( The Sweetest ) SMILE

Michael Jackson

RAMASES

Golden Landing

Journey on
Now you gone
Gone to another place
Through what we call a hole in space

Now you think I’ve changed
I know you think I’m strange
But I’m still myself
But I’m still myself
But I’m still, still myself

RAMASES (spoken)
I can see
I can feel
I can breathe
I’m still myself

CHOIR
Golden is the colour of our landing in the morning
And the sun shines so bright on the day of our returning
Golden is the colour of our landing in the dawning
And our eyes will shine with light on the day for which we’re learning

No matter where your spirit wanders
Timeless journeys far from the familiar things
We sometimes call our home
While we’re living here on Earth
Take a trip for what it’s worth
The golden landing many years ago

RAMASES
If you want a rainbow
You gotta have a little rain
Then your eyes are smiling
And the sun is shining once again

If you want a bluebird
You know they spring from just a little pain
Then the bird is flying
And your heart is highing once again

CHOIR
Golden is the colour of our landing in the morning
And the sun will shine so bright on the day of our returning....
