Nieuws betreffende Brogdale

Ik ontvang net volgende mail van mijn Engelse Fruitvriend Howard Stringer. (Zie blog van 24 sept.)

Hallo Daniel,

You will be happy to know that the National Fruit Collections will remain at Brogdale.

The Brogdale Trust has lost the new contract and they will now be managed by Reading University, who will be keeping the Collection where it is now.

So you can book for a visit again there. I will tell you how to do this when I know.  It was only announced yesterday (20/12), so neither the Trust, nor the new set-up have made any detailed plans. The new contract will only come into force at the end of March.
