Chris Rea - Skylark Blues CD 3 (The Hofner Bluenotes) from the album "The Return of the Fabulous Hofner Bluenotes". The Return of the Fabulous Hofner Bluenotes is the twenty-second studio album by British singer-songwriter Chris Rea, released in 2008 by his own record label, Jazzee Blue. It comprises three CDs and double 10" Vinyl records in an 80-page hardback book. It is the second album of his project, the Hofner Blue Notes (2003). The project narrates the history of The Delmonts, an imaginary guitar instrumental band from the late 1950s, who in early 1960s evolved into blues band The Hofner Bluenotes. It also gives a brief history of the Hofner guitar and its importance in the development of music in Britain. The book is lavishly illustrated with period photos and mocked up posters and newspaper cuttings about the band, together with some of Rea's paintings, and photos of Hofner guitars. The music was recorded by Rea (guitars), Colin Hodgkinson (bass) and Martin Ditcham (drums), who feature in the book, together with Niel Drinkwater and Robert Ahwai. After the album was released, Rea started a European tour, including a show at London's Royal Albert Hall and Newcastle City Hall. He and his band would perform as a quintet The Fabulous Hofner Blue Notes. Er is een goede reden dat geestverruimende middelen in de zwaarste categorie ‘drugs’ vallen.
De Syrische president Assad hield onlangs een toespraak waarin hij vertelde dat er geen enkel bewijs is dat er zes miljoen Joden zijn omgekomen tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog.
We staan aan het begin van een nieuw jaar dat voor ons wel eens heel erg belangrijk kan worden.
Dat 'vaccinaties' gebruikt zullen worden om het DNA van mensen te veranderen is bij sommigen al heel lang bekend.
Misschien wel het grootste knelpunt voor de komende jaren wordt de krapte op de woningmarkt.
Van alle gefingeerde vijanden waar de mensheid mee te maken heeft, is CO2 misschien wel de allergrootste.
De overheidsinstanties wringen zich in allerlei bochten om de oversterfte onder het tapijt te vegen.
Er bestaat geen limiet voor de bedragen die worden besteed aan asiel- en gelukzoekers.
Veel mensen hebben het gevoel dat de situatie in het Midden Oosten wel eens volledig kan gaan ontsporen.
Overal hebben wij tegenwoordig te maken met vijanden die bestreden dienen te worden.
Zoals wij de afgelopen jaren aan den lijve hebben kunnen ondervinden gaat het algemeen belang boven alles.
Het is natuurlijk al heel lang duidelijk dat er straks geen Palestijnen meer zullen overblijven in de Gazastrook.
We weten dat toeval niet bestaat en dat zaken die ons overkomen meestal lang van te voren worden gepland.
We weten dat veel politici in posities verkeren waarbij ze kunnen worden gechanteerd.
Stukje bij beetje verdwijnt ons originele land en als je daar wat van vindt ben je een complotdenker, racist of extreem rechts.
