Deze week waren er twee voorvallen waarbij UFO’s werden waargenomen bij regenbogen.
Het gebeurde in Engeland en in Polen. Toeval? Of zit daar iets meer achter?
Het eerste geval doet zich voor enkele dagen geleden in het Engelse Birmingham, waar een imitator van zanger Marvin Gay een UFO-vloot op beeld vastlegt.
De man die eruit ziet als Marvin Gay, maar in werkelijkheid Mike Bedward heet, heeft eigenlijk per ongeluk de beelden van de UFO’s opgenomen.
Hij zag ze ook pas toen hij de foto’s die hij van een regenboog had genomen, later terugkeek.
Hij is ervan overtuigd is dat UFO’s worden aangetrokken door mooie dingen zoals een prachtige zonsopkomst of een dubbele regenboog.
Het tweede voorval deze week vond plaats in het Poolse Szczecin. (Gelukkig hoeven we dit niet uit te spreken).
De maker van de foto’s, Marcus Warzymice, nam een aantal opnames van een prachtige lucht met een even zo mooie regenboog.
Tot zijn grote verbazing verscheen op enkele daarvan enkele UFO’s.
Volgens ufoloog Scott Waring zijn het inderdaad solide objecten en geen reflecties of iets dergelijks.
Het schijnt inderdaad vaker voor te komen. Zo werden de onderstaande opnames, afkomstig van Mufon, gemaakt in Griekenland in 2012.
Mochten er lezers zijn die een ervaring hebben met regenbogen en UFO’s dan horen wij dit graag.

A country with a particularly exciting number of UFO sightings is Russia, and the territories encompassed by the former Soviet Union. Even in the old communist days there was a suprising wealth of interest in the subject, though the official party line always continued to be dismissive on the matter.
The fact is that in 1968, as Professor L.A Artsimovich of the Russian Academy of Sciences, was publicly branding the UFO phenomenon as "unscientific", and a fantasy with "no scientific basis", there existed a determined and long term commitment on the part of the KGB, towards unraveling the enigma. This investigation, a serious long term endeavour was naturally cloaked in secrecy, and the findings can only be guessed at.
In Moscow in 1958 a "flying saucer" seen on the ground suddenly spiralled up to the sky, and in the same year a radar alert led to planes being scrambled, but the targets proved impossible to find. Several sightings over the Kremlin itself have been claimed by police on guard, describing strange objects that have hovered over the famous Sparski Tower. In 1978 a bright yellow ball was seen over the bell tower of the cathedral in the Kremlin. Apparently it entered through an open door before vanishing with a loud crackling sound!
One of the most amazing Soviet encounters occurred in the summer of 1961. This was reported by the Italian science writer Alberto Fenoglio, who claimed that a massive UFO purposely stalked a secret Russian missile site! According to Fenoglio a vast "mother ship" together with a formation of smaller craft suddenly appeared overhead at a sensitive moment during the construction of a new rocket emplacement. This comprised part of Moscow's defence network and the worrying appearance of the UFO's caused considerable alarm. The order was given to open fire on the UFO's, but the missiles all exploded well short of their target! Successive salvoes proved equally ineffective, and even these were brought to an abrupt halt as the entire base was crippled by an electrical blackout, that rendered the missile systems completely inoperative.

An event described as the "Russian Roswell", occurred in the extreme east of the country in the Vladivostock area in 1986. This involved a "flying sphere", that was seen to crash into a mountain known as hill 611, close to the village of Dalnegorsk. Like the Roswell incident of four decades earlier strange debris found at the crash site invited intense speculation! In his book "UFO's: Fact or Fiction writer Nigel Blundell comments: "The object disintegrated upon impact but investigators from the Academy of Sciences did find some debris, including a strange mesh material and a previously unknown aluminium alloy. Was it a rogue space probe as some have suggested, or something more sinister?"

NASA astronaut who once walked on the Moon says he STILL believes a UFO with aliens DID crash in a US desert before the government covered it up and wants the world to know the TRUTH!
Former NASA astronaut Edgar Mitchell was one of six key people involved in the release of a new ‘smoking gun’ image said to show one of the aliens that died in the crash near Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947.
The picture is now widely believed to have been false or a hoax….
But despite the mess that was the ‘Roswell Slides’ event last week not changing history at all in the quest for extra terrestrial life as it had suggested it would, Edgar STILL remains adamant that more than one alien landed at Roswell nearly 70 years ago – and some of them were captured alive and could still be alive somewhere to this day.
“The truth about it is that it was real. I was there when the Roswell incident took place. I was on my way to college and had just graduated high school.
“One day, it was in the Roswell Daily Record, which was a newspaper in Roswell, about an alien spacecraft that had crashed, and the next day that it had been denied by the Air Force, saying that it was a weather balloon.
“I believed that and went off to college.
“Many years later, after I had been to the moon and came back, I went out to Roswell to give lectures, talk and meet people I knew since I was a kid.
“Many of the people I knew, along with descendants of the people who had been involved in the Roswell incident, told me their stories.” He said.

Edgar confirmed that the descendants included the son of an undertaker who provided “coffins for the alien bodies” and the son of a sheriff who “kept traffic away from the crash site” and helped keep the area secure from prying eyes!
Mr Mitchell who actually was meant to attend the 6,000-audience conference in Mexico for the recent Roswell Slides” event but actually appeared via video link, saying at 84 he was far too old to travel that far (perhaps a change of heart!?).
Edgar recently spoke of why the authorities have kept “alien visitations above top secret” during an interview with HighCountry News ahead of another UFO conference this month.
Speaking about the now panned and completely debunked ‘alien’ image, Mr Mitchell added:
“They’re certainly not human – looks like what the little greys look like.”
Mr Mitchell stated a very wise comment and also said that we do not know what beings are in the Universe because our planet is like a grain of sand on a huge beach.
Mr Mitchell was the sixth man to walk on the moon as part of the Apollo 14 mission in 1971.

“A family friend who was a major in the United States Air Force told me it was all real.
“I got the stories from all of these various people into my head when I came back from the moon, and I then went to the Pentagon and told them my story about that and said, give me your opinion.
“The admiral who I spoke to said, ‘I don’t know anything about it, but I’m going to find out.’
“He went out to New Mexico and checked all around, came back and told me, ‘Your stories are quite correct and all real.’”
Edgar was also keen to confirm that the US government found dead and live aliens on board the crashed craft at Roswell!
Apparently, the US Government covered up the Roswell incident because they did not know if the ‘visits’ were hostile and also did not want Soviet Russia discovering about it….and possibly stealing any potential knowledge or technology!

Edgar told how governmental agencies in the US did not know at all what to do with the alien crashed saucer and its “superior technology” for fear of it getting into Soviet hands and being used against them one day!
“The best course of action was to just lie about it, and keep it to themselves. They labeled it ‘above top-secret,’ and that created the long running iron curtain separating a secret group within the government, and the American public.” He said.
Mr Mitchell also made a shocking statement that he had been made aware of “many UFO visits to Earth during his career with NASA” with each and every one covered up!

Experts believe the cave paintings to be between 10,000 and 15,000 years old. Experts suggest that cave paintings of that time were usually done with a single shade of color, the Tassili cave paintings however used several colors which makes them even more special to history. There are countless species depicted in the caves; among them are giraffes, ostriches, elephants, oxen, alligators and even hippos; demonstrating that the Sahara region was full of life in the distant past.
There are many interesting details about the cave paintings of Tassili, nomadic people assert that these caves are an ideal living environment even today. According to the depictions, rivers, jungles, animals and numbers plants were not foreign to the area, experts suggest that they might have been located in the vicinity of the caves. The painting also seem to reflect a pattern of occupation in the caves with different activities performed by the ancients in specific historical periods. Hunting and Fishing around 7000 BC, animal husbandry around 4,000 BC and horse domestication around 1.500 BC.
There are numerous mysterious surrounding the ancient inhabitants of the Tassili caves. Archaeologists have not been able to find burial sites in the area, but the most incredible feature are perhaps the mysterious depictions of strange beings with helmets and suits, resembling modern-day astronauts according to many researchers.

Why would they depict ; rivers, jungles and animals native to the region in the past, and then depict something that they did not see (according to mainstream archaeology): the strange humanoid figures with helmets and suits? This isn't the first time Gignac has made radical claims about sightings on Mars.
Last month, the 58-year-old Canadian said he became suspicious about a 'dark spot' on the rim of the Endeavour crater he had found in the original image, and so took a closer look.
'I was stunned. It was a massive panoramic window built in the inside wall of the crater,' Gignac told Cryptozoology News.
'You can see a person behind the bunker's window,' he added.
He claims that the 'bunker' 'could also be a corridor leading to a bigger bunker'. 'Also, not far from this bunker are missiles, rockets and structures deployed in a circle,' he says.
'Bunkers have been spotted in previous Nasa pictures, some might be caused by shadows or lack of resolution that doesn't give enough detail to clearly see if the structure is a bunker or not,' Nigel Watson, author of the UFO investigations Manual, told Dailymail.com

'These were explained as being of erosional features or caused by the way the pictures were stitched together.

The latest discovery follows a spate of supposed 'sightings' of Martian civilisation.
Last year, a Maryland-based UFO hunter spotted what he believed to be a 'decorative' box on the red planet.
Scientists believe sightings such as this are down to a psychological phenomenon called Pareidolia.
This describes the brain's response to seeing faces and other significant objects in random places.
It has evolved so that human eyes can spot faces within their environment, and to help them recognise friends in a crowd.
Scientists claim we also tend to use this ability to 'enrich our imagination' and recognise meaningful shapes, even when they're not there.
'I stand ready to be convinced that I have possibly hallucinated. I won't mind being told that I'm wrong,' Cignac says.
IS THIS A CASE OF PAREIDOLIA?
Many scientists believe that seeing strange objects, such as a 'coffin' on Mars, is simple a case of pareidolia.
This is a psychological response to seeing faces and other significant and everyday items in random places.
It is a form of apophenia, which is when people see patterns or connections in unconnected data.
There have been multiple occasions when people have claimed to see religious images and themes in unexpected places, especially the faces of religious figures.
Many involve images of Jesus, the Virgin Mary and the word Allah.
For example, in September 2007 a callus on a tree resembled a monkey, leading believers in Singapore to pay homage to the Monkey god.
Another famous instance was when Mary's face was a grilled cheese sandwich.
Images of Jesus have even been spotted inside the lid of a jar of Marmite and in a potato.

A remote galaxy shining with the light of more than 300 trillion suns has been discovered using data from NASA's Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer (WISE). The galaxy is the most luminous galaxy found to date and belongs to a new class of objects recently discovered by WISE -- extremely luminous infrared galaxies, or ELIRGs.
"We are looking at a very intense phase of galaxy evolution," said Chao-Wei Tsai of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, lead author of a new report appearing in the May 22 issue of The Astrophysical Journal. "This dazzling light may be from the main growth spurt of the galaxy's black hole."
The brilliant galaxy, known as WISE J224607.57-052635.0, may have a behemoth black hole at its belly, gorging itself on gas. Supermassive black holes draw gas and matter into a disk around them, heating the disk to roaring temperatures of millions of degrees and blasting out high-energy, visible, ultraviolet and X-ray light. The light is blocked by surrounding cocoons of dust. As the dust heats up, it radiates infrared light.
Immense black holes are common at the cores of galaxies, but finding one this big so "far back" in the cosmos is rare. Because light from the galaxy hosting the black hole has traveled 12.5 billion years to reach us, astronomers are seeing the object as it was in the distant past. The black hole was already billions of times the mass of our sun when our universe was only a tenth of its present age of 13.8 billion years.
The new study outlines three reasons why the black holes in the ELIRGs could have grown so massive. First, they may have been born big. In other words, the "seeds," or embryonic black holes, might be bigger than thought possible.
"How do you get an elephant?" asked Peter Eisenhardt, project scientist for WISE at JPL and a co-author on the paper. "One way is start with a baby elephant."
The other two explanations involve either breaking or bending the theoretical limit of black hole feeding, called the Eddington limit. When a black hole feeds, gas falls in and heats up, blasting out light. The pressure of the light actually pushes the gas away, creating a limit to how fast the black hole can continuously scarf down matter. If a black hole broke this limit, it could theoretically balloon in size at a breakneck pace. Black holes have previously been observed breaking this limit; however, the black hole in the study would have had to repeatedly break the limit to grow this large.
Alternatively, the black holes might just be bending this limit.
"Another way for a black hole to grow this big is for it to have gone on a sustained binge, consuming food faster than typically thought possible," said Tsai. "This can happen if the black hole isn't spinning that fast."
If a black hole spins slowly enough, it won't repel its meal as much. In the end, a slow-spinning black hole can gobble up more matter than a fast spinner.
"The massive black holes in ELIRGs could be gorging themselves on more matter for a longer period of time," said Andrew Blain of University of Leicester in the United Kingdom, a co-author of this report. "It's like winning a hot-dog-eating contest lasting hundreds of millions of years."

The new study reports a total of 20 new ELIRGs, including the most luminous galaxy found to date. These galaxies were not found earlier because of their distance, and because dust converts their powerful visible light into an incredible outpouring of infrared light.
"We found in a related study with WISE that as many as half of the most luminous galaxies only show up well in infrared light," said Tsai.

May 22, 2015 - Last week, amateur Polish photographer Bartosz Wojczyński combined an amazing 32,000 images to create a super high-resolution picture of the moon. It took only 28 minutes to take the photos from his balcony in Piekary Śląskie, but the total file size for the photos was a whopping 73.5 gigabytes. Wojczyński spent 5-6 hours combining the images.
Moon photography is an old art. John William Draper was the first person to take a picture of the full moon, 175 years ago. While Wojczyński spent $3500 on his equipment, Draper used a simple daguerreotype camera to capture his subject. You can compare Draper’s photo with Wojczyński’s photo to see how far we’ve come.
And while Draper’s photo was black and white, Wojczyński used advanced image acquisition and processing techniques to color the photo. He told PetaPixel that he had to map violet and infrared images of the moon to blue and red channels in the final shot.

May 22, 2015 - A remote galaxy shining brightly with infrared light equal to more than 300 trillion suns has been discovered using data from NASA's Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer, or WISE. The galaxy, which belongs to a new class of objects recently discovered by WISE -- nicknamed extremely luminous infrared galaxies, or ELIRGs -- is the most luminous galaxy found to date.
"We are looking at a very intense phase of galaxy evolution," said Chao-Wei Tsai of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, lead author of a new report appearing in the 22 May issue of The Astrophysical Journal. "This dazzling light may be from the main growth spurt in the size of the galaxy's black hole"
Professor Andrew Blain, from the University of Leicester's Department of Physics and Astronomy, has been involved with WISE since its inception in 2001, and has been responsible for examining and validating the data from the WISE telescope. He is a co-author of the new report into this discovery.
The galaxy, known as WISE J224607.57-052635.0, may have a behemoth black hole at its belly, gorging itself on gas.
Supermassive black holes grow by drawing gas and matter into a disk around them. The disk heats up to beyond-sizzling temperatures of millions of degrees, blasting out high-energy, visible, ultraviolet, and X-ray light. The light is blocked by surrounding cocoons of dust. As the dust heats up, it radiates infrared light.
Immense black holes are common at the cores of galaxies, but finding one this big so far back in the cosmos is rare. Because light from the galaxy hosting the black hole has traveled 12.5 billion years to reach us, astronomers are seeing the object as it was in the past.The black hole was already billions of times the mass of our sun when our universe was only a tenth of its present age of 13.8 billion years.
"The massive black holes in ELIRGs could be gorging themselves on more matter for a longer period of time," said Professor Blain. "It's like winning a hot-dog-eating contest lasting hundreds of millions of years."

May 22, 2015- Scientists in America will collaborate to draw up a set of ethical guidelines around the rights and wrongs of editing the human genome.
The move comes after the shock discovery in April that researchers in China had successfully edited genes within human embryos.
Despite the fact that these embryos were reportedly ‘non-viable’, the work has spurred the US National Academy of Sciences and the National Academy of Medicine to create a rulebook of what the scientific community considers to be acceptable use of the gene-editing system called CRISPR-Cas9 which allows mutated sequences of DNA to be removed from a fertilized ovum.
Of course, whether or not the world at large agrees to stick by those guidelines is another issue and the intention of the summit is to be open to all in the international community. DNA editing of human embryos is currently illegal in the UK
No date has been set for the moment, but an important suggestion from Marcy Darnovsky, director of the Center for Genetics and Society in Berkeley, California, is to take the conversation beyond just those with the technical and specific knowledge of genetics.
Edward Snowden, reported on the facts known to it concerning UFOs. According to the documents, which Snowden copied to the CIA, the U.S. government has long known that UFOs exist and are managed species more advanced than humanity. These species are not alien, and our earth, only more advanced. They live here for billions of years, and far ahead of us in development.

Homo sapaens and they have evolved at the same rate, but their living conditions in the Earth’s mantle defended their civilization from the many disasters that have occurred on the surface of the earth. .

Mysterious Unidentified Object At CERN Delays Experiments
Scientists at CERN have been delayed in conducting a number of experiments using the Hadron Collider due to an “unidentified lying object” in the beam pipe of LHC’s 17-mile underground tunnel.
Scientists, as yet, have no idea what this object is or how it got there.
Physicist Albert De Roeck, one of the scientists working at CERN doesn’t seem too concerned about the mysterious object, saying, “The unidentified lying object turns out not to be a problem for the operation, it’s just something to keep an eye on”.
The world’s largest particle accelerator, the Large Hadron Collider made headlines when its global collaboration of thousands of scientists in 2012 observed a new fundamental particle, the Higgs boson. After that, the collider was paused for the extensive upgrade. Much more powerful than before, as part of Run 2 physicists on the Large Hadron Collider’s experiments are analyzing new proton collision data to unravel the structure of the Higgs.
The Large Hadron Collider straddles the border between France and Switzerland. Its first run began in 2009, led by CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, in Geneva, through an international consortium of thousands of scientists.

Going into the second run, De Roeck said physicists will continue to look for anomalies, unexpected decay modes or couplings, multi-Higgs production, or larger decay rates than expected, among other things.
Particle discoveries by physicists resolve mysteries, such as questions surrounding Dark Matter and Dark Energy, and the earliest moments of the Big Bang. But particle discoveries also are ultimately applied to other fields to improve everyday life, such as medical technologies like MRIs and PET scans, which diagnose and treat cancer.
For example, proton therapy is the newest non-invasive, precision scalpel in the fight against cancer, with new centers opening all over the world.
POLICE OFFICERS VERY CLOSE ALIEN ENCOUNTER AUGUST 13, 1970 ……. CHRISTIANSFELD DENMARK
On August 13, 1970, Danish senior police officer Evald Maarup was driving back to his home in Knud, using the patrol vehicle at about 10:30 P.M., on a country road connecting Kabdrup and Flestrup, not far from the border enters Denmark and Germany, when something out of the ordinary happened to him. At about ten kilometers in the north of the town of Hadersley, the car became bathed in a very powerful bluish light, and the car engine stopped suddenly. The officer tried to communicate with his police station by means of the car’s radio, but it did not function at all. It was if if all the electricity had disappeared of the patrol car. Officer Maarup then realized that the temperature inside the vehicle had increased, and that it continued to increase quickly. In his report, he stated that he had the feeling that one would have during a hot summer sun when it hits a car’s windshield.
A short moment later, it was obvious to him that the bluish light seemed to be withdrawing. Maarup realized that the light actually surrounded a flying machine of elliptical shape, metallic appearance, and of a diameter of approximately 10 meters, which was now rising in the sky. Maarup noticed that actually, the rise of the craft was not the only cause of the withdrawal of the light which surrounded it. He realized that the extent of the light around the craft decreased as if the craft was swallowing the light into its body, from a defined point located at the center of the bottom side of the craft, in which the light was engulfed as if it had been sucked into there. This part of the craft appeared clearly delimited to him, by a dark part of a diameter he estimated at one meter. He also saw some protrusion on the underside of the objects.
At this time, he remembered that he had a Fujaxa camera at disposal, as he is the rule, in the police car. He used it, and managed to take three snapshots of the object. Those, developed the following day, did not show much more than a gleam of light, without revealing any details.
After the series of events which Maarup estimated the duration of about five minutes, the craft then flew away at high speed in the sky. During all the events, the craft was totally noiseless. As soon as the object flew away, the car’s engine started again spontaneously, the power went back, so that the lights went back, and the radio functioned again. Maarup then went out of the patrol car, to look for clues or evidence of the event in the surroundings. He found none, but when he touched the car, he noticed that it had become heated.
Very remarkably, Maarup had a second sighting almost three years to the day after this first encounter. On July 14, 1973, in the same area and at roughly the same time, he saw a similar shaped UFO above the countryside as it passed over the landscape. Once again he was able to take pictures of the object but once again, all the six pictures were disappointing, showing only an indistinct spot of light. He also saw several dome like protrusions on the underside of the object.

But the signal has never been detected since. What was behind this signal, and what are the chances it was contact from an alien race?

It was August 15, 1977, when astronomer Jerry Ehman was examining data coming from Ohio State University’s radio telescope, which was engaged in listening for signals from deep space, hoping to find something of intelligent origin. In a moment that’s since become one of the most famous events in astronomy, he saw a sequence of six characters on the printout — 6EQUJ5 — which caught his attention. So much so, in fact, that he circled the text, and wrote “Wow!” in the margin.
It was, apparently, a signal from outer space. It came from the direction of Sagittarius. The strength of the signal was represented by the digits 0-9 and the letters A-Z, a scale of 36 levels of intensity, rising with 6EQ and falling with UJ5, a near-perfect bell curve of signal strength spread over 72 seconds. All speculation and hype aside, Wow! remains the strongest candidate ever detected for an alien radio transmission.
SETI stands for the search for extra-terrestrial intelligence, but there is no single SETI group. For a long time, many different organizations have engaged in their own searches, but there’s no central authoritative project. Virtually every radio telescope is used at least part time by some group scanning the skies looking for signals that might come from some interstellar source. The longest single search project was carried out by Ohio State University, from 1972 to 1997.
When you hear about the Wow! signal, one of the most important and obvious questions to ask is where it came from, and what’s there. To understand where the signal came from, and (at least as importantly) how we know where it came from, it’s necessary to understand the workings of the interesting radio telescope that received it.
Ohio State’s “Big Ear” radio telescope was, well, big. The telescope no longer exists, having been disassembled in 1998 and its acreage used to expand a neighboring golf course. Its main feature was a vast aluminum ground plane, 150 meters by 85 meters, about three times the area of an average professional soccer pitch, and aligned north-south. Near the middle of its north end were a pair of receiving horns, looking like giant foghorns, pointing south. They were at the focus of a great paraboloidal reflector, 110 meters by 21 meters, standing across the southern end like a giant curved movie screen. This reflector received the signal bouncing off a tiltable flat reflector spanning the north end, just beyond the receiving horns, 104 meters by 30 meters. As the Earth rotated, the Big Ear swept the sky in a single line. After a few days of data gathering, the flat reflector could be tilted a tiny bit, moving that line of study up or down across the sky. It had a total tilting range of 50°. The Big Ear’s design was called a Kraus telescope, after Ohio State’s Dr. John Kraus who designed it and came up with its $250,000 cost, including a $71,000 grant from the National Science Foundation. It was built by the students.
In 1980, a feature was added to the Big Ear that could have come in very handy when the Wow! signal was detected; and that was a set of tracks upon which the receiving horns could move east or west across the face of the flat reflector. This allowed the telescope to fix its view on the sky at any given point when an interesting signal was detected, compensating for the movement of the Earth’s rotation, and allowing a single spot to be studied for a time. Crucially, this feature was not yet installed in 1977; so the telescope swept across the Wow! signal for the duration of its detection. It took 72 seconds for the Earth’s rotation to move any given point in the sky across the Big Ear’s reflectors, and that’s why the recorded portion of the Wow! signal was 72 seconds long.
In 1977, there was no automated computer analysis of the Big Ear’s recordings. Its data was printed out on paper, and volunteers looked it over manually. This is what Jerry Ehman was doing when he saw the data, circled it, and wrote “Wow!”
The Big Ear would alternate recording between the two receiving horns. Subtracting the signal from one horn from that of the other was a way to identify and reduce noise in the signal. This cleaned-up signal is what got recorded. The horns were physically right beside each other, so each was focused on a slightly different position in the sky — about two minutes apart, by the speed at which the sky rotates past. It’s known that the Wow! signal was audible to only one of the two horns, but there was no way to tell which one because of the way the signal was recorded. The Wow! source either started or stopped inside the time gap between the two horns, and lasted less than 24 hours, since it was not detected at that same declination either the day before or the day after. So it’s not known how long the actual signal lasted; somewhere between 72 seconds and 24 hours. When you look at a star map showing the location of Wow!’s origin, you see two little line segments, one from where each horn was recording at the time.
These little dashes are in a part of the sky where there’s nothing of much interest. No close stars, no other radio sources, just… well, space. There’s nothing obvious there to listen for, but nevertheless, astronomers have on many, many occasions pointed telescopes at Wow!’s origin, hoping to hear it again; but nobody ever has ever heard even the slightest blip. Whatever Wow! was, it was transient. Try as we might, we’ve never been able to find it again, in over 100 different attempts.
Another question to which we might want to know the answer is what was interesting about the Wow! signal. Obviously there are many different types of radio signals bouncing around space all the time, so how do we know that there was anything special or unusual about this one? The solution to this lies in the signal’s frequency. To understand why the Wow! frequency was noteworthy, we have to know a little about the cosmic radio environment.
There are different kinds of noise in different parts of the radio spectrum. Throughout the radio spectrum, there is a background level of about 3 Kelvins representing the leftover noise from the Big Bang. So that 3 Kelvin level is the quietest window we might hope to find. Below about 1 GHz, there’s a lot of galactic noise, making it hard for an artificial signal to compete. And above about 10 GHz, something called quantum noise — in a nutshell, the uncertainty of photonic measurements — becomes too great to listen through. So we have a relatively quiet window between 1 and 10 GHz.
Not only is there noise at different frequencies, but planetary atmospheres like Earth’s block out a lot of different chunks of the spectrum; absorbing some of it, and reflecting others. There are two great windows through which our atmosphere is more or less transparent to electromagnetic radiation. First is the visible spectrum, which is why our eyes evolved to see at the frequencies they do. Second is, coincidentally, that very same 1 to 10 GHz gap.
So, if you’re an intelligent alien, and you want to attract the attention of another intelligent alien, you’re going to try to do it on a frequency which, for one, is likely to be heard; and for another, is likely to be easily identifiable as artificial. So you’re probably going to want to send your signal on a frequency that makes it through an atmosphere, and where there’s a minimum of competing background noise, and — for extra measure — is right near the most universally recognized frequency of all: that of hydrogen, the universe’s most abundant element.
Interstellar hydrogen precesses at 1.42 GHz. Precession can be thought of as the way a proton wobbles as it spins. The unfathomably massive quantities of interstellar hydrogen out there means that all that precession can actually be heard by sensitive radio receivers tuned to 1.42 GHz. Nearby on the spectrum is the frequency of interstellar hydroxyl, precessing at 1.66 GHz. We can see these two spikes when we look at the signal received by a radio transmitter pointed at any quiet region of space; in fact, any radio telescope anywhere in the galaxy will see exactly the same thing.
Astronomers call this frequency band the waterhole, for two very good reasons. First, hydrogen and hydroxyl are the disassociation products of water, the best environment for life. Second, these signposts are universal, and would be recognized by any civilization anywhere; and so, like the watercooler at the office that draws a crowd, the waterhole is nature’s gathering point on the radio spectrum, a blatantly obvious place for interstellar communities to meet and greet.
The Wow! signal was squarely in the middle of the waterhole, at 1.42 GHz. It was the perfect storm of intelligent interstellar radio signals. If we ever do receive a deliberate alien transmission, Wow! was exactly what we’d hope and expect to find.
Wow! has tantalized by evading almost every suggestion put forth to explain it. For one reason, that frequency range is protected; nobody on Earth is allowed to transmit on that frequency. We know the signal did not come from an aircraft or spacecraft passing overhead, because the signal was consistent with a point in the sky that was not moving. No known planets or asteroids were in a position that they could have reflected the signal toward Earth. Any space debris would have had to be absolutely still in space relative to the Big Ear, which is unlikely, and not tumbling, which is also unlikely. Even complicated astronomical effects like gravitational lensing and interstellar scintillation (basically twinkling like that which we observe stars doing visually) have technical reasons that make them very poor candidates to explain Wow!
A radio transmission from a point in space in the direction of Sagittarius still remains the best technical explanation for Wow! Jerry Ehman, the astronomer who found the signal, has written that he chooses not to draw “vast conclusions from half-vast data”.
In conclusion, yes, an alien intelligence is still a candidate explanation for the Wow! signal. But there’s no evidence for this. A stronger candidate is the significantly more vague explanation of an interstellar radio source of unknown origin.
Meanwhile, Jerry Ehman’s famous scrap of printout with his famous handwriting rests in the archives of the Ohio Historical Society. In these days of manufactured mysteries and sensationalized nonsense, Wow! remains the genuine article: a true mystery, with potential implications unlike anything else in history. It’s quite possibly one of the most exciting unsolved mysteries that we have, and it lies quietly in the North American Astrophysical Observatory Records, with call number MSS 1151. Someday, someone will probably solve it. That’s a treasure hunt worth waiting for.
UFO crash in Bolivia witnessed by thousands of people

On May 6, 1978, at about 4:15 p.m., something crashed into a mountain near El Taire on the Bermejo River, the border between the Bolivian province of Tarija and Argentina. Thousands of people saw this happening and later described the object as being cylindrical in shape with a flaming tail. It had caused a supersonic bang that was heard up to 150 miles away.

On May 6, 1978, at about 4:15 p.m., something crashed into a mountain near El Taire on the Bermejo River, the border between the Bolivian province of Tarija and Argentina. Thousands of people saw this happening and later described the object as being cylindrical in shape with a flaming tail. It had caused a supersonic bang that was heard up to 150 miles away and that cracked windowpanes as far away as 30 miles in every direction. The next day, the papers were speculating on what had come down in that godforsaken place. The explanations ranged from meteorites to UFOs and belated reentry of some Apollo capsule. All of them referred to statements of eye witnesses.
Then it was announced that the Argentinian authorities had sent the 20th unit of the border police to the area in question to look for wreckage on their side of the border. The search in that mountainous country could last for weeks, so swarms of reporters went to the nearest big town, Aguas Blancas, to take up quarters there and await further developments, as well as to interview eyewitnesses in the town. And in fact, there were a number of witnesses who claimed to have seen the object. Most of them described it as oval or cylindrical and metallic. The army, too, seemed to be convinced that it was a UFO. Corporal Natalio Farfan Ruiz, the commandant of a small border police unit at the little village of La Marmora (800 inhabitants), confirmed the crash to Argentinian reporters saying: “It was about 4:30 p.m. when a cylindrical object made the earth tremble. Just imagine what would have happened if the UFO had fallen on the houses!” Policeman Juan Hurtado had also seen what had happened: “It looked like a gigantic wine container emitting a trace of white smoke. I saw it clearly. It flew directly above my head. I was on duty and at that moment was talking with three engineers from the mine in La Paz, when we saw the object crashing into the El Taire mountain. The impact was so strong that it threw me to the ground. The earth trembled at that moment.”
Finally, the Bolivian Air Force sent three single-motored AT6 airplanes—a model from World War II—to the area and discovered the crash site on the southern slope of the El Taire mountain. Whereas the pilots found it impossible to land anywhere near it, the newspaper Clarin of Buenos Aires announced on May 14, that the object had been found. As proof, they quoted the police chief of Tarija: “Our men have discovered the object and inspected it, but have received no instructions for further action. It is a dull metallic cylinder twelve feet long with a few dents. No one knows what is inside it, and we are awaiting the arrival of various technical commissions. A NASA expert is also expected to arrive tomorrow morning.”
As a matter of fact, no NASA expert came at Tarija.-Instead, two U.S. Air Force officers, Col. Robert Simmons and Maj. John Heise arrived. According to a newspaper, although these officers were officially on leave, they had been instructed to take the object to the United States in a Hercules C-130 transport machine, which was waiting for them at La Paz. When other newspapers made inquiries at the American Embassy regarding this secret mission of Simmons and Heise they were met with a denial. Only two years later, 5 relevant documents were released by the U.S. State Department: they revealed that Simmons and Heise had been assigned to the military attache of the U.S. Embassy in La Paz and did, in fact, fly to Tarija accompanied by an officer of the Bolivian Air Force, in connection with Project Moon Dust.
The first of these documents was a telex sent by the U.S. Ambassador in Bolivia, Paul H. Boeker, to the State Department. In that, he quoted newspaper reports and requested the department “to ask the relevant agencies whether they could explain what this object could be,” adding “during the last week, more and more UFO reports are coming from this region.” The answer was a telex classified “secret” dated May 18 in which the U.S. Secretary of State Cyrus Vance personally declared: “Preliminary information has been checked with appropriate government agencies. No direct correlation with known space objects that may have reentered the earth’s atmosphere near May 6 can be made. However we are continuing to examine any possibilities.”
He then referred the embassy to “State aerogram A-6343″ of July 26, 1973, classified ‘Secret,’ “which provides background information and guidance for dealing with space objects. In particular any information pertaining to the pre-impact observations, direction of trajectory, number of objects observed, time of impact and detailed description, including any markings would be helpful.” The next document was a “Moon Dust Message” of the office of the U.S. military attache, dated May 24, addressed to the Division for Foreign Technologies at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base and the headquarters of the U.S. Air Force at the Pentagon, classified as “confidential NOFORN (No Forwarding To Foreign Nationals).” Under reference Moon Dust, the military attache at La Paz reported that “they had taken pains to verify the press reports. ” In addition to that, they had asked the general staff of the Bolivian Air Force and the chiefs of the Bolivian Army who had declared—apparently after a first unsuccessful attempt— “we have sent search troops to the area in question but have found nothing. ” The army came to the conclusion that there could have been an object there, or maybe not, but to date they had found nothing. The attache added that he would send two officials to Tarija and promised, “We will keep you informed if anything turns up. ” These “two officials,” we can assume, were Simmons and Heise.
Regrettably, no further reports concerning the Simmons-Heise expedition were released and, to get a picture of what happened, we are forced to rely on reports in the Argentinian press. Apparently, however, nobody came to the conclusion that a meteorite had hit the earth. At the world-famous Smithsonian Institution there is a data bank of scientific occurrences, or an “alarm network,” that keeps track of every volcanic eruption, every earthquake and every meteorite collision since 1973 with painstaking accuracy. The data bank reveals no mention of a meteorite falling during May 1978 at the Bolivian-Argentinian border. The Air Force documents reveal that the 1127th field activities group, which coordinated Project Moon Dust, was interested in another task besides the recoveiy of UFO wrecks and other space objects, represented by the code name HUMINT. This code name, short for Human Intelligence, means the collection of information from human sources through clandestine undercover methods—in contrast to interrogations, reading through files and correspondence, etc. In other words, it meant the collection of information about UFOs from reliable sources through a game of deceit. The method which was chosen to achieve HUMINTs goals was so bizarre that nobody outside the UFO community would believe it. It was the birth of the “Men In Black,” subject of a Hollywood blockbuster movie in 1997.
Grant tells us that it’s taken him 15 years to work up the nerve to share his UFO account. It was about 2am on an August 10th 1993. Grant, a military policeman, was on duty with two other M.P.s at West Point Military Academy. Grant is quick to say that M.P. duty at West Point is actually rather dull, “…as nothing much ever really happened.”
On this particular clear moon lit night the three M.P.s were parked next to the main parade field and out of their vehicles, just talking amongst themselves. While they were talking Grant noticed that one of the other M.P.’s was distracted, he was looking over my shoulder. The other M.P. loudly asked, “Hey what the hell is that?”
Grant thought the other M.P. was messing around but he repeated, “Hey what’s that?” Grant turned around, and that is when he first saw the object. What stunned him was the sheer size of it.
“This thing was a huge UFO! It looked like a six story building lying on its side, and it was at least two stories high. It appeared black in the moon light and was totally silent. It had three huge square lights on the first story, the second story had three square lights on bottom as well.
The three M.P.’s were mesmerized by what they were looking at. Grant tells us that they watched the craft for perhaps three or four minutes.
“We were trying to figure out amongst us what we were looking it, and whether or not we should report it. None of us had a clue what to report. I can tell you for certain that it wasn’t a plane, blimp, or a helicopter.”
Grant explains that while they were watching the huge UFO, all of a sudden the craft flashed a light like a camera flash in rapid sequence three times. He says the flash lit up the entire side of mountain.
“At this time we were very alarmed. We jumped into our vehicles and started toward the object. As we made our way toward the object, it started moving slowly to our left, then it stopped for about perhaps three seconds. Moments later the thing darted to the right at an incredible speed and was gone. It vanished in the blink of an eye.”
The three stunned military M.P.s discussed what they saw. They knew the military tended to frown on reporting this type of thing, so the three decided to not report it. Grant admits that he was really rattled, “I was so shaken, that at the end of my shift I had to call my father and reluctantly told him what happened, I had to tell someone.”
It was during the father and son conversation that another account was shared. The father related a sighting of his own while flying on a mission in Vietnam. In Vietnam, UFOs were routinely reported simply as enemy helicopters because the North Vietnamese didn’t have helicopters.
There have been a lot of reports regarding UFO sightings by people around the world. They have been recorded in myths, history books, traditions and legends for thousands of years. Just like anything else in this world, there are selected places on UFO sightings that are known to be popular.
Mexico: It was reported in 1991 that there was strange aircraft hovering in the sky. In January this year, it was again reported that there was a horse-shaped UFO hovering near Colima volcano.
Russia’s M Triangle: UFO enthusiasts believe that M Triangle, which is located nearby the Ural Mountains, is the best UFO hotspot in the country. Locals have reported weird symbols, translucent beings considered to be aliens and strange lights.
UK’s Warminster: The Stonehenge Neolithic structures situated in the region have UFO sightings and strange sounds.
UK’s Welsh Triangle:Some UFO sightings have been seen in Welsh Triangle. The children saw UFO in a field while in their school. They were asked to draw, and the images were similar.
South Carolina’s Myrtle Beach: Many locals have claimed to have seen spaceships. In 2011, a business owner saw a strange orb in the sky. Just last month, two separate UFO sightings were reported.
Scotland’s Bonnybridge: A person reported to have seen odd lights that formed triangular shapes.
Chile: In 2010, one person spotted a UFO, which moved at a speed of 4,000 miles per hour, was seen during an acrobatic air show. On April 2013, miners captured a UFO flying about 14,000 feet above the sea level. The government reported neither a silver disc-like object, which later confirmed that it was neither man-made object nor a weather phenomenon.
Canada: In 2011, there were about 986 UFO sightings being reported. In 2012, the figure doubled to 1,981. The reports are usually lights in the sky.
Texas: In 2008, twelve residents reported a UFO flying in the air. It has a bright light that moved at incredible speed.
California’s Pacific Coast Highway: UFO sighting have been reported almost regularly along the Pacific Coast Highway.
Since World War II, UFO sightings were reported by thousands of people. But still existing in this modern era.

UFOs and Major-General Wilfred de Brouwer, Deputy Chief, Royal Belgian Air Force
The General states,
“In any case, the Air Force has arrived to the conclusion that a certain number of anomalous phenomena has been produced within Belgian airspace. The numerous testimonies of ground observations compiled in this [SOBEPS] book, reinforced by the reports of the night of March 30-31 [1990], have led us to face the hypothesis that a certain number of unauthorized aerial activities have taken place. ISS in Earth’s Orbit
This object found by a YouTube researcher has me thinking about last year when the Russians were cleaning the outside of the solar panels and found living plankton on them. The ISS maintains an orbit with an altitude of between 330 and 435 km (205 and 270 miles) by means of maneuvers using the engines of the Zvezda module or visiting spacecraft. It completes 15.54 orbits per day. They said the plankton were huge compared to normal plankton and they either came from being blown into space from the ocean or are living in space as they live in water. This discovery on the live cam looks like plankton has made its home on the lens on the space station HD camera. This is evidence of life existing in space, thanks to the Russians discovery. Plankton as well as viruses, bacteria and various living cells are believed to withstand space travel.
It is possible some alien intelligences behind the UFO issue are hostile to humans since they may need our planet. One of the most effective methods to kill is through disease rather than a standard sci-fi scenario of armed conflict that appeared in “Independence Day” movie. A deadly, unstoppable alien virus may be used to wipe us out or selectively kill a portion of the population. We may have already seen tests of the concept with HIV or Ebola.

Dr.’Bob Wood
Bob Wood received a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from University of Colorado in 1949, a Ph.D. in Physics from Cornell in 1953, worked for General Electric Aeronautics and Ordnance, served in the U.S. Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground for two years, and then completed 43 years with Douglas Aircraft and its successors. In the late 1960s, he ran a proprietary project to try to discover how UFOs “worked,” and has been studying the UFO topic ever since. Upon retirement, he became involved in the forensics of authenticating questioned “leaked” UFO documents, collaborating occasionally with his colleague and son Ryan (author of MAJIC – Eyes Only). He recognized the excellence of Nick Redfern’s attention to high standards and asked him to provide his international reports concerning aliens and viruses.

The Interplanetary Phenomenon Unit Document states,
Regarding the UFO crash near Socorro on the Plains of St Augustin on July 7, 2015, the far more serious issues became apparent with the discovery of the bodies, as the document records; Ground personnel from Sandia experienced some form of contamination resulting in the death of 3 technicians. The status of the fourth technician is unknown. Autopsies are scheduled to determine the cause of death.
As to the bodies recovered at LZ-2, it appeared that none of the five crew members survived entry to our atmosphere due to unknown causes. Dr. Detlev Bronk has been asked to assist in the autopsy of one well preserved cadaver to be done by Major Charles E. Rea. From what descriptions the team was able to learn and from photographs taken by intelligence photographers the occupants appear in most respects human with some anatomical differences in head, eyes, and feet.
They have a slight build about 5 feet tall, with grayish pink skin color. They have no hair on their bodies and clothed with tight fitting flight suit that appears to be fire proof, some of the bodies seemed to be burned on their face and hands. Ariel Phenomenon
On September 16, 1994, at the Ariel primary school in Zimbabwe, 60+ school children reported seeing a disc shaped craft land in the area beyond the playground, and two beings approach the group. Space Bacteria
Dr. Milton Wainwright claims to have found a life in space. Milton and his team conducted an experiment where they sent a weather balloon fitted with 27 pockets to space. In one of the pockets they discovered living bacteria which was too large to have come from earth. (Shown) This may prove there is life beyond our planet?
Here we have a professor with further evidence from orbit of life coming into our atmosphere from space. Wainwright graduated from the University of Nottingham in the field of botany. He obtained a PhD from the same university in the field of mycology and a postdoctoral fellowship, in environmental microbiology. Wainwright states, “This seeming piece of science fiction — called ‘directed panspermia’ — would probably not be taken seriously by any scientist were it not for the fact that it was very seriously suggested by the Nobel Prize winner of DNA fame, Francis Crick.” . Panspermia is a theory that suggests life spreads across the known physical universe, hitchhiking on comets, meteorites or even space ships.
ALH84001
The announcement of the discovery of evidence of life on the meteorite from Mars found in Antarctica known as ALH84001 sparked a surge in support for the theory of panspermia. People began to speculate about the possibility that life originated on Mars and was transported to Earth on debris ejected after major impacts (see ballistic panspermia).
Miami — Susan J writes, “This is a depiction the actual ufo I stood under for a good 45 minutes in September of 1994.I went walking along 106 Street and 88th Court and something told me to just stand there and wait for the ship. It was real breezy with very few clouds. As it approached, I just stood there staring trying to figure out what it was. I was squinting my eyes studying it so; I just nonchalantly stood there looking at it. Then, it banked off to the west.” Three joggers ran by and the craft turned around and came back over my head. The first time and second time it hovered over my head at 50 feet. Then, I decided to communicate with it and formed a triangle with my hands over the bridge of my nose and concentrated on my question: Are you Nyindan or Ummo?”Suddenly, it rose to 100 feet, banked to the north and slowly vanished behind some trees off in the distance.
I had a dream a week later where Darlon placed a ‘Q-tip’ in my right ear while standing by my bed. As he rotated it back and forth it elongated into my inner ear canal, but it didn’t hurt and I wasn’t afraid at all. Later on I had a long encounter on his ship where they worked on my forehead. I don’t know about the rest of the experiences, but it got personal as usual. A have a very close working relationship with him.

Ceres Asteroid
Check out the black oval UFO that shoots around the crater in the photos of Ceres. The UFO actually makes a 180 degree turn, which is 100% proof that it’s not a meteor and not the shadow of the satellite. Aliens are watching that area. This is more proof that the white objects are structures. Finally we get some close up shots of Ceres and the glowing white spots on it. The shiny areas have been altered to be blurred by NASA.

Mexico: Maussán’s Alleged “Alien” is Refuted
MEXICO– Less than a week after having gathered seven thousand followers at the National Auditorium, a renowned British physician has refuted Jaime Maussán, ascertaining the provenance of one of his main items of evidence adduced during the event: the “alien” photograph was pure theater. The host of the Tercer Milenio television show affirmed that the corpse corresponded to one of the alleged aliens that crashed in Roswell, U.S.A. in 1947.
British daily The Mirror published an article refuting the UFO researcher, stating that the image presented on May 5th on Mexican TV was the photograph of a mummified native child from the southwestern United States. The fact had been classified by leading researchers as a “smoking gun” regarding the fact that “aliens” had reached Earth.
Tony Braglia, one of the “leading researchers” who analyzed the body, admitted that “a serious error of identification” had occurred, and apologized to the Native American community: “I must offer my sincere and deep apologies to the Native American Community of the Southwestern United States. One of their children, a child who died a century ago, was turned into a spectacle. Whoever he was, he deserved great respect and dignity,” he remarked.
He added that a series of “extraordinary coincidences” were involved in this case.
According to The Mirror, Maussán said the affair is “far from over”. When asked whether the “alien” was a dead child, he replied: “This may be true. But there are too many anomalies pointing toward the unlikely chance of its being human.”
The Event
Jaime Maussán, UFO researcher and journalist, was accompanied by U.S. and Canadian experts on the subject. At 7:30 p.m. attendees listened to the conversation directed by Maussán, who summoned each of his guests one by one to substantiate his cosmic spectacle, called Be Witness: The Change of History. “This will be a historic night, awaited by so many of us, and we have the evidence to influence popular opinion regarding the extraterrestrial phenomenon. There are thousands and millions of galaxies, and we continue to believe that we are the only ones and the most intelligent, but this is not so,” said the host.
The researcher of this phenomenon said the key to the paradigm shift is found in two slides, showing two extraterrestrials. “They are proof of extraordinary life, and the dream of flying among the stars will soon be achieved. We are not holding this meeting for money or fame, but to share knowledge for the betterment of mankind,” he remarked.
Jaime Maussán’s studies and statements, presented last Tuesday night, in regard to the evidence of two slides showing extraterrestrial images were backed by the invited experts.
Holland Crop Circle

Oudenbosch/Hoeven — Nancy Talbott, BLT Research reports, “On Wednesday night, May 6th Robbert Vanderbroeke skyped me at 10:46 pm (Dutch time) saying he felt another formation was Coming.”
I asked him if he “saw” what it would look like and he replied “an ellipse or something.” Since he doesn’t go to the fields alone I asked if anybody was available to drive him and he said he’d just called Roy, who lives about 1/2-hour away. So I asked Robbert (if he “saw” any more details) to make a drawing and Skype me back so I could make a screenshot before he and Roy left for the fields.
At 11:29 pm (Dutch time) Roy had arrived and Robbert had “concentrated himself” and made a drawing to show me before they left. He also said he felt the new circle would be “very close” to the April 28th spiral. As you can see, the details in Robbert’s drawing are not perfect this time—but the overall design is very close.
It had been raining for days and still storming on this night, and this circle is in rain-soaked grass. It’s quite large (48m overall length); the largest circle measures 10.5m in diameter, the smallest 1.3m, and the lay in all the circles—as well as the oval ring and the ring around the one circle—is counter-clockwise. And it IS in the far end of the same field as the April 28th spiral.
To me it is the lay details in the new formation which are most interesting. Roy came back to the field only hours after the men first found it but, because the grass was still soaked and the sky overcast in the morning, his early photos don’t show the incredible fluidity of the lay quite as well as some other photos taken later on the 7th. We’re lucky to have both sets of photos to compare the “lay” when the grass was soaked and, later, when it had dried out a bit.
This is the same farmer & he is allowing public access to the new formation also through Sunday—he must harvest the field on Monday. We’re most grateful to him. For many more of Roy’s and Ronald’s photos see Robbert website.
