Chinese actress, musician and cellist Ouyang Nana is the new Global Ambassador for Salvatore Ferragamo Eyewear
Salvatore Ferragamo appoints 21-year-old Ouyang Nana, a Chinese cellist, singer, songwriter and an actress as the new Eyewear Global Ambassador. A precocious virtuoso and incredibly gifted cellist, Ouyang was awarded a scholarship at the age of 13 to attend the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia.
In 2014 she made her big screen debut in the film Beijing Love Story. With a growing fan-base in the millions– thanks to her innate talent, charismatic personality and her unique style – she soon became an icon for her generation.
Her love for art in all its forms, pursuit of excellence and passion are perfectly in line with the spirit of the Fashion House. The collaboration between Ouyang Nana and Ferragamo began in 2017, with the artist's attendance of the Autumn/Winter 2018 fashion show in Milan. A relationship that has been further cemented with the Fall/Winter 2021 eyewear campaign.
