  In this Q&A, he told the engineers that it was now possible to travel to the stars. There was an error in the equations which was corrected.  The time of travel is fast, but he didn’t say how fast. Ben said he believed that security was too oppressive and that the time had come to develop this technology in the commercial world now that the cold war has ended.  Months later he died of cancer.

Malaysia Airline MH370: Terror Allegations

 An Al-Qaeda informer in Court in the United Kingdom claims four or five Malaysian men planned to hijack an airliner by using a shoe bomb to blow open the cockpit door! Saajid Muhammad Badat

claims the missing Malaysia Airlines jetliner MH370vwas hijacked. Security experts said the evidence from a convicted British terrorist was “credible.” The informer said that he had met the Malaysian jihadists – one of whom was a pilot – in Afghanistan and given them a shoe bomb to use to take control of an aircraft. Najib Razak, Malaysia’s prime minister, said that the Boeing 777’s communications systems had been deliberately switched off “by someone on the plane.”

The Voice of Russia, a week ago claimed in another theory six Malaysians and fourteen Chinese nationals working on new super-secret stealth technology or a new super miniature computer for an American Computer Company were on board Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, and were taking these secrets to China. Another report from Timothy Good claimed Israeli intelligence hijacked the plane essentially to obtain the advanced technology.

The inept handling of the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, on full display for weeks, reflects deeper problems afflicting the Southeast Asian country. Malaysia remains an ethnically divided country hobbled by five decades of one-party rule, and there are few signs that the ruling party intends to change course. Some reports claim UFOs had taken the plane. Such as this report: “There is one possible answer: Aliens.”

Lt. Gen. Thomas Mc Inerney was on “Hannity” tonight to explain how missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 could have landed in Pakistan to be used for terrorism. McInerney said that according to unverified reports, the plane could have been flying in the shadow of Singapore Airlines Flight 68 over India. He said a LIGNET report says that Boeing sources believe the plane is in Pakistan. McInerney said that between Rolls-Royce, Boeing and the U.S. government, officials know a lot more than has come out.

“When the U.S. Navy quits their search, their ship search, they must know something in the Indian Ocean. When the Israeli defense forces, when they increase their defense alert, they must know something,” McInerney said. If McInerney’s theory is right, the airplane would have landed at 5 a.m. Pakistan time, and it would have still been dark out. Retired Lt. General Thomas McInerney was on America’s News HQ today to once again discuss his theory that missing flight MH370 flew to Pakistan. McInerney and LIGNET Intel Group still believes the plane flew to Pakistan.

Eighty eight planes have been lost and their debris has never been found. A Super Constellation (above) with 100 on board went missing and was never found. Fifty eight were lost over Lake Michigan. Is something or someone taking our crews and passengers?”

 In his book “Saucer Post, 3-0 Blue” by Leonard Stringfield he reveals in the course of a half hour interview General Benjamin W. Chidlaw Air Defense Command (ADC) Commander stated the following,

“We have stacks of reports about flying saucers. We take them seriously when you consider we have lost many men and planes trying to intercept them.”  Later work, supporting this statement came from a Cincinnatian, who with rank in the Air Force Reserve had access to certain bits of information. It was during the Cincinnati flap of 1955 that he related to a GOC supervisor, who in turn told me that the Air Force was losing almost a plane a day.”  Page 91.

We were leaving the Sea of Japan at night and were on the upper deck and saw a UFO crashing toward the Sea and all a sudden another UFO came out of nowhere. It linked up with the UFO before it hit the water like a magnet and pulled it toward the moon. It was dish shaped with a white bluish color with round windows about 40 feet by 20 feet. 715 Exoplanets

NASA has announced 715 new exoplanets found in our galaxy by the Kepler telescope. Four of these 715 planets are approximately the size and type (rocky) of our Earth and in the habitable zone and are added to those previously discovered. One has to wonder when it will become statistically obvious to everyone concerned that Earth cannot be the only inhabited planet.

Sun Geomagnetic Storm

The sun unleashed a major solar flare on March 30, 2014, which could cause a geomagnetic storm on 2nd April. The X1 solar flare erupted on Saturday from the decaying sunspot AR2017 at 17.48 GMT. The recent eruptions of super-hot solar plasma (called a coronal mass ejection) could trigger a minor geomagnetic storm. The effects of a CME are usually felt a few days after the flare, when the plasma has time to reach Earth and disrupt its magnetic field lead to earthquakes and severe weather events on Earth.

NASA’s powerful Solar Dynamics Observatory captured the full-disk view of the huge X1 solar flare. That poses a disturbance threat to satellites and GPS.

According to Space.com, more solar flares may erupt from AR2017, although it is dissipating.

Unlike Earth and other solid objects, the entire Sun doesn’t rotate at the same rate. Because the Sun is not solid, but is instead a giant ball of gas and plasma, different parts of the Sun spin at different rates. When sun flares occur fortunately they are usually not aimed at Earth.

1700 Earthquakes on Last Week

On March 30, 2014, a magnitude 5.0 earthquake has struck directly inside Yellowstone National Park possibly indicating a pending eruption of the Yellowstone SUPER volcano. Numerous earthquakes have now hit Yellowstone and the pattern is sequential clockwise, around the super volcano caldera!  It appears the super volcano is “unzipping!” Large numbers of animals are leaving the area due to the earthquakes. Helium releases in the area are 1,000 times above normal levels, and accused the US Geological Survey of not reporting small quakes occurring near the volcano. Researcher Tom Lupshu, claims,

“Herds of bison are running for their lives on the public roadways and they were not being chased or rounded up, the bison were running down the mountain slopes onto roadways running right past a filming crew,” he added. “They detect something vast and deadly. The Yellowstone Super volcano is the only thing there that would fit the bill.”

Massive harmonics from the quake have been recorded throughout ALL the seismometers within Yellowstone.  Multiple aftershocks are still occurring. Seven earthquakes were recorded Sunday in the map area.

The mouth of the Yellowstone Super Volcano is called the “Caldera” and it is huge about 64 miles wide. The map below from the National Park Service gives you a sense of the size of it. Bear in mind that Yellowstone National Park is 53 MILES long and if the volcano were to erupt today, scientists predict that the resulting ash cloud would affect areas 1,000 miles away, leaving two thirds of the entire US uninhabitable.

Water temperatures in Yellowstone are also showing dramatic increases, rising almost twenty degrees Fahrenheit. which may indicate the rise of molten magma underground toward the surface. Los Angeles

On March 29, 2014 — (TRN) — A 5.1 earthquake hit the Los Angeles area Friday night, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The quake, initially measured at 5.3 magnitude that hit at 9:09 p.m. Pacific time and was felt across the Los Angeles area. It was centered about 20 miles southeast of downtown Los Angeles. It was preceded about an hour earlier by a magnitude-3.6 quake and was followed by a swarm of small quakes.

On April 1, 2014, an 8.2 earthquake hit off the coast of Chile killing six people, and causing a seven foot tsunami. More severe quakes are expected around the Pacific Rim. During my lifetime, I have read over 4000 UFO books, and I have to say:“This is the best book on UFOs I have ever read.”

The Reason this book is so good is the scientific analysis summaries on the objects found. If we had one object with this kind of analysis it would be impressive. This book is filled with them. The book is filled with pictures to let you see what is being discussed and analyzed.

The objects recovered fit together in a very logical way. You have pieces of the inner hull, a honeycomb structure and then the outer hull. Brown dots on these pieces show how they connect.

The investigators also found an I-beam. One (with a symbol on it) that is similar to another famous UFO case. The summary on the I-Beam has an interesting line.

An object called “The HDPE fragment” was found laying in the desert.   A very likely explanation of this object is it was part of an alien's heart/lung system.  I found two places in the book with fascinating quotes about this object.  You'll enjoy finding them.

Alien Shoe Sole Found!

Another (astounding) find made by the investigators is the sole of an alien shoe. The researchers found that this single object was divided into four parts. The composition of the sole and its size suggest it’s alien.  Reader take note, “Aliens” have small feet.

The most impressive find was “The Honeycombs.”  These objects are more than likely part of the alien engine.  Steve Colbern wrote an article about the significance of the honeycombs. Read it to follow up on this remarkable structure.

 The 2012 dig was organized by Chuck Wade. Murff Tilden was one of the Navajo workers involved.   The HDPE ( high density polyethylene artifact ) mentioned above was found about 1/4 mile below the tree line.  

The book goes to great lengths to tell the real story of Barney Barnett. Barney was a good man who was a pillar in his community.   Gerald Anderson joined the dig in 2011 and 2012.  Anderson knew exactly where to search, and found some of the most impressive items.

Aliens Exist: Here’s the proof

The question of whether or not we are alone in the universe has been answered. Aliens exist! Let us now turn to studying alien types. Here is a brief rundown on some of the metals and bodies proving aliens exist.

1.  The Star Child skull was the first scientifically analyzed DNA sequenced alien.  It has an alien mother and father. Ata was DNA sequenced 6 times. It has a human mother and an alien father.

2.  Metepec was DNA sequenced 6 times and also has a human mother and alien father.

3. The metal from Dalnegorsk was scientifically analyzed and found to be alien.

5. Finally, and this is really the “Game Over,” the new book on San Agustin UFO recovery by Arthur Campbell cites over 50 artifacts.  Scientific analysis was done on almost 20 of those specimens and the findings are included in the book. The next skeptical person I encounter, I can simply hand them a book and say: “Read this book”.

I was most impressed by the level of research that went into Campbell’s book. I want to thank, the author, the researchers, the scientist, and the financial backers. Your hard work should be greatly appreciated by all serious UFO researchers.

SEPTEMBER 3, 2001   ……..   HOBOKEN NEW JERSEY

 I am a crane operator in NJ. My partner and I just started up the 250 ton American Crane, and we were talking by the cab standing on the cat walk. I notice a light moving straight up the Hudson River going north. I said to my partner look at that plane it’s moving really fast! We both looked in amazement as the object got closer at incredible speed. It was huge, and it was loosing parts or something, it was definitely burning . As it passed over the World Trade Center it left a puffy cloud, from our point of view it was directly over the towers. As it passed us, I remebered that I had a camera. It was a low resolution digital camera. After I snapped the picture, the object split perfectly into three parts. One went straight, and one went to the right and the other went to the left in perfect synchronization as all three descended. My son was working a few blocks away and he and some others saw it as well, but not the split. Where we were we had the advantage because we were right by the river. Later that day there was a report on the radio that this object was seen as for as South Carolina, and they said it was an old Russian Space Ship.  To this day I don’t believe that story. It was never mention again on any news, television or newspaper. It was big! and you can hear it roaring as it went by. On the left of the photo is the edge of the boom of the crane, it had to be about 75 miles or more passed us when I took this picture. Again it was big!

MUFON Submission Suggests Flight MH370 Possible ‘Ghost Flier’ / Debris Reported Near Maldives

Kudahuvadhoo, Maldives – 2014-03-28 – (submitted 2014-4-3) – unedited:

Several residents were disturbed by a loud roaring noise in the early morning and rushed outdoors to see a very low-flying object described as a “jumbo jet” painted red and white which appeared from the northeast, overflew the island, and departed on about a 175 true heading over the horizon. Doors were clearly visible on the flying object and the noise was described as exceptionally loud.

It was suggested that this occurrence might be connected with the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 from Kuala Lumpur which had occurred a few hours earlier that morning; however, analysis of the latter flight’s presumed position seems to indicate that it could not have been in the area at the time.

The incident occurred in an area where low-flying commercial aircraft are never seen, as there is no nearby airport out of which such an airplane could have operated. Air traffic controllers in Malé, some 100 miles to the northeast, confirmed that no known commercial aircraft were operating in the area at the time. The description is inconsistent with any known military aircraft, and the behavior is anomalous for a large jet aircraft, which would have been expected to be at cruise altitude had it transited the area.

The object departed in the direction of Addu Island, but no one there reported observing it. The only land on the projected flight path beyond Addu is the coast of Antarctica, some 4,200 miles to the south (though the path would have passed close to two uninhabited islands enroute, Grande Terre and Heard Island.)

Parallels are suggested with the Scandinavian “ghost flier” sightings of 1933-34, which also involved sightings of detailed, realistic airplane-like objects in contexts where no known real aircraft could possibly have been. – MUFON CMS

Maldives island residents report sighting of ‘low flying jet’

March 18, 2014

Residents of the remote Maldives island of Kuda Huvadhoo in Dhaal Atoll have reported seeing a “low flying jumbo jet” on the morning of the disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.

Whilst the disappearance of the Boeing 777 jet, carrying 239 passengers has left the whole world in bewilderment, several residents of Kuda Huvadhoo told Haveeru on Tuesday that they saw a “low flying jumbo jet” at around 6:15am on March 8.

They said that it was a white aircraft, with red stripes across it – which is what the Malaysia Airlines flights typically look like.

Eyewitnesses from the Kuda Huvadhoo concurred that the aeroplane was travelling North to South-East, towards the Southern tip of the Maldives – Addu. They also noted the incredibly loud noise that the flight made when it flew over the island.

“I’ve never seen a jet flying so low over our island before. We’ve seen seaplanes, but I’m sure that this was not one of those. I could even make out the doors on the plane clearly,” said an eyewitness.

“It’s not just me either, several other residents have reported seeing the exact same thing. Some people got out of their houses to see what was causing the tremendous noise too.”

Mohamed Zaheem, the Island Councilor of Kuda Huvadhoo, said that the residents of the island had spoken about the incident.

A local aviation expert told Haveeru that it is “likely” for MH370 to have flown over the Maldives. The possibility of any aircraft flying over the island at the reported time is extremely low, the expert added.

The Malaysia airlines jet disappeared on March 8 with 239 people on board after taking off from Kuala Lumpur bound for Beijing. Investigators say it was deliberately diverted off course.

Twenty-six countries are now helping to hunt for the plane after satellite and military radar data projected two huge corridors through which it might have flown.

Satellite data suggests that the last “ping” was recieved from the flight somwhere close to the Maldives and the US naval base on Diego Garcia.

But the Maldives is not amongst the countries that Malaysian authorities had sought help from in its search for the missing jet. Malaysia has listed the countries that it had appealed for assistance: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, China, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia and France. – Haveeru

GEORGE TOWN (April 4): Questions are being raised in the Maldives while the international search-and-rescue mission for missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 continues west of Australia.

Attention is being focused on an object that resembles a fire suppression bottle for aircraft found washed ashore on a beach at the northern Maldivian island of Baarah on March 24.

The website Maldives Finest (www.maldivesfinest.com) has featured a series of reports, together with photographs of the object.

In particular, the website’s editorial stressed that questions are being raised on why the authorities are not releasing updated information on it.

“Are they simply trying to ignore the fact that an object possibly belonging to MH370 has been found? Or the authorities want the world to focus on the depths of massive oceans just to say, at last, the plane may never be found?” the report said.

“We can’t believe Boeing and the Malaysian authorities are not aware of this object. Why have not they said anything so far?” it asked.

“Why are the major news networks not reporting this?”

(Incidentally, the secretive US military base on the atoll of Diego Garcia is about 700km south of Maldives, or just about an hour’s flight for a Boeing 777-200ER like the one operating as MH370.)

The website has also tagged Boeing and MAS on a Tweet button on its page, and is encouraging concerned readers to click on it to tweet the message:

“@Boeing @MAS What happened to the possible Fire Suppression Bottle found washed up on Maldives beach? #MH370 http://goo.gl/i7GYl4.”

MH730 disappeared in the pre-dawn hours of March 8 while flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing via the South China Sea.

Search operations moved to the Indian Ocean a few days later when it was determined that the plane had made an “air turn-back” through deliberate means.

” Military denies access to object”

Maldivian news portal Haaveru Daily (http://www.haveeru.com.mv) first reported about the object when it was found on March 24.

The residents alerted the police who handed it over to the military.

Haaveru then reported on March 26 that residents had assumed the object to be a bomb or sea mine, but the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) said it was not an explosive device.

It also quoted an experienced local aircraft engineer, who wished to remain anonymous, as saying that the object is “very likely” to be a fire suppression bottle from an aircraft, but could not say which type of aircraft without seeing it in person and cross-checking the part number on it.

It was earlier reported that residents of Kudahuvadhoo island further south claimed to have seen a low-flying aircraft of similar size as a Boeing 777 on the morning of March 8.

According to Maldives Finest, the authorities investigated and said the claim was not valid.

On March 27, the website reported that the spokesperson of the MNDF, Major Hussain Ali, had confirmed to it that they are aware of the talk relating object with missing MH370.

Hussain said the MNDF was in touch with the ‘relevant authorities, but declined to confirm when asked if they are in touch with Malaysian authorities or the airline.

“When requested to grant access to our staff to photograph the object, the officer declined to give that chance,” the report stressed.

On March 29, the site attributed unconfirmed reports as saying that the Maldives military had sent pictures of the object to Boeing.

In its latest update on March 31, Maldives Finest said it had contacted Hussain again but could did not get any additional information about the object.

“When asked about pictures being sent to Boeing, the spokesperson said that he can’t confirm that and he does not have any additional update of the investigation,” the report said. – FZ

Man chops off dad’s head, sucks his blood

NIGERIA: A 30-year-old man, simply called Chukwudi has been arrested by the police in Ebonyi State for allegedly killing and beheading his 56-year-old father, Michael, in Egwudinage Obegu village in Ebonyi Local Government Area of the state.

He was alleged to have come from Owerri in Imo State where he resides as a mason, used machete and pestle to sever the head of his father, drank his blood and ate-up his neck.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mr. Chris Anyanwu, while parading the suspect before journalists in Abakaliki said the action might not be unconnected with ritual killing, noting that the suspect was still undergoing interrogation to ascertain the reason behind his actions.

According to him: “The Ebonyi State Police Command has arrested one Chukwudi, a 30-year-old man for beheading his father, Michael, a 56-year-old man of the same address. The motive behind this gruesome act was not ascertained yet as the suspect is still undergoing interrogation as to why he murdered his father in a cold blood.

“He was arrested on April 1, 2014 and before he was arrested, he was running and waving his machete which he used to cut his father’s head and threatened to kill anybody that moved close to him. Meanwhile, he was over powered and arrested but was caught eating the part of the severed head, after he ate-up the entire neck of the severed head.

“So, when you look at the exhibit head, you would see that he doesn’t even have the neck even though he cut the head on the base of the head you cannot find the neck from the head because he had eaten it up.

“I think it is not unconnected with ritual killing because it does appear he may have been asked to do such a thing but like I said he is undergoing interrogation if he yields, then we will be able to know clearly and why he did the act.

“However, the machete and the pestle with which he committed the crime were recovered from the scene of the incident and the headless body and severed head were deposited at the mortuary at Federal Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki for autopsy.

“The suspect will been arraigned in court for prosecution.”

But the suspect, in an interview said he committed the act but blamed his action on a voice that directed him to go home and kill his father.

“I’m living at Owerri in Imo and I am a mason. A voice came to me, threatening me to go home and kill my father and I immediately rushed home and used machete to kill my father,” he said. – Sun News Oline

9-month old arrested for attempted murder in Pakistan

LAHORE, Pakistan — A 9-month-old boy was arrested for attempted murder, according to authorities in Pakistan.

The baby’s grandfather took him to court where a judge granted him bail and told police to “record his statement.”

The child was arrested with his father and more than two dozen others for reportedly attacking police officers during a protest over a lack of electricity in their neighborhood.

Police later said the whole ordeal was a misunderstanding.

The charges were dropped and the officer who arrested the child was suspended. – KHOU
