Parc Astérix is kicking off its new summer season on 14th July 2023. The park's gates will remain open until 10pm, giving visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a Gaulish Summer. On the menu for this exciting season: a new pirate float for the Gaulish Parade, the return of the shows A Ruckus in the Farmyard, the fireworks show The Sky is Falling on Our Heads, and the Gaulish Banquet for a unique tasting experience in the company of the heroes of the comic strip. And don't forget the 7 water attractions that will delight young and old alike.

NEW FOR SUMMER 2023: THE PIRATE FLOAT AND THE SHOW “PIRATES IN CHOPPY WATERS” !

This year, visitors will be able to (re)discover the Gaulish Parade led by Asterix, featuring four floats: Cleopatra, Caesar, the Gauls and a new float that will be making its debut this summer, the Pirates float. This float will introduce 3 new characters to the parade: Captain Redbeard, Baba the lookout and Three-Legs. The new "Pirates in Choppy Waters" show will be taking place on the banks of the lake. The pirates, who first appeared in Asterix the Gladiator, see their ships destroyed by the indomitable Gauls in almost every edition of the comic strip. As recurring comic characters in the cartoon, it seemed only natural to pay tribute to them and include them in the park!

LOADS OF BIG THRILLS FOR THE SUMMER SEASON!

In addition to its 45 flagship attractions (23 family rides, 8 thrill rides and 14 for Little Gauls), including the new Toutatis rollercoaster, throughout the summer season Parc Astérix will be showcasing 7 water attractions for those looking for a little refreshment.: Menhir Express, Le Grand Splash, Romus et Rapidus, The Oxygénarium, The River of Élis, Hydrolix and the Épidemaïs River Cruise. There's something for all the family, from thrilling drops to water rides. Another new feature: visitors will also be able to get "wet" while watching the attraction Le Grand Splash!

THE TRADITIONAL GAULISH BANQUET: THE ART OF ENTERTAINING IN TRUE GAULISH STYLE!

Who hasn't dreamt of sitting down to a proper feast alongside the heroes of the Village of the Indomitable Gauls? Parc Astérix is making that dream come true with a 100% Gaulish open-air banquet, featuring a lively dinner in the company of the characters from the comic strip. Created in 2019 to mark the park's 30th anniversary, the Gaulish Banquet was a resounding success during Summer in Gaul in 2022, and it will once again be on the agenda for Summer 2023. This immersive culinary experience in the heart of Asterix's home village is punctuated by entertainment in the company of the famous characters, offering an unforgettable experience for both the taste buds and the eyes. SHOWS THAT SHOULD NOT BE MISSED

The Divers of Olympia: In honour of Zeus, 4 Roman and Greek athletes will compete in a high-flying diving competition at the Theatre of Poseidon in the heart of Olympia. Le juge Papacrapulos anime ce concours au milieu d’un stade de 3000 places. At the end of the team competition, 8 athletes will perform a series of spectacular tricks. The winning delegation will go on to compete in the individual competition, and at the end, only one will remain!

A Ruckus in the Farmyard : Once again there's going to be a bang at the Village of the Indomitable Gauls with this family show presented in the 200-seat Théâtre du Barde. This outdoor show features a Roman soldier catapulted into the Gaulish Village, where he meets Bucolix and his farmyard companions.

The Theft of the Mona Lisa : For over 26 years, Parc Astérix has been the setting for the heist of the century. A gang of rogues on the rampage, overwhelmed police officers, a stunned house painter, explosions and stunts, all at a frenetic pace - that's the recipe for this cult show!

A STAY IN ONE OF THE PARK’S 3 HOTELS

With its 3 hotels, Parc Astérix offers visitors an immersive experience. After a day full of thrills and spills, the adventure continues in a 450-room themed hotel park in the heart of the Oise - Pays de France Regional Nature Park.
