"I'll Be Home For Christmas"

Elvis Presley

"I'll Be Home For Christmas" was written in 1943 by composers Walter Kent, Buck Ram, and lyricist Kim Gannon. The song was originally written to honor soldiers overseas who longed to be home at Christmastime. Elvis Presley recorded "I'll Be Home For Christmas" on September 7, 1957 for Elvis' Christmas Album.
