Till April

I’ll wait for you till April
While you are far away
I’ll wait for you all winter
If you write me every day

These streets are full of revellers
I’ll keep them all at bay
I’ll wait for you till April
If you write me every day

My mind could not be clearer
My windows shuttered down
I’ll sing this song all winter
Till you come back to this town
