Hello like before..
Hello like before
I'd never come here
If I'd known that you were here
I must admit though
That's it's nice to see you, dear
You look like you've been doing well
Hello like before
I hope we've grown
'Cause we were only children then
For laughs I guess we both can say
'I knew when'
But then again, that's kiss and tell
Hello like before
I guess it's different
'Cause we know each other now
I guess I've always known
We'd meet again somehow
So that it might as well be now..

Learning to fly
Learning to fly
nce you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.”
Leonardo da Vinci"
Learning To Fly"
Into the distance, a ribbon of black
Stretched to the point of no turning back
A flight of fancy on a windswept field
Standing alone my senses reeled
A fatal attraction is holding me fast
How can I escape this irresistible grasp?
Can't keep my eyes from the circling sky
Tongue-tied and twisted, just an earth-bound misfit, I
Ice is forming on the tips of my wings
Unheeded warnings, I thought, I thought of everything
No navigator to find my way home
Unladened empty and turned to stone
A soul in tension that's learning to fly
Condition grounded but determined to try
Can't keep my eyes from the circling skies
Tongue-tied and twisted just an earth-bound misfit
Stretched to the point of no turning back
A flight of fancy on a windswept field
Standing alone my senses reeled
A fatal attraction is holding me fast
How can I escape this irresistible grasp?
Can't keep my eyes from the circling sky
Tongue-tied and twisted, just an earth-bound misfit, I

I'm soo tired
I'm soo tired
out here
i can barely see my breath
surrounded
by jealousy and death
i can't be reached
i've only had one call
dragged underneath
seperate from you all
this time
i've lost my own return
in spite of
everything i've learned
i hid my tracks
spit out all my air
slipped into cracks
stripped of all my cares
i'm so tired
sheep are counting me
no more struggle
no more energy
no more patient
you can write that down
it's all too crazy
i'm not sticking 'round

Bron: Valse website 'DigiD'

"Don't Give Up"
"Don't Give Up"
in this proud land we grew up strong
we were wanted all along
I was taught to fight, taught to win
I never thought I could fail
no fight left or so it seems
I am a man whose dreams have all deserted
I've changed my face, I've changed my name
but no one wants you when you lose
don't give up
'cos you have friends
don't give up
you're not beaten yet
don't give up
I know you can make it good
though I saw it all around
never thought I could be affected
thought that we'd be the last to go
it is so strange the way things turn
drove the night toward my home
the place that I was born, on the lakeside
as daylight broke, I saw the earth
the trees had burned down to the ground
don't give up
you still have us
don't give up
we don't need much of anything
don't give up
'cause somewhere there's a place
where we belong
rest your head
you worry too much
it's going to be alright
when times get rough
you can fall back on us
don't give up
please don't give up
'got to walk out of here
I can't take anymore
going to stand on that bridge
keep my eyes down below
whatever may come
and whatever may go
that river's flowing
that river's flowing
moved on to another town
tried hard to settle down
for every job, so many men
so many men no-one needs
don't give up
'cause you have friends
don't give up
you're not the only one
don't give up
no reason to be ashamed
don't give up
you still have us
don't give up now
we're proud of who you are
don't give up
you know it's never been easy
don't give up

Lets Face The Music and Dance
Let’s Face the Music and Dance
There may be trouble ahead
But while theres moonlight and music and love and romance
Let's face the music and dance
Before the fiddlers have fled
Before they ask us to pay the bill
And while we still have the chance
Let's face the music and dance
Soon, we'll be without the moon
Humming a different toon
And then, there may be tear drops to shed
So while theres moonlight and music and love and romance
Let's face the music and dance
Let's face the music and dance
(musical break)
Soon, we'll be without the moon
Humming a different toon
And then, there may be tear drops to shed
So while theres moonlight and music and love and romance
Let's face the music and dance
Let's face the music and dance..

I'll Keep on Loving You...
I'll Keep on Loving You...
"I'll Keep On Loving You"
If the world keeps on turning and I'm sure it's bound to do
Then I'll keep on loving you
And if the dawn comes tomorrow and we know that it is true
Then I'll keep on loving you
What the thing changes sky to fall the dawn wouldn't come the world wouldn't stall
I wouldn't care as long as you're near it wouldn't matter to me at all
And if the stars stay in heaven and the moon stays in the blue
Then I'll keep on loving you
[piano - guitar]
If I ever should lose you then I know just what I'll do
I'll just keep on loving you
You are heaven to me dear you are every dream come true
And I'll keep on loving you
Life is so sweet when you are near I couldn't do without you my dear
I love you so I want you to know I think of you wherever I go
And I will always be faithful and I'm sure that you will too
And I'll keep of loving you then I'll keep on loving you
Then I'll keep on loving you
And if the dawn comes tomorrow and we know that it is true
Then I'll keep on loving you
What the thing changes sky to fall the dawn wouldn't come the world wouldn't stall
I wouldn't care as long as you're near it wouldn't matter to me at all

"Sorrow"
"Sorrow"
The sweet smell of a great sorrow lies over the land
Plumes of smoke rise and merge into the leaden sky
A man lies and dreams of green fields and rivers
But awakes to a morning with no reason for waking
He's haunted by the memory of a lost paradise
In his youth or a dream, he can't be precise
He's chained forever to a world that's departed
It's not enough, it's not enough
His blood has frozen and curdled with fright
His knees have trembled and given way in the night
His hand has weakened at the moment of truth
His step has faltered
One world, one soul
Time pass, the river rolls
And he talks to the river of lost love and dedication
And silent replies that swirl invitation
Flow dark and troubled to an oily sea
A grim intimation of what is to be
There's an unceasing wind that blows through this night
And there's dust in my eyes, that blinds my sight
And silence that speaks so much louder than words
Of promises broken...
Plumes of smoke rise and merge into the leaden sky
A man lies and dreams of green fields and rivers
But awakes to a morning with no reason for waking
He's haunted by the memory of a lost paradise

"Many people spend their life, at the mercy of circumstances. Living at the mercy of what happens to them. Living at the mercy of other people. NOT living in the present, because they are stuck in the prison of their past.
If you want to live a GREAT life, don’t allow yourself to be controlled by any of these things.
NUMBER 1 - Your PAST.
NUMBER 2 - Other peoples opinions and judgements
NUMBER 3 - LIMITED BELIEFS you project on yourself.
NUMBER 4 - Relationships, and
NUMBER 5 - MONEY."

If You Don't Know Me By Now
If you don't know me by now
You will never never never know me
All the things
That we've been through
You should understand me
Like I understand you
Now girl I know the difference
Between right and wrong
I ain't gonna do nothing
To break up our happy home
Don't get so excited
When I come home
A little late at night
'Cause we only act like children
When we argue fuss and fight
If you don't know me by now
You will never never never know me
We've all got our
Own funny moods
I've got mine,
Woman you've got yours too
Just trust in me like I trust in you
As long as we've been together
It should be so easy to do
Just get yourself together
Or we might as well say goodbye
What good is a love affair
When you can't see eye to eye
If you don't know me by now
You will never
Never never know me..
