To celebrate the changing season, ARKET café introduces a new chapter in its Pastry Drop™ series. Available from November, the Saffron Holiday Bun is a rich, flaky variation of the traditional Swedish lussebulle which has a firm place in Nordic holiday culture.
‘Ask any Swede and he or she will confirm – December is the month of the saffron bun. In keeping true to the traditions yet adding a new twist, our version is based on the same buttery dough as our popular cinnamon bun but seasonally seasoned with saffron and with a filling of creamy almond paste’, says Martin Berg, head chef and concept responsible at ARKET café.
Pastry Drop™ #10 – the Saffron Holiday Bun will be available in a limited edition in all ARKET cafés during November and December. The bun will cost 3,90€.
