Uit Nigeria ontvingen we van ons team volgende tekst : we publiceren naderhand nog wel een korte vertaling ! We wensen het team alle geluk en feliciteren hen met dit prachtige initiatief: ze bezoeken o.a. een tehuis voor "moederloze" kinderen en werken ze verder aan het verbeteren van het lot van arme Nigeriaanse kinderen...

HAPPY CHILDERN'S DAY
In line with the 1954 United Nations {UN} General Assembly declaration that all countries should institute a universal Childern's Day to celebrate Childern and draw attention to their Plights,Nigeria will, once again,on Tuesday may 27,2008,identify with her Childern.
The Day has always been used to drew attention to such basic rights of Nigerian Childern such as right to Education, Healthcare, Development, Protection from Child Labour, Trafficking, Sexual and other forms of Exploitaion.
In our efforts to ensure that Nigerian Childern enjoy basic rights and well project leading institutions and brands contributing to the well being of Nigeria Children, A BETTER WORLD NIGERIA will be taken part in a March past/Parade and we will be visiting ITORI MOTHERLESS BABIES HOME. We will also project institutions and brands that are in the fore front of Child Development in Nigeria and the whole world.
We Thank Father Frans Medaer the philantropist who makes it possible for us to celebrate 2008 Childern's Day. Long Live Father Frans Medaer.
