Date of sighting: February 1, 2016 Location of sighting: Los Angeles, California, USA This UFO was reported by Youtube user jmhz71 and shows a long white object in the sky with orbs dropping off of it. This particular type of UFO has been seen a lot in South America, but less common in North America. Its also interesting that these objects were moving into the clouds. Now because the camera focus is off a bit, I have some concerns about this being an accidental sighting of a bunch of wedding balloons that escaped. The Phoenix Lights (sometimes referred to as the “lights over Phoenix”) were a series of widely sighted optical phenomena (generally unidentified flying objects) that occurred in the skies over the U.S. states of Arizona and Nevada, and the Mexican state of Sonora on March 13, 1997. A repeat of the lights occurred February 6, 2007, and was filmed by the local Fox News TV station.
A similar incident occurred April 21, 2008. This incident was later revealed to be prank–flares attached to helium balloons.
Lights of varying descriptions were seen by thousands of people between 19:30 and 22:30 MST, in a space of about 300 miles, from the Nevada line, through Phoenix, to the edge of Tucson. There were two distinct events involved in the incident: a triangular formation of lights seen to pass over the state, and a series of stationary lights seen in the Phoenix area. The United States Air Force (USAF) identified the second group of lights as flares dropped by A-10 Warthog aircraft which were on training exercises at the Barry Goldwater Range in southwest Arizona. Witnesses claim to have observed a huge carpenter’s square-shaped UFO, containing lights or possibly light-emitting engines. Fife Symington, the governor at the time, was one witness to this incident.
History
Initial reports
At about 18:55 PST (6:55 PM PST), (19:55 MST [7:55 PM MST]), a man reported seeing a V-shaped object above Henderson, Nevada. He said it was about the “size of a (Boeing) 747”, sounded like “rushing wind”, and had six lights on its leading edge. The lights reportedly traversed northwest to the southeast.
An unidentified former police officer from Paulden, Arizona is claimed to have been the next person to report a sighting after leaving his house at about 20:15 MST (8:15 PM MST). As he was driving north, he reputedly saw a cluster of reddish or orange lights in the sky, comprising four lights together and a fifth light trailing them. Each of the individual lights in the formation appeared to the witness to consist of two separate point sources of orange light. He returned home and through binoculars watched the lights until they disappeared south over the horizon.
Prescott and Prescott Valley
Lights were also reportedly seen in the areas of Prescott and Prescott Valley. At approximately 20:17 MST, callers began reporting the object was definitely solid because it blocked out much of the starry sky as it passed over.
John Kaiser was standing outside with his wife and sons in Prescott Valley, when they noticed a cluster of lights to the west-northwest of their position. The lights formed a triangular pattern, but all of them appeared to be red, except the light at the nose of the object, which was distinctly white. The object, or objects, which had been observed for approximately 2–3 minutes with binoculars, then passed directly overhead the observers, they were seen to “bank to the right”, and they then disappeared in the night sky to the southeast of Prescott Valley. The altitude could not be determined, however it was fairly low and made no sound whatsoever.
The National UFO Reporting Center received the following report from the Prescott area:
“While doing astrophotography I observed five yellow-white lights in a “V” formation moving slowly from the northwest, across the sky to the northeast, then turn almost due south and continue until out of sight. The point of the “V” was in the direction of movement. The first three lights were in a fairly tight “V” while two of the lights were further back along the lines of the “V”‘s legs. During the NW-NE transit one of the trailing lights moved up and joined the three and then dropped back to the trailing position. I estimated the three light “V” to cover about 0.5 degrees of sky and the whole group of five lights to cover about 1 degree of sky.”
Dewey
At the town of Dewey, 10 miles south of Prescott, Arizona, six people saw a large cluster of lights while driving northbound on Highway 69. The five adults and a youth stopped their car to observe the lights which were directly overhead when they exited the car.
The lights appeared to hover for several minutes. The caller, who was an experienced flyer, said that the object was so large that he could clench his fist and hold it at arm’s length and still not completely cover the light. He estimated the object to be not over 1,000 feet above the ground and that it was moving at a considerably slower pace than an aircraft would fly. Calls to the UFO centre were also received from Chino Valley, Tempe, and Glendale.
First sighting from Phoenix
Tim Ley and his wife Bobbi, his son Hal and his grandson Damien Turnidge first saw the lights when they were above Prescott Valley about 65 miles away from them. At first they appeared to them as five separate and distinct lights in an arc shape like they were on top of a balloon, but they soon realized the lights appeared to be moving towards them. Over the next ten or so minutes they appeared to be coming closer and the distance between the lights increased and they took on the shape of an upside down V. Eventually when the lights appeared to be a couple of miles away the witnesses could make out a shape that looked like a carpenter’s square with the five lights set into it, with one at the front and two on each side. Soon the lights appeared to be coming right down the street where they lived about 100 to 150 feet above them, traveling so slowly it appeared to hover and was silent. The lights then seemed to pass over their heads and went through a V opening in the peaks of the mountain range towards Squaw Peak Mountain and toward the direction of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
Arriving in Phoenix
When the triangular formation entered the Phoenix area, Mitch Stanley, an amateur astronomer, observed the lights using a Dobsonian telescope outfitted with a TELEVUE 32mm Plössl eyepiece, which produces 43x magnification. After observing the lights, he told his mother, who was present at the time, that the lights were aircraft.
Even though former Phoenix Councilwomen and Vice Mayor, Frances Emma Barwood, received over 700 reports of mile wide V or boomerang shaped craft and orbs, Mitch Stanley’s report was the only one publicized in the Arizona print media.
In addition to the triangular formation, a separate phenomenon occurred in the Phoenix area. A series of lights appeared, one by one, and then were extinguished one by one. At this point many widely publicized videos and photographs were taken.
Bill Greiner, a cement driver hauling a load down a mountain north of Phoenix, described the second group of lights: “I’ll never be the same. Before this, if anybody had told me they saw a UFO, I would’ve said, ‘Yeah, and I believe in the tooth fairy’. Now I’ve got a whole new view. I may be just a dumb truck driver, but I’ve seen something that don’t belong here”. Greiner stated that the lights hovered over the area for in excess of 2 hours.
After Phoenix
A report came from a young man in the Kingman area who stopped his car at a payphone to report the incident. “[The] young man, en route to Los Angeles, called from a phone booth to report having seen a large and bizarre cluster of lights moving slowly in the northern sky”.
Reports
Governor
In March 2007, former Arizona Governor Fife Symington III (photo right) said that he had witnessed one of the “crafts of unknown origin” during the 1997 event, but noted that he did not go public with the information. Shortly after the lights, Symington held a press conference, stating that “they found who was responsible”. He proceeded to make light of the situation by bringing his aide on stage dressed in an alien costume. (Dateline, NBC). In an interview with The Daily Courier in Prescott, Arizona, Symington said, “I’m a pilot and I know just about every machine that flies. It was bigger than anything that I’ve ever seen. It remains a great mystery. Other people saw it, responsible people. I don’t know why people would ridicule it”. Symington had earlier said, “It was enormous and inexplicable. Who knows where it came from? A lot of people saw it, and I saw it too. It was dramatic. And it couldn’t have been flares because it was too symmetrical. It had a geometric outline, a constant shape.
Symington also noted that he requested information from the commander of Luke Air Force Base, the general of the National Guard, and the head of the Department of Public Safety. But none of the officials he contacted had an answer for what had happened, and were also “perplexed”. Later, he responded to an Air Force “explanation” that the lights were flares: “As a pilot and a former Air Force Officer, I can definitively say that this craft did not resemble any man made object I’d ever seen. And it was certainly not high-altitude flares because flares don’t fly in formation”.
Frances Barwood, the 1997 Phoenix city councilwoman who launched an investigation into the event, said that of the over 700 witnesses she interviewed, “The government never interviewed even one”.
Videotapes, still photos
Imagery of the Phoenix Lights falls into two categories: images of the triangular formation seen prior to 10 pm in Prescott and Dewey, and images of the 10 pm Phoenix event. All known images were produced using a variety of commercially available camcorders and cameras. There are no known images taken by equipment designed for scientific analysis, nor are there any known images taken using high powered optics or night vision equipment.
During the Phoenix event, numerous still photographs and videotapes were made, distinctly showing a series of lights appearing at a regular interval, remaining illuminated for several moments and then going out. These images have been repeatedly aired by documentary TV channels such as the Discovery Channel and the History Channel as part of their UFO documentary programming.
The most frequently seen sequence shows what appears to be an arc of lights appearing one by one, then going out one by one. UFO advocates claim that these images show that the lights were some form of “running light” or other aircraft illumination along the leading edge of a large craft (estimated to be as large as a mile in diameter) hovering over the city of Phoenix. Other similar sequences reportedly taken over a half hour period show differing numbers of lights in a V or arrowhead array. Thousands of witnesses throughout Arizona also reported a silent, mile wide V or boomerang shaped craft with varying numbers of huge orbs. A significant number of witnesses reported that the craft was silently gliding directly overhead at low altitude. The first-hand witnesses consistently reported that the lights appeared as “canisters of swimming light”, while the underbelly of the craft was undulating “like looking through water”. However, skeptics claim that the video is evidence that mountains not visible at night partially obstructed views from certain angles, thereby bolstering the claim that the lights were more distant than UFO advocates claim.
UFO advocate Jim Dilettoso claimed to have performed “spectral analysis” of photographs and video imagery that proved the lights could not have been produced by a man-made source. Dilettoso claimed to have used software called “Image Pro Plus” (exact version unknown) to determine the amount of red, green and blue in the various photographic and video images and construct histograms of the data,
which were then compared to several photographs known to be of flares. Several sources have pointed out, however, that it is impossible to determine the spectral signature of a light source based solely on photographic or video imagery, as film and electronics inherently alter the spectral signature of a light source by shifting hue in the visible spectrum, and experts in spectroscopy have dismissed his claims as being scientifically invalid. Normal photographic equipment also eliminates light outside the visible spectrum (e.g., infrared and ultraviolet) that would be necessary for a complete spectral analysis. The maker of “Image Pro Plus”, Media Cybernetic, has stated that its software is incapable of performing spectroscopic analysis.
Cognitech, an independent video laboratory, superimposed video imagery taken of the Phoenix Lights onto video imagery it shot during daytime from the same location. In the composite image, the lights are seen to extinguish at the moment they reach the Estrella mountain range, which is visible in the daytime, but invisible in the footage shot at night. A broadcast by local Fox Broadcasting affiliate KSAZ-TV claimed to have performed a similar test that showed the lights were in front of the mountain range and suggested that the Cognitech data might have been altered. Dr. Paul Scowen, visiting professor of Astronomy at Arizona State University, performed a third analysis using daytime imagery overlaid with video shot of the lights and his findings were consistent with Cognitech. The Phoenix New Times subsequently reported the television station had simply overlaid two video tracks on a video editing machine without using a computer to match the zoom and scale of the two images.
In comparison, there are few known images of the Prescott/Dewey lights. KSAZ reported that an individual named Richard Curtis took a detailed video that purportedly showed the outline of a space craft, but that the video had been lost. The only other known video is of poor quality and shows a group of lights with no craft visible.
Explanations and skepticism
There is some controversy as to how best classify the reports on the night in question. Some are of the opinion that the differing nature of the eyewitness reports indicates that several unidentified objects were in the area, each of which was its own separate ‘event.’ This is largely dismissed by skeptics as an over-extrapolation from standard deviation common in necessarily subjective eye-witness accounts. The media and most skeptical investigators have largely preferred to split the sightings into two distinct classes – a first and second event – for which two separate explanations are offered:
The first event—the “v,” which appeared over northern Arizona and gradually traveled south over nearly the entire length of the state, eventually passing south of Tucson—was the allegedly “wedge-shaped” object reported by then-Governor Symington and many others. This event started at about 8:15 over the Prescott area, and was seen south of Tucson by about 8:45.
The second event was the set of nine lights falling behind the Sierra Estrella, a mountain ridge to the southwest of Phoenix, at around 10pm. This was also observed by numerous people who may have thought they were seeing the same lights as those reported earlier.
Proponents of two separate events propose that the first event still has no provable explanation, but that some evidence exists that the lights were in fact airplanes. According to an article by reporter Janet Gonzales that appeared in the Phoenix New Times, videotape of the v shape shows the lights moving as separate entities, not as a single object; a phenomenon known as illusory contours can cause the human eye to see unconnected lines or dots as forming a single shape. Ortega also spoke with amateur astronomer Mitch Stanley, who was outside that night using a Dobsonian telescope, which yielded a view 60 times the magnification of the human eye.
According to Stanley, the lights were quite clearly individual airplanes; a companion who was with him recalled asking Stanley at the time what the lights were, and he said, “Planes”. However, no pilots have yet been found who admit to flying such a formation that night, and many witnesses continue to insist that they actually saw the entire object blocking the stars.
The second event has been more thoroughly covered by the media, due in part to the military’s backing of the explanation. The USAF explained the second event as slow falling, long burning flares dropped by an A-10 Warthog aircraft on a training exercise over Luke Air Force Base. An investigation by Luke AFB itself also came to this conclusion and declared the case solved.
Air National Guard pilot, Lt. Col. Ed Jones, responding to a March 2007 media query, confirmed that he had flown one of the aircraft n the formation that dropped flares on the night in question. The squadron to which he belonged was in fact in Arizona on a training exercise at the time, according to the Maryland Air National Guard. A history of the Maryland Air National Guard published in 2000 previously asserted that the squadron, the 104th Fighter Squadron, was responsible for the incident. The first reports that members of the Maryland Air National Guard were responsible for the incident were published in The Arizona Republic newspaper in July 1997.
Military flares such as these can be seen from hundreds of miles with correct environmental conditions. Later comparisons with known military flare drops were reported on local television stations, showing similarities between the known military flare drops and the Phoenix Lights. An analysis of the luminosity of LUU-2B/B illumination flares, the type which would have been in use by A-10 aircraft at the time, determined that the luminosity of such flares at a range of approximately 50–70 miles would fall well within the range of the lights viewed from Phoenix. However, this was not brought forward until July 1997, and the flares were reportedly dropped before the sightings took place.
The “Stealth Blimp” theory
The “giant V shaped object” (right picture: simulation) description also matches the description made by witnesses describing a similar object seen in Lebanon, Illinois, Guernsey, United Kingdom, and Stephenville, Texas. In the case of the Stephenville sighting, there is radar data from the FAA and National Weather Service that correlate to these eyewitness accounts. It is believed this object is a “Stealth Blimp”, which Lockheed Martin proposed building as far back as 1982.
Reappearance
On April 21, 2008, lights were again reported over Phoenix by local residents. These lights appeared to change from square to triangular formation over time.
A resident of Deer Valley in North Phoenix, Tony Toporek videotaped those lights. He was talking to neighbors around 8 p.m. when the lights appeared. Toporek stated, “Four brilliant red lights first formed a vertical or diagonal line, next a U-shape, then as I retrieved my camera and began to roll tape, the lights spread apart and made a diamond or cross shape, similar to the ‘Southern Cross'”.
Another resident reported that shortly after the lights appeared, three jets were seen heading west in the direction of the lights. An official from Luke Air Force Base denied any United States Air Force activity in the area.
Media coverage of the reappearance of the lights was significant, with photos and videos appearing on local and national newspapers, television news broadcasts, and web sites.
On April 22, 2008, a resident of Phoenix told a newspaper that the lights were nothing more than his neighbor releasing helium balloons with flares attached (photo left). This was confirmed by a police helicopter. The following day a Phoenix resident who declined to be identified in news reports stated he had attached flares to helium balloons and released them from his back yard.

‘UFOs’ excerpt: A look at the Phoenix Lights

It was March 13, 1997, a pleasant spring evening in Arizona, clear and still. Countless families were outside in larger-than-usual numbers gazing at the sky because Comet Hale-Bopp was to be visible that night.
Instead, beginning about 8 p.m, they were provided with an even more astounding aerial spectacle: a series of massive, eerily silent craft gliding overhead.
One central object moved from the north, southeast across the state, traveling about 200 miles from Paulden to Tucson, passing near Phoenix and surrounding communities. It was on display from 8:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Many hundreds – more likely thousands – saw it that night.
Police phone lines were jammed, and Luke Air Force Base was overwhelmed with calls. Reports of sightings from around the state flooded the lines at the National UFO Reporting Center, a well-known Seattle-based repository for UFO reports cited in the Federal Aviation Administration manual.
Even so, air-traffic controllers apparently did not register the strange objects on radar. Although descriptions of the array of lights differed, one overriding characteristic prevailed: The craft was massive; it was a solid object, not merely lights; and it often appeared to be low in the sky, blocking out the stars behind it.
No government officials were dispatched to investigate or respond to questions from alarmed and awestruck citizens. To put it bluntly, the federal government failed to react to the presence of something huge and unknown invading restricted airspace over a capital city in the United States.
Phoenix Councilwoman Frances Emma Barwood, responding to pressure from journalists and her constituents, was the only elected official to launch a public investigation.
But she said that she, too, received no information from any level of government. Barwood says she spoke with more than 700 witnesses who called her office, including police officers, pilots and former military personnel, all providing similar descriptions of the objects.
Minimal coverage was provided at the time of the incident by the media, even in Phoenix, with a few local papers and news stations making note but few following up.
Three months later, on June 18, that all changed when USA Today brought the case into the national spotlight with a front-page story. It was further catapulted onto the network evening news when the sightings were covered, although minimally, by ABC and NBC, and became known as the Phoenix Lights.
The next day, on June 19, Gov. Fife Symington announced that he was ordering a full investigation and would make “all the necessary inquiries.”
“We’re going to get to the bottom of this,” he said. “We’re going to find out if it was a UFO.”

Witness report: While at a sales conference at the Red Rocks Resort I had just gotten ready for my walk to the conference center somewhere between 7:15-7:40am. Remembering I told my family I would take a photo from my hotel of the beautiful landscape and the Vegas city skyline. I opened my curtain on this sunny morning. I got my phone ready and began to scan the view for the best picture. After a quick glance I noticed a hot air balloon to the right it was a typical looking hot air balloon. I looked to the left side of my window and noticed a dark shape that seemed contrast in color and shape against the mountain chain. I looked a few moments longer and thought wow that large shape is actually moving. I starred for a few moments and came to the firm conclusion that the object was indeed moving slowly left to right from my viewpoint. After a few minutes of personal viewing I thought I might take a video cause no one will believe me. So I began to take video and a short time into it the video stopped and a message of lack of storage came up. I thought to myself- I should have bought the 32GB phone. Any way, I took a few moments to clear up some storage glancing up to make sure the craft was still there, and it was still moving almost hovering as it had been doing. I cleared the necessary memory and began to take a picture and video again. I wondered what it could be moving so slow it didn’t look like any blimps I have seen at sporting events. It was moving too slow for conventional aircraft, it seemed large for a drone. At one point I quickly pan to the right to see the hot air balloon I had seen earlier to give some perspective. In addition, you can see cars driving underneath. while the first video is a bit shaky I made sure to lean on the window support to try to steady the video. After about four minutes I stopped recording because I had get my rear downstairs to work my booth at our convention. Honestly I do not know what it is which is why I have submitted it to you. I would be interested to hear what the locals or experts have to say about its identity. Summary, seemingly large craft dark in color, moving left to right somewhat steady buy very slow almost hovering. Traveling toward Las Vegas.

This appears to be a potential game changer for all we know about our past and origins on planet Earth.
The missing link to our past ~ ET creation?
This important study could actually prove that science is now a massive step closer to proving the Ancient Astronaut theory, as well as the hypothesis of our species being engineered by advanced aliens through DNA manipulation. The two leading researchers stated in the Icarus Journal:
“Once fixed, the code might stay unchanged over cosmological timescales. In fact, it is the most durable construct known. Therefore it represents an exceptionally reliable storage for an intelligent signature. Once the genome is appropriately rewritten, the new code with a signature will stay frozen in the cell and its progeny, which might then be delivered through space and time”.
“In other words, the human DNA is designed with such a precision that it reveals an “ensemble of arithmetical and ideographical patterns of symbolic language”.
Perhaps the ET’s are our Creators?
As a result of this intriguing study, many more researchers from around the world are now discussing about the probability of us humans being engineered somewhere ‘outside’ of our solar system by our alien creators several billion years ago – a hypothesis which has for a long time been strongly supported by the many ancient texts found on here on Planet Earth, that speak of the creation of mankind and the creator gods or deities. Perhaps it is the Aliens who are our Gods?
Another part of the study goes on to explain that life on Earth could have emerged as a direct result of ‘microbiological particles’ being carried throughout the darkness and mass of the cosmos on the back of asteroids and comets, which in affect act like huge transportation devices that go around planting life on different planets capable of sustaining it. This thought provoking theory differs a lot from the classic evolution theory, as many supporters believe that we were definitely not a random product of evolution, but quite possibly a certain creation of our makers, prepared and designed and then sent to Earth on purpose!

The two researchers Cherbak and Makukov went on to present a very detailed analysis (please see link below) of the human genome that shows a previously ignored precision-type method in the mapping between the DNA’s nucleotides and amino acids. The pair said that:
“Simple arrangements of the code reveal an ensemble of arithmetical and ideographical patterns of symbolic language. Accurate and systematic, these underlying patterns appear as a product of precision logic and nontrivial computing”.
U.I.P SUMMARY –
I guess this important find asks many important questions! Like, is it possible that we were possibly designed by advanced alien species who had a rather extended knowledge of creating life through DNA manipulation? And if this is true, does this mean that we are all Aliens on planet earth!? Is the human race possibly a product originating from another planet out there in the infinite Universe? Or could it be that we are a product which has been designed on Earth by an advanced race who anchored on this planet in the ancient past, as many age-old texts have even suggested??
Whilst it is impossible to deny the ‘panspermia hypothesis’ which claims that life on the earth could have originated from microorganisms or chemical precursors of life present somewhere out there in outer space, that were able to initiate life upon reaching a suitable environment, us guys at U.I.P find it FAR more likely that life on Earth is actually a product of a far more intelligent species who have the unique ability to create life on other planets.
No matter what, the up-coming years will reveal to us all far more information regarding of research, which that were until now either forbidden/ignored or just covered up by the Elite.
Perhaps this is why many of us feel that we are from ‘another place’.

A fascinating and at the same time rare sighting of a UFO flying over an active volcano has been recorded by the surveillance cameras tracking volcanic activity on January 3, 2016.
Accounts show that a large number of UFOs are attracted by high amounts of energy, whether it originates from a powerful lightning storm, an active volcano or even a large crowd of people. While some sightings appear to be accumulating energy from the storm clouds, possibly for recharging, others seem to be studying human behavior from above.
However, when it comes to active volcanos, UFOs tend to have a more peculiar behavior. UFO analysts have launched different theories about the unexplained pattern a UFO follows when found over an erupting mountain, but let’s first have a look at this recent case to better understand the situation.
A couple of weeks back, the cameras constantly recording the Colima Volcano surprised a UFO flying over the top just before the eruption. About five seconds into the video, a strange disc-shaped craft makes its presence noticed, and when the volcano erupts, it flies right over it. Is it likely that the passing UFO is responsible for the immediate eruption?
According to some UFO researchers, volcanos might act as a transition zone between the outer realm and the inner Earth, often referred to as Shamballa or Agartha. In the moment of the eruption, the flying craft appears to drop something inside the raging mountain.
Could this be interpreted as a propulsion system which sent the pilots of the UFO through the active volcano and further into the Inner Earth?
If this is the case, we can only guess, but there are other videos revealing UFO activity near the erupting volcanos. Could there be a link between them after all?

A California TV crew missing since November 2002, a video they left behind and a mission by U.S. Navy SEALs are the key elements in a story that claims extensive ancient ruins have been found under the ice of Antarctica. That’s according to archaeologist and adventurer Jonathan Gray of World Education Research Ltd in his free newsletter Archaeology News Flash.
A spokesman for the company is reported to have said at the time that “The U.S. government said it will seek to block the airing of a video found by Navy rescuers in Antarctica that purportedly reveals that a massive archaeological dig is underway two miles (3,200 meters) beneath the ice.”
“The AtlantisTV production crew that shot the video is still missing.” reports Gray.
Attorneys for the Beverly Hills-based AtlantisTV stressed at the time that the company’s primary concern was for the safety and welfare of the crew.
But they stated they would vigorously oppose any attempts to censor material that is clearly in the public interest and public domain.
The icy continent of Antarctica, they pointed out, belongs to no nation. "The U.S. has no jurisdiction there.”

“Two Navy officers who saw the tape described its contents to National Science Foundation (NSF) researchers upon their return to the Amundsen-Scott Station at the South Pole,” asserts Gray in his recent newsletter.

“We chalked it up to some kind of subzero-induced delusion,” he said, “until a helicopter full ofNavy SEALs landed and picked them up and took off. Now, were scratching our heads.”
Officials of the U.S. Naval Support Task Force in Antarctica predictably denied the story or the possession of any video shot by the missing AtlantisTV crew.
Navy sources said they found the video in an abandoned supply dump 100 miles (160 kilometers) west of Vokstok Station.

A team of researchers are claiming that they have discovered three ancient pyramids on the ice covered continent of Antarctica. Exact details are sketchy, but the team have released three intriguing pictures of their discovery. according to Stephen Hannard ADGUK
The international team comprises researchers from the United States, and several other, are from various European countries. Two of the huge pyramid structures were found approximately 10 miles inland, the third one not far from the coastline, clearly visible from ocean.
The team are currently planning an expedition to reach one of the pyramids to find out if it is a natural or an artificial structure. No further Details have been reported from the team as of 29 August 2012. More news is pending. Im undecided on this one guys until further confirmation, so as always you decide.
LONDON — If you happen to have looked up into the sky recently and spotted strange patterns of shifting colours, don't panic — the weird bodies of lights appearing above Britain aren't UFOs, they're nacreous clouds.
According to the Met Office, they're basically clouds that have been lit up with luminous light from below. The clouds are usually found in Northern countries during polar winter when the sun is hanging low in the sky, and their rainbow-like appearance has earned them the nickname "mother of pearl clouds".

Mashable has reached out to the Met Office for more information on the clouds' appearance over Britain, and we will update this article when we receive a response.
UPDATED 16:45 2 FEBRUARY: The Met Office have contacted Mashable with more information about the clouds.
"Currently, we are able to catch sight of them because cold air which usually circulates around polar regions in the stratosphere (the stratospheric polar vortex) has been displaced from its usual position over the north pole to be over the UK," a Met Office spokesperson said.
"Our weather forecast models indicate the cold polar vortex will remain nearby for the next few days, so we should be able to see Nacreous Clouds when the skies are clear.
"The position of the vortex shifts towards the end of the week taking the coldest air, and the Nacreous Clouds, away from above the UK."

We start with a motorist who reported seeing lights in the sky above Hythewho said he had no idea what he saw– but was sure was not a plane or helicopter.
Matt Law, 29, had been driving towards Dymchurch in March 2014 to take his dog Jessie for a run when he saw triangular lights in front of him.
As he got closer, they did not move so he came to a halt directly below, opened his window and found there was no sound.
Perplexed, he watched as the lights disappeared.
He told the Herald: "I'm not saying it was a flying saucer – I'm a bit of a sceptic – but it was no plane or helicopter."
Motorcyclist Michael D was "terrified" when a UFO hovered over his car while he travelled at about 35 miles per hour.
The witness reported online he had been riding home from a friend's house when he spotted a "massive flying thing" in the sky. The unknown entity hovered above him as he drove from Hawkinge towards Canterbury at about 1.50am on December 27 2014.
He said: "I caught up with it and saw it had a green light on one side and red on the other, both flashing slowly with a dot of white underneath. It was as if it stopped over me but had no sound."
Footage we showed of strange lights seen flying over a home in Folkestone was described as "intriguing" by one of the UK's foremost experts on UFOs.

When shown the clip by the Herald, Nick Pope, who investigated UFOs for the Ministry of Defence, said: "Assuming it's genuine, it's an intriguing piece of footage."
A pensioner who spotted an unidentified flying object over his home in Cheriton claimed visitors from another world are watching us.
That was the opinion of former Ministry of Defence worker Derek Clarke, who said he saw a UFO over his home in Biggins Wood Road in 2010.
The skies over Lydd are the site of an unsolved UFO incident, according to official Government documents released in 2008.
The reports showed a passenger plane was involved in a near miss with an unidentified flying object over Kent.
The incident, reported in April 1991, involved a fast-moving object thought, at first, to be a missile.

Government letters, reports from the Folkestone Herald and details of an RAF investigation into a UFO sighting near former MP Michael Howard's home featured in UFO files released by the Ministry of Defence.
Eyewitnesses in Burmarsh and New Romney saw the ''humming'' object, the size of two passenger planes, near Mr Howard's home on March 8 1997, when he was serving as home secretary for the Conservative government.
Sophie Wadleigh, 25, from Hythe, reported the sighting to the Folkestone Herald.
She told the newspaper: ''It was so peculiar, it all felt really odd and I heard this humming noise."

This first and one of the most compelling photos is taken from a released CIA report published on July 29, 1952. The paper is titled "Recent Sightings of Unexplained Objects." In this document, the CIA admits that there are unidentified objects near U.S. military installations that they could not identify. Specifically, it reads:
Recent reports reaching CIA indicated that further action was desirable... At this time, the reports of incidents convince us that there is something going on that must have immediate attention... Sightings of unexplained objects at great altitudes and travelling at high speeds in the vicinity of major U.S. defense installations are of such nature that they are not attributable to natural phenomenon or known types of aerial vehicles."

On May 13, 2004 Jaime Maussan ( above ) released his interview of Mexican Air Force pilots showing an infrared video footage from a military air patrol on March 5, 2004 against drug smuggling, that shows at least 11 very hot “spheres” moving irregularly with apparent great speed. Location: Over Campeche state, Mexico. The objects could not be seen with the naked eye, neither the crew on board nor ground personnel confirmed any radar contact with the objects in question. The crew did however pick up an earlier radar contact of an object moving at 60 mph which was later described as a lonely truck on the highway below which has been located to the front of the two engine Merlin C26A aircraft whereas the infrared targets were picked up through a dome mounted IR-system a little later at abt. -130° azimuth relative to the aircraft’s flight direction in its 8 o’clock position.
Skeptics
Skeptics have suggested that the UFOs were actually oil platform burn-off flares of the Cantarell oil field located around19°22′04″N 92°00′25″W / 19.36778°N 92.00694°W / 19.36778; -92.00694, some 240 kilometres (149 mi) to the north west of the aircraft. This would have placed the objects near the horizon so as to appear on the same level as the aircraft. Mexican Air Force pilots filmed 11 unidentified flying objects in the skies over southern Campeche state in Mexico, a Mexican Defense Department spokesman confirmed Tuesday. A videotape was made widely available to the news media.

MEXICO CITY (AP) – Mexican Air Force pilots filmed 11 unidentified flying objects in the skies over southern Campeche state, a Defense Department spokesman confirmed Tuesday.
A videotape made widely available to the news media on Tuesday shows the bright objects, some sharp points of light and others like large headlights, moving rapidly in what appears to be a late-evening sky.
The lights were filmed on March 5 by pilots using infrared equipment. They appeared to be flying at an altitude of about 3,500 meters (11,480 feet), and allegedly surrounded the Air Force jet as it conducted routine anti-drug trafficking vigilance in Campeche. Only three of the objects showed up on the plane’s radar.
“Was I afraid? Yes. A little afraid because we were facing something that had never happened before,” said radar operator Lt. German Marin in a taped interview made public Tuesday.
“I couldn’t say what it was … but I think they’re completely real,” added Lt. Mario Adrian Vazquez, the infrared equipment operator. Vazquez insisted that there was no way to alter the recorded images.
The plane’s captain, Maj. Magdaleno Castanon, said the military jets chased the lights “and I believe they could feel we were pursuing them.”
When the jets stopped following the objects, they disappeared, he said.
A Defense Department spokesman confirmed Tuesday that the videotape was filmed by members of the Mexican Air Force. The spokesman declined to comment further and spoke on customary condition of anonymity.
The video was first aired on national television Monday night then again at a news conference Tuesday by Jaime Maussan, a Mexican investigator who has dedicated the past 10 years to studying UFOs.
“This is historic news,” Maussan told reporters. “Hundreds of videos (of UFOs) exist, but none had the backing of the armed forces of any country. … The armed forces don’t perpetuate frauds.”
Maussan said Secretary of Defense Gen. Ricardo Vega Garcia gave him the video on April 22.
C26A crew members/eye witnesses

Following yesterday’s news story about the sighting of eleven UFOs by a Mexican Military aircraft, the Mexican Department of Defense – under Secretary of Defense General Clemente Vega Garcia, commander of all armed forces in the country – have taken the unprecedented step of publically confirming the incident. The press conference took place at the Hotel Sevilla Palace in Mexico city and international media representatives were invited.
JAIME MAUSSAN’S PRESS BRIEFING DOCUMENT:
THE FACTS: On April 20, 2004 Jaime Maussan was contacted by a high officer of the Department of Defense to have a private meeting and discuss a subject of a high relevant matter. The next day Maussan met General Clemente Vega Garcia, Secretary of Defense and his major staff and was informed about an incident that took place on March 5, 2004 on the aerial space of Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche where an Air Force Merlín C26A Bimotor airplane was doing a routine flight to detect a smuggling drug airplane during an ant-narcotics operation.
The Merlin C26A was equipped with a high tech advanced digital equipment to register and record all the activities during the operation. Powerful sensor detectors like a FLIR STAR ZAPPHIR II and a RADAR AN/PS 143 BRAVO VICTOR 3 were being used by qualified personal aboard the airplane and all the operation was being recorded both in normal and infrared mode. The airplane was under the command of Mayor Magdaleno Jasso Núñez.
The FLIR operator was Lt. Mario Adrián Vázquez and the RADAR operator Lt. German Ramirez, all of them members of the 501 Aerial Squadron. This airplane is programmed only for surveillance and detection procedures, not for interception or combat manouvres. Their duty is to detect and identify drug dealers flights and then immediately report them to the base where combat planes are scrambled to intercept those narcotics smugglers. At approximately 17:00 PM the Merlin C26A detected an unknown traffic at 10,500 feet over Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche airspace and according to the protocol and suspecting a drug dealer airplane Mayor Magdaleno Jasso made a maneuver to approach the unidentified traffic at certain range to get a close look and record the target with their equipment.
At the same time Mayor Jasso reported by radio to the base that a possible suspect was detected requesting the interceptor planes to be in alert condition. The RADAR AN/PS 143 BRAVO VICTOR 3 was detecting the unknown traffic and the FLIR STAR ZAPPHIR II was recording the object in infrared. As the Merlin C26A tried to approach the unknown traffic to make a visual identification it suddenly in a surprising maneuver escaped flying away at tremendous speed.
By this time Mayor Jasso tried to persecute the target but it was very fast. All this was being recorded by the FLAIR and also the radio conversations with the base describing the unexpected maneuver of the unknown. However the C26A still have not made visual contact with the unknown object. Just some moments passed when suddenly the unknown object returned and began following the Merlin C26A in a surprising situation.
This was detected by the RADAR and the FLIR while the personal aboard were trying to make visual contact of the unidentified traffic now following them. In seconds the equipment detected now not only one but two traffics following them. The images in both RADAR and the FLIR were clear and unmistakable. But both pilot and personal still couldn’t have visual contact with these two traffics following them adding a great suspense to this disconcerting situation. Mayor Magdaleno Jasso reported to the base the incident that was taking place giving detail of all the information registered by the equipment while keep trying to make visual contact of the unknowns. The FLIR kept recording in infrared every movement made by the two unknown objects that seemed to be keeping their distance from the C26A but still following it. The personal aboard the Merlin C26A were confused and disconcerted seeing the images on the FLIR and the RADAR asking themselves what was going on with this situation.
THE INCIDENT TURNS MORE DRAMATIC
But the stressing moment that the C26A crew were passing through was just the beginning of something more dramatic that will turn their undesirable experience into a real nightmare. Some minutes passed while the Mexican Air Force Merlin C26A crew continued making maneuvers to have a visual contact of the unknowns because despite both RADAR and FLIR were showing perfectly clear both unidentified objects for unexplained reasons there was not a visual contact even that the objects by this time were at close range. It was during this round and round maneuvers to identify these two objects that something amazing happened. In a matter of seconds more unknown objects arrived to the scene and the disconcert of the C26A crew was total.
The RADAR and the FLIR detected immediately the presence of nine new objects of the same size and characteristics, unknown objects that arrived to the scene surprisingly like coming from nowhere.
Now the situation has entered into a high level of danger so Mayor Magdaleno Jasso reported by radio to the base this new situation requesting instructions. But the most bizarre thing was that even though there were eleven unknown objects close to them, still the crew couldn’t see them, no visual contact with the unknowns was possible for some reason never experienced before by these high trained men. However the high tech sophisticated equipment and sensors were not lying, there were eleven targets outside them with unpredictable intentions.
At the middle of a complete confusion and disconcert among the C26A crew the unknown objects suddenly made a maneuver surrounding the Mexican Air Force airplane in a circle at close range. The RADAR and FLIR presented an image of an eleven objects near by in a circle formation around the Merlin C26A. The situation turned out of control. Mayor Magdaleno Jasso reported to the base that the C26A situation was now in red alert, surrounded by eleven mysterious round shaped objects camouflaged with a certain unknown advanced technology that avoid any visual contact of them.
However Mayor Jasso kept the calm as well as the crew who were working fast measuring and recording every detail of this unique incident conscientious of their duty as military and trained men. Confronting this situation surrounded by unidentified objects in an unpredictable ending Mayor Magdaleno Jasso took the decision of turning out all the airplane lights and wait to see what happened. Moments of high suspense lived by the crew while the FLIR was recording the images of those bright objects even that visual contact was not possible, moments of silence and uncertainty.
The C26A crew kept calmed doing their duty, documenting every moment of the strange incident while Mayor Jasso continued in contact with the base. After some stressing minutes the eleven objects disappeared giving an end to the strange experience that these members of the 501 Aerial Squadron just lived. The Merlin C26A returned safe to the Air Force Base and Mayor Magdaleno Jasso prepared a complete report of the incident along with the C26A crew. The Secretary of the Defense took notice of Mayor Jasso’s report and began a full investigation studying and evaluating every element of the case.
Statements of the crew, images, lectures, measurements of all the equipment as well as a complete evaluation of the meteorological data . The incident was taken very seriously by the Department of Defense Staff and after several weeks of investigation they decided under the command of General Clemente Vega Garcia to contact researcher and TV journalist Jaime Maussan for a special collaboration in this investigation as an experienced researcher in these matters. On April 22, 2004 General Clemente Vega, Secretary of Defense gave Jaime Maussan a copy of all the tapes and data collected by the Merlin C26A during the incident for study, evaluation and analysis by Maussan’s research team as complement of this investigation and as an external collaborating source trying to establish a definition of the possible motives and consequences of the March 5, 2004 incident.
General Vega as well as his staff were very open to discuss the subject and showed their legitimate interest in conducting this investigation in order to establish the truth of what happened. General Vega authorized the Merlin C26A crew to give Jaime Maussan the interviews needed without any censorship, giving all the facilities to present this case to the Mexican people, an historic and unprecedented decision that will open a new era of mutual collaboration among the Mexican ufologists and the military forces, a collaboration based in respect and interest to find the truth of the intense UFO activity we have been experiencing here in Mexico since the beginning of the Amazing Mexican UFO Wave back in July 11, 1991.
This new era of relationship among the Mexican UFO witnesses, skywatchers, ufologists and our military forces will try to establish and give form to a new legislation in our law system focused to be prepared for any incident involving these unidentified flying objects, our people, our commercial and military airplanes etc. for learning and understanding what are we going to do and how are we going to confront this reality.
Summary:
On April 20, 2004, Mexican UFO investigator and television personality Jaime Maussan was summoned by Mexico’s Department of Defense to a private meeting to discuss a matter of national importance. Maussan met with General Clemente Vega Garcia, Secretary of Defense, and other members of his staff. Maussan was informed that on March 5, an extraordinary incident took place in the skies over Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche.
Anti-Narcotics Operation:
A Mexican Air Force Merlin C26A bi-motor airplance was performing routine duties to detect drug smuggling airplanes, in a anti-narcotics operation. The plane had a high-tech FLIR STAR ZAPPHIR II and a RADAR AN/PS 143 BRAVO VICTOR 3, which implements infrared video. Mayor Magdaleno Jasso Núñez was the commander of the plane, Lt. Mario Adrian Vasquez was FLIR operator, and Lt. German Ramirez was radar operator-all three were members of the 501 Aerial Squadron.
Unknown Target Detected:
The plane was not a combat plane-its mission was to detect planes without flight plans, and report their find to base headquarters, where combat planes would be scrambled to encounter the smugglers. At 17:00 hours, the Merlin detected unknown traffic at 10,500 feet over Ciudad del Carmen. The plane then flew closer to the unknown target to record it with their equipment. UFO Follows Plane:
The Merlin’s radar was painting the object, and the infrared cameras were filming it. The Merlin attempted to move closer yet for a visual confirmation, but as it did, the unknown target made a surprise maneuver, and flew away at great speed. The entire event was being recorded, and the details were being reported as they occurred to base. Without warning, the unknown object suddenly reappeared, and began following the Merlin.
No Visual Contact:
In a moment, the Merlin’s radar was now seeing two objects, but there had still been no visual contact. The crew became alarmed because they could not make a maneuver that would enable a visual confirmation of the unknown objects. In a minute or two, there would be nine more objects , which seemed to come from out of nowhere. In another unexpected move, the eleven unknown objects were now circling the Merlin.
Full Investigation Ordered:
Though close enough to see the unknowns, the crew aboard the Merlin stated the objects must have been invisible. After some stressful moments, suddenly the eleven UFOs were gone-nowhere to be seen or recorded on camera. The Merlin returned to the Air Force base, and Jasso prepared a full report on the incident. After the Secretary of the Defense read Jasso’s report, he ordered a full investigation into the incident.
Air Force Freely Releases Information:
On April 22, 2004, General Clemente Vega, Secretary of Defense contacted Maussan and his research team, and turned over all of the tapes and information collected by the Merlin. In a rare move, the Mexican military declared that they were open to discuss and evaluate the sighting of the UFOs without suppressing any information from the public. This collaboration between the military and the general public had its beginnings during the Mexico UFO Wave of 1991.
Infrared Video of UFOs:
The extraordinary FLIR video of the eleven unknown objects flying over Campeche became news all over the world. UFO investigators were thrilled to finally have solid, undeniable evidence of the existence of UFOs flying over our skies. The UFO video was freely shared over the Internet, and discussed on many UFO web sites, and forums.
Solid Proof:
The debunkers would get in their two-cents worth, claiming that the glowing objects recorded by the camera of the Merlin plane were nothing more than oil field fires bouncing off of the clouds. This explanation has been accepted by some, but many hold to the film as solid proof of UFOs.

“A friend said, he would never forget the sight of the alien looking TR-3B based at Papoose. The pitch black, triangular shaped TR-3B was rarely mentioned–and then, only in hushed whispers–at the Groom Lake facility where he worked. The craft had flown over the Groom Lake runway in complete silence and magically stopped above Area S-4. It hovered silently in the same position, for some 10 minutes, before gently settling vertically to the tarmac. At times a corona of silver blue light glowed around the circumference of the massive TR-3B. The operational model is 600 feet across.” The TR-3B is Code named Astra. The tactical reconnaissance TR-3B first operational flight was in the early 90s. The triangular shaped nuclear powered aerospace platform was developed under the Top Secret, Aurora Program with SDI and black budget monies. At least 3 of the billion dollar plus TR-3Bs were flying by 1994. The Aurora is the most classified aerospace development program in existence. The TR-3B is the most exotic vehicle created by the Aurora Program. It is funded and operationally tasked by the National Reconnaissance Office, the NSA, and the CIA. The TR-3B flying triangle is not fiction and was built with technology available in the mid 80s. Not every UFO spotted is one of theirs.
The TR-3B vehicles outer coating is reactive to electrical Radar stimulation and can change reflectiveness, radar absorptiveness, and color. This polymer skin, when used in conjunction with the TR-3Bs Electronic Counter Measures and, ECCM, can make the vehicle look like a small aircraft, or a flying cylinder–or even trick radar receivers into falsely detecting a variety of aircraft, no aircraft, or several aircraft at various locations. A circular, plasma filled accelerator ring called the Magnetic Field Disrupter, surrounds the rotatable crew compartment and is far ahead of any imaginable technology. Sandia and Livermore laboratories developed the reverse engineered MFD technology. The government will go to any lengths to protect this technology. The plasma, mercury based, is pressurized at 250,000 atmospheres at a temperature of 150 degrees Kelvin and accelerated to 50,000 rpm to create a super-conductive plasma with the resulting gravity disruption. The MFD generates a magnetic vortex field, which disrupts or neutralizes the effects of gravity on mass within proximity, by 89 percent. Do not misunderstand. This is not antigravity. Anti-gravity provides a repulsive force that can be used for propulsion. The MFD creates a disruption of the Earth’s gravitational field upon the mass within the circular accelerator. The mass of the circular accelerator and all mass within the accelerator, such as the crew capsule, avionics, MFD systems, fuels, crew environmental systems, and the nuclear reactor, are reduced by 89%. This causes the effect of making the vehicle extremely light and able to outperform and outmaneuver any craft yet constructed–except, of course, those UFOs we did not build.
The TR-3B is a high altitude, stealth, reconnaissance platform with an indefinite loiter time. Once you get it up there at speed, it doesnt take much propulsion to maintain altitude. At Groom Lake their have been whispered rumours of a new element that acts as a catalyst to the plasma. With the vehicle mass reduced by 89%, the craft can travel at Mach 9, vertically or horizontally. My sources say the performance is limited only the stresses that the human pilots can endure. Which is a lot, really, considering along with the 89% reduction in mass, the G forces are also reduced by 89%.
The TR-3Bs propulsion is provided by 3 multimode thrusters mounted at each bottom corner of the triangular platform. The TR-3 is a sub-Mach 9 vehicle until it reaches altitudes above l20,000 feet–then God knows how fast it can go! The 3 multimode rocket engines mounted under each corner of the craft use hydrogen or methane and oxygen as a propellent. In a liquid oxygen/hydrogen rocket system, 85% of the propellent mass is oxygen. The nuclear thermal rocket engine uses a hydrogen propellent, augmented with oxygen for additional thrust. The reactor heats the liquid hydrogen and injects liquid oxygen in the supersonic nozzle, so that the hydrogen burns concurrently in the liquid oxygen afterburner. The multimode propulsion system can; operate in the atmosphere, with thrust provided by the nuclear reactor, in the upper atmosphere, with hydrogen propulsion, and in orbit, with the combined hydrogen oxygen propulsion. What you have to remember is, that the 3 rocket engines only have to propel 11 percent of the mass of the Top Secret TR-3B. The engines are reportedly built by Rockwell. Many sightings of triangular UFOs are not alien vehicles but the top secret TR-3B. The NSA, NRO, CIA, and USAF have been playing a shell game with aircraft nomenclature – creating the TR-3, modified to the TR-3A, the TR-3B, and the Teir 2, 3, and 4, with suffixes like Plus or Minus added on to confuse further the fact that each of these designators is a different aircraft and not the same aerospace vehicle. A TR-3B is as different from a TR-3A as a banana is from a grape. Some of these vehicles are manned and others are unmanned.

The craft is a sub mach 9 craft, at 120,000 feet,and below.Its never been tested any higher, so who know its limits. The first pictures ever taken of the TR3B were in Belgium March 31 1990 (LINK), it was again sighted in Idaho in 2000 when it flew within 200 feet of some people camping. The one thing that makes it stick out is the three lights,one on each corner, and one main light in the center
The campers said it was noiseless except for a small huming,when it moved. Rumors that the pending official disclosure of the existence of the TB3R a been around for a while now. Most want to know how it works, but I’m sure its going to be a while before it becomes public.

This is one of the most bizarre multiple-witness UFO cases ever recorded in the UK and it rivals the famous 1955 Kelly-Hopkinsville (Green Men Case) for strangeness. The entire 1994 Silbury Hill event is detailed in 11 pages by Andrew Collins in his 2012 book Lightquest. This article is only a brief synopsis of the events and subsequent experiences reported by the witnesses. The case is little known outside the UK but is clearly one of the most important cases in UFO history. The book Lightquest includes several full-page illustrations of the objects and the beings encountered by the witnesses.
In July 1994 three people climbed England’s Silbury Hill and planned to spend the night atop the 131-foot high mound to watch for possible crop circle activity. The three people (two men and a woman) were soon met by two other friends, but the two friends left shortly before dark. A group of 5-6 teenagers was also on the summit of the mound at the same time. The teenagers fell asleep around midnight as fog began to encircle the mound and they appeared to be “frozen” or deeply asleep when the strangeness began to unfold.
Around 1:00 am the three witnesses heard what they thought were the sounds of someone ascending the hill by coming straight up the side—not by using the spiral path that leads up and around the hill. Looking over the side of the steep mound they thought they could see small dark forms moving around, forms resembling children, but their attention was immediately grabbed by the sight of an orange fireball appearing about a mile away—slowly floating above the ground. When all three people looked at the orange, fiery orb another fireball immediately appeared beside the first. At that distance the witnesses described them as looking like flaming, orange torches. Immediately they smelled sulfur and something like burning rubber and they could hear dogs in the distance now barking wildly. The fireballs floated quickly toward the three witnesses and when the orbs were about 170 yards away from the mound, one of the witnesses turned on a flashlight. Immediately the orange orbs stopped moving. The witnesses then could clearly see a “structured form” hanging below each of the orange orbs. The balls of orange fire appeared to be about 2-feet in diameter, but the objects below each were larger. The objects under the orbs were tetrahedron shaped—a three-sided pyramid—and floating above the ground. When the flashlight was turned off, the floating lights continued moving toward them. They watched as what looked like electrical discharges occasionally flashed to the ground from the orbs. When the forms got closer, the witnesses were stunned by what they saw.
Inside both of the now translucent pyramid-shaped objects they could see a small being sitting with crossed legs and hands clasped on their laps. The beings were glowing orange and were estimated to have been 4-5 feet tall. The female witness — for reasons she could not explain — blurted out, “They’re little people.” The fireballs floated higher and eventually elevated to about 10 feet above the hill and about 15-20 feet away from the witnesses. At that point, everything seemed to mentally move in slow motion. They heard a cracking sound and what seemed to be whispering. One of the witnesses believed that the creatures were somehow communicating with them. As the orange glow from the objects was reflected onto the surrounding trees and the hill, both fireballs silently expanded in a massive and blinding flash of light.
The orbs and dangling pyramid shaped objects reappeared after the light flash subsided and then floated down the hill, they then joined together into a single fireball, and moved over a nearby road to an adjacent field. It was at this point the most bizarre event occurred.
One of the humanoid beings slowly emerged from the fireball, but as it emerged it was holding the hand of the other humanoid, also pulling it out of the orb. Both of the orange, glowing beings floated next to the orb, hand-in-hand, and then they re-entered the fireball. At that moment from behind the object several more orange orbs suddenly appeared, numbering from 3-4. Below each of these the witnesses could see a translucent tetrahedron with a small humanoid being sitting inside. The group of orange objects then moved away from Silbury following a road toward the town of Marlborough, illuminating the road as they moved.
Unexpectedly, a car then appeared on the road moving toward the lights. In response, the orange orbs merged into a single light and shrank to the size of a tennis ball and rapidly jumped off the road into a hedgerow. As the three witnesses saw the car then hit its brakes, a man suddenly came up to the top of the hill and startled them. He said he had been sleeping on a portion of the other side of the hill and was awakened. Then, all 4 witnesses saw the tennis-ball size light reappear and rapidly move toward Silbury Hill and spin around it. Shortly thereafter the witnesses saw what they described as a string of multi-colored lights moving up a nearby hill and over it out of sight.
The three main witnesses decided to tell no one about their experience, but for years thereafter they were haunted by the experience. Nightmares, fear, changes in career, and various other emotional issues emerged. Andrew Collins, who is well-known and respected in that area of the UK, extensively interviewed all of the witnesses while researching the book Lightquest and was convinced of their honesty. The first time that the story was publicly revealed was in his book.
The area around Silbury and nearby Avebury is a hotbed of strange reports: UFOs, crop circles, humanoids, strange lights, and apparitional phenomena are frequently reported. Around 2006 my wife and I stayed with the Collins’s for a week at Avebury exploring Silbury, the Avebury circle, and nearby sites. We spent several nights walking the standing stone grassy avenues leading for miles in various directions to different sites. Oddly, each night we observed small orbs of blue/green/white lights emanating from the hills running alongside the avenues.

I was laying on the roof of a building with a friend while we were waiting on a buddy to get out of class. My friend was walking around on the roof while I was lying down. I was staring up at the stars when I saw a bright white elongated diamond shape appear out of nowhere. The object looked as though it was coming through the atmosphere because it had a contrail but the color was nothing like a comet’s trail; It was more of a pink color. The ‘front’ of it was the elongated, more acute angle (i.e. the pointier end of the diamond). It traveled a short distance in a straight line before it disappeared. (approx. 2 inches if I held my arm straight up). The contrail seemed to be coming off of the object and disappeared just as the object did. At this point I yelled “Holy ****! Dude did you see that?” Just as I was saying this I saw another white diamond appear in the same area of sky. This time the contrail was red/purple. The object flew perpendicular to the first object’s path. It seemed a little bit bigger than the first one, but I am not sure if it was the same object a little closer or if it was a second object. This object was visible for the same amount of time (1-2 seconds) before it vanished just like the first one. I wanted to make sure my friend saw it, so I yelled “Look up!” and pointed towards the area as the second one was going by. By the time he looked up it had vanished. Then a third diamond appeared in the same area of sky! This time its path was parallel to the previous one; the flight path of all three basically made the shape of a capital ‘H’. It was bright white like the others but there was no trail coming off of the object on this pass. It moved slower this time and it was much closer; I could actually see the diamond shape spin on its long axis! Again, it vanished after a couple of seconds had passed.
I asked my friend if he saw it too, he said “Yea, what the hell was that?!” (More like he yelled in a panicked tone). Of course, I had no answer for him. At this point I felt a wave of anxiety come over me and I wanted to get off of the roof as quickly as possible and go somewhere inside. So we both hurried down to the ground and went indoors. I asked him what he saw and he basically said it looked like a bright spinning arrowhead that appeared and disappeared. The images of them have been burned into my memory and I have reflected upon that moment quite often. I am not sure if it was the same object slowly making its way through the atmosphere or three separate objects. I am also not sure if the brightness of the object was from the heat produced by an object entering the atmosphere, but that is the only explanation I can think of; it still bugs me that the third sighting had no trail but was still bright white. I simply do not know how to rationalize it.

In the five-plus decades that humans have managed to escape from Earth's gravity well, Jan. 31 has been a busier day than usual.
Today marks the 55th anniversary of the Mercury Redstone-2 launch, which carried Ham the chimpanzee into space; the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Soviet moon lander Luna 9; and the 45th anniversary of the launch of Apollo 14, the third crewed lunar landing.
These anniversaries mark significant milestones in humanity's journey toward the stars. One was a precursor to NASA's first human spaceflight, one was a critical step in getting human technology all the way to the moon and one was the first lunar mission following a nearly disastrous attempt to put humans on the moon. First chimp in space
The Mercury Redstone-2 (MR-2) mission, which launched on Jan. 31, 1961, was one of a series of flights that laid the groundwork for eventually putting humans into space. Among the animals that NASA sent to space as part of that preparation was Ham the chimpanzee, the first chimp in space. Ham returned safely to Earth, but other primates perished during American test flights in the 1940s and 1950s.
Only a few months later, on April 12, 1961, Yuri Gagarin became the first person ever to fly in space. On May 5, 1961, Alan Shepard took off aboard another Mercury Redstone rocket, becoming the first American in space.
Lost Luna 9

The Luna 9 probe was the first spacecraft to make a soft landing on an extraterrestrial body. It took off on Jan. 31, 1966, and made it to the moon on Feb. 3 of that year. It sent back close-range images of the surface of the moon, and represented an incredible feat of spaceflight engineering.
But to this day, no one knows exactly where Luna 9 came to rest. There was no way to precisely track its location. As recently as last November, researchers announced they'd be searching for Luna 9 using NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter.

The three crewmembers of Apollo 14 left Earth on Jan. 31, 1971. It would become the third crewed mission to successfully reach the surface of the moon. (The nearly disastrous Apollo 13 mission was the third attempt at a crewed moon landing.)
The crew consisted of Alan Shepard, Edgar Mitchell and Stuart Roosa. Shepard surprised the world when, just before the crew returned home, he pulled out a six iron and teed off on the lunar surface. The crew returned to Earth on Feb. 9.

Since viewers first heard the famous tagline, "… to boldly go where no man has gone before," "Star Trek" has represented the hope of what space — “the final frontier” — can mean for humanity in a few centuries.
Over several television series and films, the franchise mostly follows the adventures of crews on the USS Enterprise. Humanity is just one of a vast number of alien species participating in a quasi-military organization called Starfleet, whose main goal is to explore the universe for scientific reasons. Starfleet has strict rules about interacting with more primitive species and protecting uncolonized planets, but from time to time the crews in the show run afoul of these rules — sometimes with tragic results.
General franchise history and overview
"Star Trek" was created in the 1960s by Gene Roddenberry, a WWII veteran who began his screenwriting career writing freelance scripts while with the Los Angeles Police Department. Famously, NBC executives did not like the first pilot. They reportedly said the show had too little action and was “too cerebral” for viewers; however, they offered the chance for a second pilot. Except for an alien called Spock (Leonard Nimoy), the cast was switched out for a different crew led by Captain James T. Kirk (William Shatner).
"Star Trek" first aired in 1966. The series followed the adventures of the USS Enterprise on a five-year mission to “explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before.” The show was cancelled in 1968 due to ratings concerns, but did well enough in syndication to justify several Hollywood films.
The original series (often referred to as "TOS") spawned six motion pictures between 1979 and 1991 (plus a partial appearance by some members of the original crew in a 1994 "Star Trek" film). Along with an animated series (1973-74), this helped keep the series alive in the minds of fans.
Syndication success eventually led to the creation of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987-1994), which was set many years after the original series, with a new USS Enterprise helmed by Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart). This generation of "Star Trek" tackled issues such as racism, gender and torture, and remains one of the most popularly cited series to this day. "TNG" eventually moved into theaters, with four films between 1994 and 2002.
Roddenberry died in 1991. While "TNG" was still on the air, a different series, "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" (1993-1999), premiered. The show followed the exploits of a crew on a space station, rather than the traditional starship.
"Star Trek" also saw two more commercial TV series. "Star Trek: Voyager" (1995-2001) followed the exploits of a crew that was stranded in space, led by the series' first main female captain, Kathryn Janeway (Kate Mulgrew). Finally, "Enterprise" (2001-2005) took to the air as a prequel to the events of The Original Series, where Jonathan Archer (Scott Bakula) helmed the first warp-drive capable Enterprise.
"Enterprise" was cancelled in 2005, but four years later The Original Series came back to Hollywood with a reboot of the original characters of Kirk, Spock, and McCoy — plus the rest of the main crew. The 2009 film was a hit and has so far spawned three other films – "Star Trek: Into Darkness" (2013), "Star Trek Beyond" (2016) and an untitled film in the works for 2019.
Meanwhile, Star Trek is expected to return to television – at least through CBS streaming – in 2017, when an untitled series makes its debut.
Franchise impact on real-life space exploration
Perhaps the most famous example of Star Trek inspiring real-life took place in the 1970s. The United States was preparing to run test flights of the space shuttle program using a prototype vehicle called Constitution. In response, thousands of "Star Trek" fans staged a write-in campaign to the White House and NASA asking for the prototype shuttle to be named Enterprise. When Enterprise was indeed unveiled in 1976, most of the main cast of TOS was on hand. Enterprise was not designed to fly in space, however.
Decades later, space tourism company Virgin Galactic named one of its planned spacecraft VSS Enterprise, after the television show. The spacecraft, built in 2004, did several in-atmosphere tests in preparation for eventually bringing it and other prototypes into space. VSS Enterprise, however, was destroyed in 2014 during a crash that killed one pilot and severely injured another. The National Transport Safety Board later determined a unique “feathering” system — intended to slow down the spacecraft as it was in the upper atmosphere — deployed early and was the leading cause of the crash.
A few astronauts have appeared on "Star Trek" over the years, according to fan site Memory Alpha. Mae Jamieson is the first one the site records as appearing on a show; she was on the 1993 sixth season episode of TNG's “Second Chances,” where she was visited by TOS' Uhura (Nichelle Nichols). While in space during STS-47, Jamieson reportedly began shifts with Mission Control by quoting Uhura's famous line: “Hailing frequencies are open.” The next recorded astronauts were Mike Fincke and Terry Virts, who appeared on the series finale of "Enterprise" in 2005.
While no "Star Trek" regular actor has flown in space (yet), several of them have recorded supportive messages for NASA, such as Nichols and Wil Wheaton. Nichols not only did a video message, but also flew on NASA's SOFIA (Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy) aircraft in 2015.
"Star Trek" actors have also bantered with real astronauts on Twitter, most notably early in Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield's International Space Station mission in 2012-13 when he spoke with William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Wil Wheaton and George Takei. (Shatner asked: “Are you tweeting from space?” to which Hadfield replied, “Yes, Standard Orbit, Captain. And we're detecting signs of life from the surface.") After Nimoy died in February 2015, NASA sent out a tweet honoring the actor: "RIP Leonard Nimoy. So many of us at NASA were inspired by Star Trek. Boldly go…"
Star Trek tech
Several early "Star Trek" technologies have also made their way into our everyday lives. "Communicators" are now cell phones, which connect to each other via satellite. Tricorders, which were used to gather medical information, are now available as MRIs — some of which are being developed for space. Enterprise crewmembers can also be seen using tablet computers, and global positioning satellites, which can zero in on your position on the planet, are similar to how teleportation devices worked on the show.
However, human teleportation still eludes us, as does faster-than-light warp drive. In 2015, NASA downplayed several media reports that a “faster-than-light” EM Drive they were developing was on the verge of a breakthrough. “NASA is not working on 'warp drive' technology,” officials said, adding that the EM Drive was “a small effort that has not yet shown any tangible results.” Teleportation, meanwhile, hasonly been achieved on the quantum scale across a few miles.
List of film and TV appearances
Numerous fan-made productions and series spinoffs (such as books and comic books) have been produced; however, this list represents the "official" films and television series that have been released. There are plans to release a fourth in the “rebooted” series of "Star Trek" films in 2019, and to start a new television series via streaming in 2017.
This time of year most people are thinking about how they can tidy up around the house and de-clutter their New Year. Cleaning up is a great emotional challenge that often ends in procrastination. But for NASA and other space agencies around the world, decluttering is a 24x7x365 day obsession.
Launching rockets and satellites into space is so expensive, $10,000 a pound, that fixing the space debris problem is essential to saving money and lives as well as keeping dreams of multi-planet exploration alive. Should spaceships and satellites be damaged or destroyed by space junk, these dreams and aspirations will be sabotaged. If humans are to become spacefarers, we must clean up after ourselves!
Annoying Traffic Jams
Only people in Los Angeles, Bangkok, Beijing and other chronically congested cities can understand how annoying traffic jams can be. Imagine getting stuck in a space traffic jam hundreds of miles from Earth and floating aimlessly amongst debris that could puncture holes in your spacecraft at any moment. For all intents and purposes, space junk is a dangerous human-created asteroid belt.

Developing Technology to Clean Up Space
Unfortunately, according to NASA, 65% of debris includes cataloged objects produced by more than 250 explosions and collisions. All told, the number of space debris objects exceeds 30,000. According to reports, the Chinese missile that exploded in 2007 generated 2,000 pieces of debris in just one mishap.
Space junk has built up over six decades and may not just hinder space exploration but the billions of dollars of communication and research satellites circling the globe and providing critical data to researchers on the ground.

Elon Musk's dream of creating a superfast new transportation system got a step closer to reality over the weekend.
On Saturday (Jan. 30), a team from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) won the first stage of the SpaceX Hyperloop design competition, which was held at Texas A&M University in College Station.
The MIT grad students beat out more than 100 other teams with their design for a passenger-carrying Hyperloop "pod," and will now start building a small-scale prototype to test this summer next to SpaceX's headquarters in Hawthorne, California. "MIT has been involved in so many technological breakthroughs in the past century," team captain Philippe Kirschen, a master's student in aeronautics and astronautics, said in a statement. "It just makes sense we would help advance what might be the future of transportation."

Musk — the CEO of private spaceflight company SpaceX and electric-car company Tesla Motors — announced his vision for the Hyperloop in a 2013 white paper. The system would use pods, traveling in tubes in a near-vacuum, to move people between big cities that are no more than 900 miles (1,500 kilometers) apart, such as San Francisco and Los Angeles.
The pods would levitate above the ground. They would therefore encounter very little friction, and could zoom along at nearly the speed of sound (about 767 mph, or 1,234 km/h, at sea level), according to Musk.
Musk envisioned using a cushion of air to achieve levitation, but the MIT team decided to go with magnets above a conducting plate. The aluminum test track that SpaceX is already building near its headquarters will serve as this conducting plate, MIT team members said.
"The beauty of the system we designed is that it's completely passive, an elegant property that will make our pod very scalable," Kirschen added.
The MIT team's prototype Hyperloop pod will be about 8.2 feet (2.5 meters) long by 3.3 feet (1 m) wide and weigh 550 lbs. (250 kilograms), with the aerodynamic feel of a bobsled, Kirschen said. The vehicle will be built to accommodate a mechanical pusher (which will provide propulsion) as well as a variety of sensors, university officials said.
The MIT team will need to finish final assembly of its pod by mid-May. The students will aim to achieve a speed of at least 225 mph (362 km/h) during the vehicle's 20-second inaugural run, which will not include carrying any passengers.
Five of my favourite from the "best" UFO sightings/encounters
So, I've been thinking, as there is a current slump (it appears) in UFO activity (I believe such things are cyclic, and possibly next year will be a big year), and there are so many hoaxes out there on the net these days, I thought I'd revisit some old cases and list five that really stand the test of time for me. They probably aren't what you expect, but here goes....

INTERCONTINENTAL U.F.O. GALACTIC SPACECRAFT RESEARCH AND ANALYTIC NETWORK ARCHIVES
Cash Landrum Possibly not extraterrestrial, but certainly unknown, what Betty Cash and Vickie Landrum experienced definitely had an effect on them physically and mentally - there is no doubt they experienced exposure to some kind of radiation/chemical agent. This incident happened the day after the Rendlesham Incident in the UK. I've always wondered if what they encountered was actually one of ours - possibly a test article of some kind of new nuclear propulsion system (although there apparently was no trace of abnormal radioactivity in the area) or, possibly a live test of some form of chemical warfare/hallucinagen spraying where they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Certainly a UFO in the true sense of being unidentified and irrefutable that something happened to them.

JAL 1628 When an experienced ex-fighter pilot turned Heavy Cargo jet Captain goes public and tells you his aircraft was followed by an object the size of two aircraft carriers over Northern Alaska, its time to sit up and take notice. When the whole incident is recorded on audio, and on radar, and corroborated by ground controllers and the rest of the aeroplane crew, and is unwavering to this day, its time to wonder what the hell these people encountered. What started as two lights ahead of the plane and a question of whether there was military traffic in the area certainly escalated, and pretty quickly. There are drawings out there made by the captain of what he saw, and it must have been terrifying and exquisitely tantalising at the same time.

Zimbabwe School Landing Kids make things up, right? Everyone knows kids are prone to flights of fancy. However, when 62 of them all claim that a UFO landed right next to their school, the day after a mass UFO sighting in Zimbabwe, and that some form of alien entity approached them, scaring them half to death you have to start to wonder what they saw. This case has baffled psychiatrists who have investigated it and walked away believing that the children are definitely scarred from some kind of incident. The story has also stood the test of time, with the witnesses never changing any details as they have grown up. It makes for interesting and (potentially) chilling reading.
Lonnie Zamora Incident In recent years, people have tried to explain this case away, suggesting that Lonnie Zamora was the victim of a prank. I say that those explanations are crap, bought about by someone trying to make a name for themselves in UFOlogy. Zamora was a well respected cop with no reason whatsoever to lie about what he saw and this case has all the hallmarks of something unusual. Police officer sighting, corroborating witnesses to something unusual in the area, ground evidence and traces of activity - so much so that J.Allen Hynek described it as a genuine unknown.
The Cosford Incident This is one of EX-MOD investigator turned UFO researcher Nick Pope's favourite UFO incidents. That should be enough to pique anyone's curiosity and it seems that something really rather huge and triangular shaped traversed a large chunk of British airspace in 1993. It was sighted by multiple independent witnesses, including RAF personnel at two separate bases. Made even more unusual by the fact that there was satellite debris re-re-entering the atmosphere at one point during the evening (the times of sightings differ from that of the re-entry) AND even more extraordinary by the responses to Nicks investigation and answers/questions from the US government, this is one my standout cases, and one that keeps me looking up hoping it'll come back one day.
There are other compelling cases, but I won't run through them all because I'm interested in what you guys might want to add to the list of "the best" with one caveat - no Roswel (its been done to death) - throw some more of your faves at me, or give me your thoughts on what I've listed above?

Het bedrijf wordt gerund door de Italiaans-Amerikaanse kerngeleerde Ruggero Santilli, die zegt dat er sprake is van een samenzwering tegen de ‘nieuwe wetenschap’. Veel mainstream wetenschappers nemen hem niet serieus.
Het onderzoeksteam van Santilli denkt dat de onbekende levensvormen ons mogelijk bespioneren. De organismen zijn ontdekt met behulp van een telescoop met een holle lens. Normaal gesproken zijn telescopen uitgerust met een bolle lens.
Twee soorten
“Wij mensen hebben altijd geloofd dat we alles wat bestaat met onze ogen en optische instrumenten kunnen waarnemen,” zei hij. “Daar komt nu verandering in omdat we entiteiten op aarde hebben gevonden die we niet met het blote oog of optische instrumenten kunnen zien, maar wel met nieuwe instrumenten.”
Santilli claimt ‘tenminste twee verschillende soorten’ onzichtbare entiteiten te hebben gedetecteerd. Hij voegde toe dat zijn resultaten zijn bevestigd door een aantal Amerikaanse astronomen.

“Onze overheid moet antwoord geven op de vraag wat deze entiteiten zijn omdat ze met name industriële en militaire installaties lijken te bespioneren,” zei de kerngeleerde.
Santilli’s collega dr. George Gaines steunt het onderzoek. “We hebben ontdekt dat de realiteit een stuk groter is dan we in eerste instantie dachten,” zei hij. “Met onze telescoop kunnen we dingen zien die we nog nooit eerder hebben gezien.”
