Deep Purple Dreams

Wo-o-oo-wo-wo
When the deep purple falls
Over sleepy garden walls
And the stars begin to twinkle in the night
In the mist of a memory
You wander all back to me
Breathing my name with a sigh

In the still of the night
Once again I hold you tight
Tho' you're gone your love lives on when light beams
And as long as my heart will beat
Sweet lover, we'll always meet
Here in my deep purple dreams

When the deep purple falls
Over sleepy garden walls
And the stars begin to twinkle
In the night
In the mist of a memory
You wander all back to me
Breathing my name with a sigh

In the still of the night
Once again I hold you tight
Tho' you're gone your love lives on when moonlight beams
And as long as my heart will beat
Sweet lover, we'll always meet
Here in my deep purple dreams
And as long as my heart will beat
Sweet lover, we'll always meet
Here in my deep purple dreams
Wo-o-oo-wo-wo..

Novembro

Só
No vazio entardecer
Só
Demorando até perder
A vontade ainda de salvar
O sol que já não quer ficar

Só
Singular desilusão
Dor
Diluída na canção
Para esquecer que o amor tem afinal
Um sopro final e é só

Vem
Chegou Novembro, o dia clareou
Tanto amor que se gastou
Vem
Que até ao fim será preciso arder
De tanto amar hei-de morrer

Só
No vazio entardecer
Só
Demorando até perder
Novembro hás-de esquecer
Sei que hei-de esquecer
Tão só

Trail Of Dreams

For the brave one
Oh spirit of fire
Misty morning songs of laughter
High above the ordinary
Treasure waiting
For those who would learn
Hearing there the master’s voice
Holding on the spiral turning

In the mountains
They’re calling your name
Gathered through the ages past
To the mission of the future
In the mountains
The spring comes again
Destiny is coming
Can you hear it humming

Time and again
You will find your way within
In the light of the Sun
In your soul believe
Time standing still
By the power of your will
In a life to be filled
In your heart receive
Time travels on
From the dark into the dawn
This is where you belong on the trail
Of dreams

Here Mukunda your moment arrives
Mystery reveals the way
Onward to the soul connection
In the silence your destiny told
With you in the strength of one
Carried in the flame of reason

On the ocean, you’re sailing afar
Heading with the western wind
To another dream horizon
On the water we’ll dance in the light
Memories remind you
Coming up behind you

Time and again
You will find your way within
In the light of the Sun
In your soul believe
Time standing still
By the power of your will
In a life to be filled
In your heart receive
Time travels on
From the dark into the dawn
This is where you belong on the trail
Of dreams

Song to the Moon

Silver moon upon the deep dark sky,
Through the vast night pierce your rays.
This sleeping world you wander by,
Smiling on man's homes and ways.
Oh moon ere past you glide, tell me,
Tell me, oh where does my loved one bide?
Oh moon ere past you glide, tell me
Tell me, oh where does my loved one bide?
Tell him, oh tell him, my silver moon,
Mine are the arms that shall hold him,
That between waking and sleeping he may
Think of the love that enfolds him,
May between waking and sleeping
Think of the love that enfolds him.
Light his path far away, light his path,
Tell him, oh tell him who does for him stay!
Human soul, should it dream of me, Let my memory wakened be.
Moon, moon, oh do not wane, do not wane,
Moon, oh moon, do not wane....

"Remembering John Barry"
http://www.johnbarry.org.uk/index.php

"Dear John Barry,
Thank you for the wonderful beautiful music in the films I loved the most: "Out of Africa" and "Dances with Wolves". Your compositions brought me in deep felt emotions, and not "Out of Africa" but "In... Africa". They made me dance with wolves, and with the Native Indians, connected me with John Dunbar, his life, his fears and with his love for the Indians, for their rights, their humanity, their shining strong natural inbeing, for the way they lived. "John Dunbar", "Wind in his hair", "Stands with a Fist", "Karen Blixen".... what would they have been without your music? Should we have understood them as we do now?
Thank you.
Your music brought me unforgettable experiences.

Lyrics:

Give me a smile / Give me a sense of who I am/
Give me a breath of vanished days / and fires that once blazed within/

Give me a smile / Give me a vast yet private sky/
Give me a light beyond the light/
Where other worlds just might begin...

Cx: Give me the courage / to see how limitless we are/
and not be haunted by the past / the past has passed/

Give me a smile / give me a promise I can touch/
Give me a stillness in my soul / A reason for this earth to spin/
Give me a smile...

cx: repeat
Last verse repeat to end!

Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper "I love you"
Birds singing in the sycamore trees
Dream a little dream of me

Say "nighty night" and kiss me
Just hold me tight and tell me you'll miss me
While I'm alone and blue as can be
Dream a little dream of me

Stars fading but I linger on, dear
Still craving your kiss
I'm longing to linger till dawn, dear
Just saying this

Sweet dreams till sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams, whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me
