Do you remember the 21st night of September?
Love was changing the minds of pretenders
While chasing the clouds away

Our hearts were ringing
In the key that our souls were singing.
As we danced in the night,
Remember how the stars stole the night away

Earth, Wind & Fire - September

Mijn Stad

Een aangevreten vuilniszak
Drijft in de majem van de gracht
Een file staat te claxoneren
De haringman roept: "Krijg de kolere"
Een junkie bietst een piek
Omdat 'ie naar z'n shotje smacht
Dat is mijn stad, dames en heren

Een kraker laat z'n hondje uit
Dat piest tegen een bloemenbak
Een hoer staat wenkend te proberen
Zeelui bij haar aan te doen meren
De renovatie woekert voort
Een woonboot zinkt op z'n gemak
Dat is mijn stad, dames en heren

De duiven dalen op de Dam
De orgelman, al uren lang
Draait aan mijn stad
M'n Amsterdam

De Albert Kuyp schreeuwt, gonst en bruist
De Govert Flink voelt zich vermoeid
De Amstel laat zich niet verstjeren
Meeuwen blijven over 't ijs scheren

Mijn Amsterdam
Draait aan mijn stad
Mijn Amsterdam
Draait aan mijn stad
Mijn Amsterdam
Draait aan mijn stad
Mijn Amsterdam
Draait aan mijn stad
Mijn Amsterdam

I woke up today and it was Autumn.

Good morning Autumn.
I hope you are gentle
to my heart and my mind.
Keep me cozy
and keep me kind. ..

Autumn Leaves

Ed Sheeran

Anthem

The birds they sang
at the break of day
Start again
I seem to hear them say
Do not dwell on what
has passed away
or what is yet to be.
Ah the wars they will
be fought again
The holy dove
She will be caught again
bought and sold
and bought again
the dove is never free.
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack
A crack in everything
That's how the light gets in.
We asked for signs
and the signs were sent:
the birth betrayed
the marriage spent
Yeah the widowhood
of every single government
signs for all to see
I can't run no more
with that lawless crowd
Ah but they've summoned, they've summoned up
a thundercloud
and they're going to hear from me.
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack
A crack in everything
That's how the light gets in
You can add up the parts
but you won't have the sum
You can strike up the march
on your little broken drum
Every heart, every heart
to love will come
but like a refugee
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in.
Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in
That's how the light gets in
That's how the light gets in

Kenesha Antoine voelt zich kapot met Steven Weber.

20 september om 10:16

There are no words adequate enough to honor the beautiful soul that is Steven Weber, Jr. You were a bright light to everyone you encountered. You never met a stranger, and you brought so much joy to so many people. You were kind, compassionate, you regularly made me cry with laughter, and you showered me with a love like none I’d ever experienced.

You never emerged from those depths, so you never got to hear my answer, “Yes! Yes! A million times, yes, I will marry you!!” We never got to embrace and celebrate the beginning of the rest of our lives together, as the best day of our lives turned into the worst, in the cruelest twist of fate imaginable. I will try to take solace in the fact that we enjoyed the most amazing bucket list experiences these past few days, and that we both were so happy and absolutely giddy with excitement in our final moments together.

Just a couple days before you died, you said to me, “I’ve seen a few cancer patients on this trip, and it dawned on me that this is a once-in-a-lifetime thing that people want to experience before they die. And here we are in the prime of our lives doing this. We are so blessed.”

Yes, we were, my perfect love, my angel, my soul. Yes, we were, and I will carry the blessing of the love we shared with me forever. I will find you and marry you in the next lifetime, and the next, and the next, and the next... I love you so much, and I always will. 💔

Please pray for all the family and friends that loved him so much. Please love each other while you can, as hard as you can. I know that wherever in the universe Steven’s spirit now resides, that is exactly what he’s doing: giving love and spreading joy and laughter. And knowing him, always quick with an off-color joke, he’s probably entertaining someone with a story about how he royally screwed up that proposal and died while being extra.

Rest well, my sweet baby! Always know that you are forever loved! ❤️😢🙏🏽

Leuk

Natuur maakt zijn eigen kunstwerkjes !

Saturday Sun

came early one morning
In a sky so clear and blue
Saturday sun came without warning
So no-one knew what to do.
Saturday sun brought people and faces
That didn't seem much in their day
But when I remember those people and places
They were really too good in their way.
In their way
In their way
Saturday sun won't come and see me today.

Think about stories with reason and rhyme
Circling through your brain.
And think about people in their season and time
Returning again and again
And again
And again
And Saturday's sun has turned to Sunday's rain.

So Sunday sat in the Saturday sun
And wept for a day gone by...

Fall again

Feels like a fire that burns in my heart
Every single moment that we spend apart
I need you around for every day to start
I haven't left you alone

Something about you, starin' in your eyes
Everything I'm looking for I seem to find
All this time away is killing me inside
I need your love in my life

I wanna spend time till it end
I wanna fall with you again
Like we did when we first met
I wanna fall with you again

Fought in a battle, but nobody won
Left ourselves a mountain to be overcome
You can't run away, the past is said and done
I need us to carry on

I wanna spend time till it end
I wanna fall with you again
Like we did when we first met
I wanna fall with you again

You'll try everything
You never thought it before
When you live, when you love, and you give them your all
You're always give up some more

Loving mean's anything
[?]
I can breathe, I can bleed, I can die in my sleep
You're always there in my dreams

I wanna spend time till it end
I wanna fall with you again
Like we did when we first met
I wanna fall with you again

I wanna spend time till it end
I wanna fall with you again
Like we did when we first met
I wanna fall with you again

All that I find here in my heart
(that's cool.. ooh-aah... great sound)
