La Redoute supports new, young talent. Since last year, La Redoute has been awarding the La Redoute x HEAD Prize for new Bachelor and Master graduates from the Fashion Design and Accessories Department of the HEAD in Geneva. This gives the laureate the opportunity to develop a capsule collection for La Redoute. Supporting new talent is always a good idea.
Do you remember the work of Flore Girard de Langlade, winner last year? It was a real commercial success. This year, Quynh Bui has caught the attention of Sylvette Boutin-Lepers, Creative Partners and Brand Image Manager.
“I like the world of Quynh, its architectural approach to clothing, its enormous sense of volume, which brings uniqueness to its creations” Sylvette Boutin-Lepers.
The capsule collection is inspired by the work clothes of gold miners. It's a subtil reference on how they used to wear it. It is translated in a strong attitude for the modern La Redoute woman. Her architectural approach to the garment and her feel for oversized volumes give a unique quality to her designs. Yes, these looks have Power Lady written all over them!
