LolaLiza is moving towards a greener future
Sustainable is the new standard. And step by step, LolaLiza too is moving towards a greener future. Always looking forward, never backwards. By 2025, LolaLiza wants to be making over 50% of their range with recyclable or natural fabrics.
In this newly launched collection, LolaLiza uses many recyclable and natural fabrics for a collection full of sturdy pieces that exude power. A jumpsuit, quilted jacket or black denim dress: a greener future is looking stylish at LolaLiza.
Overall, denim has never been the most eco-friendly garment one can have in their closet. That's why LolaLiza introduces eco wash denim pieces. This means the denim has been washed with low-impact chemicals and less consumption of water and energy. Cool but conscious, we'd say.
Also Eco Vero viscose, the sustainable version of viscose, is used in this collection. Eco Vero has the lightness, shine and comfortable wearability of viscose, but with a significant less environmentally damaging production process. It’s produced with less water and less emission. Just look at this dress, being all pretty and way less harmful for the environment.
Recycled polyester is a fabric that has been made out of recycled plastic bottles. Its production requires far fewer resources than that of new fibres and it generates fewer CO2 emissions. This sturdy padded jacket above, made out of recycled polyester, proves that being fashionable and eco-friendly at the same time isn’t that tough after all.
LolaLiza puts her money where her mouth is: in 2019 the retailer partnered up with Terre absl. Until September 1st 2021, you can bring in old clothes (of any brand) to a LolaLiza store which will then be reused or recycled. Like there is no tomorrow!
