Give your denim collection a 2021-proof update
Runway inspired SS21 jeans trends : The great thing about jeans, is that this wardrobe essential is slightly adapted every season, to match the current fashion trends. That means there is never not an excuse to get a new pair. We have selected our favorite runway looks and SS21 denim trends, to make shopping a little easier.
Chloé SS21: Skaterboy but make it chic. The loose fitted jeans with a wide-leg cut will dominate the denim trends this season. The SS21 Chloé runway gives us a perfect example of how to style it in a cool, yet feminine silhouette: with a belt accentuating the waist.
Chanel SS21: 2021 will hopefully bring some more color into our lives. One thing is for sure, the jeans will at least! Dutch supermodel Jill Kortleve shows us how to rock the pink, baggy variant in the Chanel SS21 fashion show.
Balmain : Double denim is back! Think Justin and Britney, but 2021. Combine a denim vest with a pair of jeans in the same hue, like Balmain does, or opt for a curve-hugging skirt to make it a really feminine look.
Alberta Ferretti :
White-washed jeans spark a true summer feeling. This season, white and off-white jeans combined with some sandals make for a relaxed, yet trendy look. Alberta Ferretti shows us how.
The new normal in denim has shifted from skinny jeans to a classic, straight leg cut. A safe option for every occasion.
Lee Cooper
In the GUESS SS21 collection, the fashion-forward SMART GUESS eco line continues to grow. This cool assortment of men’s, women’s and kid’s clothing is made using environmentally-conscious manufacturing processes, once again renewing GUESS’ commitment to sustainable fashion. For the SS21 season, GUESS is proud to present Reborn Denim. This stand-out collection is made using second-hand, pre-loved denim that is meticulously selected and carefully processed, eliminating waste and resulting in ultra-soft denim.
Belgian brand Lee Cooper also proves jeans can be produced in an eco-friendly way. The brand uses only two liters of water for the production of a pair of jeans, which is revolutionary. Recycled or bio-cotton is also used as much as possible and each pair of jeans is ECO-washed, using less water, energy, and chemicals. Lee Cooper has also been completely CO2-neutral for a number of years now. Their emissions are compensated by planting trees in Uganda, within the 'Save the Trees' project that prevents deforestation.
